I would like to continue on the diet until I get the weight off ...period! So if I am getting this correctly.... I will not lose weight faster ...got that! but this will allow you to stay on the diet longer correct? So if I stabilize well and want to start a new round I can cycle until I finish what I want to lose (or as long as I wish).

I am estimating after this round I may have about 40 more to lose. So I guess I am trying to figure if I would be better cycling until it's gone since I will not get rid of that much in one more round.

    Does that make sense? LOL

    Stardust,

Simply put you will be adding foods to your body that have not been in there for a month. You need to see how your body responds to each of these foods, both individually and when mixed together...like sugars and fats, or sugars and starches or starches and fats. If you don't give your body that opportunity 1 of see eral things will happen. You won't know your problem foods (which we all have) or you won't keep at your weight because you will gain.

    Brender,

If you are talking about finishing this round completely then you are correct. If you decide to just cycle (which I absolutely do not recommend) I believe you will continue to struggle with your weight.

I have done two rounds, one long (with no stabilizations issues) and a short round (with major hunger and stabilization issues).

My questions is can I do one round of two weeks and that's it? I need to lose about 8-10 pounds and I think I will be more sane with this time period since my round 2 was horrible for some reason.

I need the super strict structure of hcg and the negative consequence of a large gain while having hcg in my system. I don't think I can ever "diet" the old fashioned way ever again if you know what I mean.

Yes, I will definitely finish this round totally and stabalize. When I come back to it I would like to keep on the plan until I am done.. so in other words if one more round doesn't cut it I may cycle back on P2 until I hit goal instead of stopping and needing to wait 8 weeks to come back another round ..thanks for the help

Me personally, I would do a minimum of 23 days. I think it is the smartest way to finish. You may be able to just do 14 days but don't you want to "ensure" that resetting? P & I says 23 days for that. If you get to goal, up your calories to 800 for those last few days and enjoy the extra time your body will have to settle in.

    Good luck

Universal is correct. You need to do a complete round. If you read pounds and inches it expressly talks about this issue.

I guess I don't see the difference between doing one "cycling" round and doing multiple rounds as described in the sticky.

Because those of us that cycle still fully expect to FINISH the hcg diet journey with a full and complete round. For example I do 2 weeks on and one week off and when I get down to the last 10 pounds or so, I will start a 23 day round. When I get to my goal, I will up my calories to 800 calories until I hit the full 23 days of shots and then continue on with a full 3 week p3 and full 3 week p4.

You don't see how this is different than doing multiple rounds? The difference is I am not going into p4 between rounds, I am going from p2 to p3 and then back to p2. .. . ..

You don't think you need to finish with a full and complete round when you have already had stabilization issues? Please reread what you wrote - the answer is in what you wrote. It may not be what you want to hear but it is still the same answer.

    Good luck!

Sorry, didn't read the part where you state you have to end cycling with a full round. My apologies.

Hi someone on my thread suggested I come here to see if you can help me with my dilema. I will try to make it short. I have done 3 rounds 23/23/40 days. I am completing p3 now. I have had major problems due to huge fungus though out my body. I originally went to my thyroid dr to get rid of gerd and that's how we started on hcg more as a "fasting cure" for all my yeast, gerd, leaky gut issues.Gerd gone and I am better However the yeast is still just way too much. He now has me on amphotecerin B ( oral antifungal powder) and basically the food list is p2 again! So it was suggested I ask if I could"cycle" back to P2 now. I wish I had taken the powder this last round but we were trying to rid me of this junk without it.

BTW I did read every post here and still not sure if I can cycle back. I think it would be so much easier than without it and I have gained back about 5 pounds but I think it's mostly bloat and die off....any ideas would be so appreciated!!
