Keep you fingers crossed that I can get him his meds this week and get him into a group home! Keep us posted on your health and the next round. I am hoping to get on round 2 in late April.
Shea I will lift you all in prayer. I know just what you mean I have that habit also. I just always say its the Pisces in me. Most Pisces are sensitive and have a big heart although I have a sister who is 2 days and one year yoounger than me who is the contradiction. My son is a Pisces and is the same way. His birthday is 6 days after mine. He's a very giving soul and has been burnt several times trying to help others.

    Hi all,

Got back from Disneyland last night, happy to say I weigh exactly the same as the day I left, 0.8# below LIW! I stuck to protocol during the trip and many of the restaurants accommodated my requests. Plus, there is a convenience store where I bought hardboiled eggs, a pizza place that also had a nice salad bar, so I had salads there daily. Interesting that despite all the walking, I didn't feel hungry. Drank all my water (pretty expensive there, by the way) and of course the walking helped. It's nice to be back home and away from all the crowds at Disney!

Shea, congrats on getting 32# off! I'll try to catch up on everyone's updates later this week, I have a lot of laundry and errands/appts today, but I hope everyone's doing well!!

Im hoping this thread is still alive! I am on VLCD 2 and really could use the support of folks like you. You "get" me without me even having to explain things - the uncomfortableness in my own skin, countless attemtps at losing, tired of being tired, etc - I was born into this "family". Please let me know if anyone is still active in here! PLEASE BE ACTIVE!

Welcome Cwrayvoa! Yes we are still going here. I am close to ending my round 1 Phase 2. It has been a long 38 days but it is well worth it indeed. Only a few more days left until P3! Hoping to have a good loss in the am!

Hi, everyone, sorry to be gone for a few days, just trying to catch up on a few things I let slide while trying to focus on p2. Let me catch up with everyone.

Shea 32 lbs is awesome, good for you. Do keep checking in when you go on p3 and we can always share information and then we will be here again when we are ready for our next rounds. I do know what you mean about being able to move easier at the weight we have lost so far. It feels so good. And I just bought a couple pair of size 16 jeans down from 3X and that feels wonderful too. It is very kind of you to try and help Austin and Zoe--just don't forget to take care of yourself while doing this, I think care giver types tend to neglect self care while doing for others.

Pinkita welcome back, and congrats on stabilizing so well and while traveling. You worked at it and deserve the fruits of your efforts. As Dorothy said "there is no place like home". When you get settled in tell us some things about your time in Disneyland, what you did, saw and what was the very best part.

Cwrayvoa welcome, we are here and post fairly often, just keep checking in and let us know how you are doing and any questions or problems you are having and we will do our best for you. Just checking in and posting your loses each day helps to keep motivated. At least is does for me.

AFM I am in week 2 of p3 and stabilizing fairly well. My doctor diagnosed me with Achilles tendinitis for the sore heel that has made walking so difficult and prescribed massive amounts of ibuprofen to get rid of the infulamation-- just as I was entering p3 then I started to have a slow creep up of weight and I couldn't understand why as I was being very careful about what I was introducing. The only thing different than my last p3 was the ibuprofen, then I read the label on the bottle. Can you believe the 2nd inactive ingredient is corn starch? I couldn't and corn starch is super high in carbs as well as causing other corn related issues. So I quit taking the ibuprofen and back to a hurting heel, sigh, also a lesson on reading all labels, I am usually so good about that but it didn't occur to me that there would be a problem with something used for medicine and it might have been ok in p4 or in smaller amounts. But my weight has slowly dropped back down into my safety zone since I stopped taking it so I will have to figure out something else but I am not going to chance it until I have stabilized at my LIW. Dr S says that adding fats and carbs (starches) in p3 "things are very liable to get out of hand. This has to be observed very carefully during the first 3 weeks after the treatment is ended otherwise disappointments are almost sure to occur." I feel lucky that I figured out what the problem was before I had gained beyond my 2 lb safety zone but lesson learned about hidden additives.

Welcome cwrayvoa, I can identify and I am sending wishes your way for a successful journey. Unfortunately, I just ended and unsuccessful round and will try to get back on board within 2-3 weeks. I have to lose 50+ lbs and a lot of inches to feel really good so I will be on here until the end.

DeepWaters go online to the MendMeShop.com and see the item they have for plantar issues. I just recently ordered the item for my wrist and shoulder they have which has worked so well for someone else I know. The good thing is you can use it for 6 weeks and if you feel it doesn't work the way you want you return it and they refund your money no questions asked.

Hello all. I have decided to extend my round to 48 days. I got a few extra injections. I have a few catch up days due to steroid injections which I ate 850 cal and gained a few lbs. I am down 34lbs total and am trying to hit that magical number of 40. We will see. I am looking forward to P3 though. Just ordered some almond and coconut flour I cant wait to make a veggie pizza! I think I will have a false loss tomorrow due to me having a tummy virus. I can't hold much down. Even had a sugar free jello and chicken broth and up they came! Sipping some water with lemon and a small amount of Canada Dry. Hope you guys are hanging in there. How are the new comers doing on P2?

Hi everyone! I am loading tomorrow. I am 5''8" and 210 lbs. I should lose about 50-60 lbs so I for in this group.
I have tried hcg drops quite a few years ago and lost about 25 lbs. if course I was much lighter then.
But didn't follow P3 and gained some back.
However I have gained about 35-40 of these lbs just in the last 6-7 months. Ugh. I'm at the highest weight ever- even when u was pregnant with my youngest child.
So I ordered injections from USHCG injections. They came today and I plan on loading starting tomorrow. I think I'll take the advice on here and take measurements and photos before VLCD1. That should help to motivate me!
I would love to be a part of your group for the support and accountabilIty. You ladies are great! And I have enjoyed reading all your posts 😊

It's me! Took my first injection on load day number 1 of 2!
Mixed 10cc into a 5000u bottle of powdered Hcg. Figured I would start my dose at 150u so I injected .3cc.
For breakfast I had 2 dippy eggs fried in coconut oil and a couple pieces bacon. Coffee with sugar and cream.
I weighed myself 207.2lbs before load. And I'm going to measure myself- I think on VLCD1. That way I'll get the most accurate measurements before I begin to lose. And I'll take my picture too. My scale breaks down my weight into %body fat, %TBW and %muscle. Not sure how accurate it it but maybe it will give me some ball park figures on whether or not I'm losing fat or god forbid, muscle! I don't want to lose that.
    How is everyone today?

Hello. Happy loading days to you and welcome. I made the mistake of not measuring before so I would highly recommend you keep up with that sometimes when you are not loosing lbs you are loosing inches. My only suggestion for load days is be careful on too much sugar it is terrible coming off it the first week and makes the withdrawls so much harder. After you get past the 2 weeks mark it the VLC diet becomes easier but the mental part for me was throughout the diet until the last week of a long round. I am now on day 2 of P3. I lost 36lbs on my first round and plan to be back at it in 6 weeks. Good luck to you.
