Remember our discussion a little while back? well my plan has changed ever so slightly in that I do not want to waste the drops that I do have so I am doing 4 weeks p2 (also to get rid of my easter indiscretions) which leaves me with only a week on P3 before going back on P2.... would that be seen as a planned interruption rather than a break?.... I suppose I just need to be careful not to Overload before getting back onto P2?...
I have med issues that require steroids at times so I will never be at goal and stay there. When I'm not on a round of steroids I easily stay at goal, maintaining is super easy for me. But then I take another round or two and have to relose again. I get to goal faster cycling than I do doing straight rounds simply because my body responds to the breaks well and mentally it works better for me. Most of the people I know that are super strict on a diet and set up definite goals are the ones that regain or fall off the wagon because they stress themselves out. The ones I know that lost weight have kept if off have made the plans fit their lifestyles and made them liveable even if it took a bit longer.

OOPS didn't answer your question LOL I did a cycle back in the fall, lost weight, kept most of it off all through the holidays and only returned to dieting recently to get some more off. So no I'm not on a super long time, I take months off when I feel like it. Sometimes I'm at goal a couple of years before I have to go back on meds, sometimes 3-6 months, etc

According to Pounds and Inches, a Planned Interruption had to be at least 4 days so you should be fine...

Almostthere - on a planned interruption, do you load again? I don't think so, but just clarifying . . . sorry, I guess I could re-read P&I, huh?? LOL

You only have to reload if you are off 14 days or more according to protocol

I am on a short Planned Interruption right now for 6 days and I am not going to reload but I am going take advantage of at least some extra good carbs and good fats the second day of injections.. Like poobear said, I only do a really good load if my Planned Interruption is over 14 days...

well, I did a complete 40 day round in January and stabilized well and felt good. I journaled, weighed, documented and followed the program to a T. I REALLY wanted to protocol to work, as I was a 14...and I got down to about a size 6/8....fast forward to round 2...I started a few weeks ago, lost 9 pounds right away and decided I was going to cycle. I believe cycling can be great but when i cycled into p3 I did whatever I wanted!! I did NOT follow VLCD for the first 3 days of no shots, I ate bread, etc whatever I wanted...and here I am a week later and 7 pounds heavier....about to cycle back to p2 tomorrow only to have to lose the same weight I just lost 2 weeks ago! So...I can see how HCG can become an addictive habit....because I am feeling much better about how I look, there's this part of me that wants to do another round to get off the last 15, but i'm being kind of loosey goosey about it because I'm not as desparate as I was the first time. I DO NOT want to become someone who spends their life going off and on HCG.

So I'd love some support. I want to recommit to cycling back to P2 tomorrow, doing a full 30 day round, then stabilizing and ending with a full p3/p4. I want to make this commitment to myself to commit to doing another round like I did the first time, being dilligent and following the protocol like my life depends on it. I want to do it once, see it through, and not be yo-yoing back and forth between p3/p4 for years to come.

I'm posting this here in cyclers, cause this is the thread I have been following, and because I know some of you have lived what I am talking about and probably can offer some great advice on how you have navigated those defining moments of great commitment to see you through.

Good Sunday morning. Down past my start weight by .8 back to fish soup and chicken with celery. Hope every one is doing well. I did a 20 walk on the aerobic machine, and worked outside for about 5 hours. Love the 80 degrees. Enjoy the day. Hope everyone has a great loss day!

    Good morning, Ladies

I'm down .6 this morning, 2.4 over the last 3 days. Not bad.

Welcome sk1771!! I've been into this round for 14 days & I'm looking at approx 14 more days (or until my pellets run out!). Then a 7 day break & back into P2. I get married on 06/14 in Jamaica, so I'm trying to take advantage of this time. I will have more rounds when I return, but wanted a good start!

Lisa - nice work out!! Our winds have been sustained at 30-40 mph so my outside walks haven't happened. 80 degrees but impossible to walk in. 😒

    Have a great day!!

Sk as you found out the key to cycling is being careful to maintain your weight while you are on your off week. Other wise you just lose the progress you made on your on week. Good luck with your new round. I'm sure you will do fine.

AFM I am starting back on P2 tomorrow. Switched from shots to RX drops and took a few days to figure out my dose, wasn't about to restart P2 without my dose right, that would be miserable. So tomorrow should be my P2 restart and since I had to tinker with dosing I had a 3 day load instead of no load like normal, we'll see how bad of a jump that is. Will probably stay on about 10 days, we'll see when I get there.

Good Monday morning. Down another 2.2 - when I do P2 regular, I don't lose this much weight. So am excited to see how this works out for me

Determined10 - The yard work helps tons! I am very active. When in P2 it is tough for me to stay still.

With the bad weather coming in tonight, will be housebound for a couple of days. Hope everyone in the path stays safe!

Where do you live, Lisab?? What type of bad weather are you fixing to get? tornadoes? Great loss on the 2.2!

AFM: I fell off the wagon last night. I guess Sunday turned into Funday!! I weighed on my fiancé's scale & looks like I am up 2-3 lbs. It will come off (darned carb weight), but it will take me 2-3 days. That seems to be the norm for me. It seems like my body needs those carbs every couple of weeks when I am so strict with this protocol. If that is true, I should be good to go to finish out this round really strong. I want the 170's so bad!!

    Have a great day!!
