I'm here for some motivation today - loaded last week and was doing fine until Friday - had a big garage/moving sale and everyone brought all kinds of food and I had forgotten to take my hcg since I was so focused on the getting set up. BIG mistake. Now I'm up a lb over my start weight (:. However know if I get back on it today the weight should come off fairly easily (I hope).

Deep Waters - it does seem like everyone has disappeared. Teresa who started the thread hasn't posted in awhile.

Last10 - how did you lose so much weight if you didn't use hog? And over what time period did you lose it? Starting around 210# and want to drop at least 20 by Thanksgiving and then another 10 by Xmas which is doable as long as I get back to it. Haven't tried tapatalk yet - is it easy to use? New to iPad.

This is my second time doing this diet, I messed up the first time during the maintenance phase, didn't watch things, so trying again..How about you? Is this your first time?
    Hi Elvis...
Glad to see some others here and looking for like situations. I did do this program in 2010 and did pretty well. I was only doing the 21 day cycles, but completed 2 and lost about 35 pounds. Then my mother passed away and sanity left me for a while. About 8 months later I realized I was back at the beginning. It has taken me this long to get the determination back to get it done. I am in it for the long haul at this point!
    Bring on 2015!

I'm HERE! I was out of pocket for a couple days. Friday I got one of those frantic calls at work. My daughter was very ill, 3 kiddos to chase, one with special needs; a birthday party for 2 of them planned for Saturday, and if that wasn't enough - she had a commitment to make a wedding cake that was due Saturday too. So, Mom to the rescue.

I did really well not licking my frosting covered fingers, or eating any of the candy that went on another cake I made for my granddaughter (Candy Land); but I failed epically at eating my meals and drinking enough water. One challenge with this program is I truly do not feel hungry so I end up skipping meals, snacks altogether. The scale fairies were kind to me the first day, but when I repeated on Saturday - I got a big fat Zero today as my reward. So - I am back on track.

    How's everyone's Sunday?

Hi, Therea, glad to see we didn't lose you (just misplaced you for a few days) Sounds like you have been busy and good for you for holding out on the finger licking goodies. Although not eating sounds like a good way to lose more weight, I think this part of the protocol must be cut to the bone so we may need a certain amount of food to keep our bodies from going into fat hoarding mode. Maybe if you looked at is like medicine that has to be administered for the protocol it would be easier to make yourself schedule some meals. Not gaining today is good, eat today and have a nice loss tomorrow.

Cutombuilder, would love to give you some motivation, what can I do to help? Don't give up, just pull up your socks and keep going, you can take back off the few extra pounds now and add some more to them if you take you hcg and eat p2 for a few more days, then you will have invested so much time and effort you won't want to give up. Now you know what happens if you slip off plan, I bet you will keep after the rest of us to stay on plan all the way to p3. ps. glad you came back!

Jumping in here! Hope that is ok. I have around 100 pounds total to lose. I lost quite a bit on HCG 3 years ago, stabilized well...never did more rounds to get to my goal weight...I was feeling pretty awesome at my new lower weight. Stayed at that weight fir over 1.5 years....but slowly regained - eating the things that dont agree with my - wheat!...then this year i have several injuries, one more serious, and I am waiting for surgery now...but my weight has shot back up....mostly just not caring, being in pain, needing to eat easy food, and here I am.
I am on VLCD 10...feels like much longer! :-/. Planning to do a long round, with a PI and then a few more rounds, hopefully this time keeping my motivation high and keep doing rounds to get to my goal weight. And then keeping a more close watch, and do corrections as needed to keeping from getting back to this point again. Sigh.
Hope to check in here often to keep my motivation high...thanks everyone for sharing their success stories, and their goals! Thanks!

    Hello Ladies!

Tomorrow is day 21 for me. When I did this program a few years ago, this would have been my end date and I would have been counting down to it for the past week. This time I am doing a 42 day round and am pretty excited at this point. I expected to want to bail out and stop at 25-30 days; but I am still feeling very motivated. I have not lost as fast as I hoped; however - there is no other program that I would be at over 14 pounds off at this point. In fact on WW it would have taken me 3 months rather than 3 weeks.

I had a crazy couple of days, but feel good that I am back on track today.

How do you all feel about popping in each day and posting where you are at? I like the accountability. I know we all have busy lives, but I will definitely give it a good try

How is everyone doing on their round? I had a few hiccups starting , so my first LCD was oct 9. Lost then stalled and now a small gain. 212 after loading to 205.8 and then up to 206 today. Popcorn. Not on protocol. When will I learn? Read a book by Kathleen Barnes I think and se used it as a sub for grissini. Doesn't work for me. At all. Ok.it is so hard to keep motivated as every time I have a loss part of my brain says, yep now you are just 10 pounds away from where you left off with Hcg 7 weeks ago Ugg. It's a new day on on to losses.should be seeing onederland this week I hope.

    Hi,
Tapatalk is great. Really easy to use on the iPad.

It took me decades to lose my weight. Low carb most of the time. Exercise 6 days a week. I go to WW weekly for accountability which helps me maintain loses. I've been going since 2010. I spent many years in Overeaters Anonymous which helped me learn to stick to a food plan.

    Good luck with your goals!

Count me in too, Theresa, I like the idea of checking in everyday even if it I only have time for a quick report. Anything to help keep that motivation going. As such my loss today was .8 for a total of 21 lbs. in 14 days VLC.

WOW! DW - You are trending like my friend here at work! Great Job.

I am down .8 today and HOPING that tomorrow brings a new starting number, love when the tens change. As of today - I am at 230. This is day 21 and my total loss so far is 15lbs. My all day no food or water for Friday and Saturday gave me a big goose egg for Sunday Morning, but I am feeling great about where I am halfway through. My goal is 25lbs in 42 days and it really feels do-able.

Has anyone else set a small goal for the round as well as an overall goal?

I like having smaller steps to hit. After all..... How do you eat an elephant? (One bite at a time )

    Stay Strong Ladies!!!
