    Aussie buddies

    Hi all,

I am hoping to have some buddies who can share experience and to support each other. This is my first round and am on P2VLCD2. I noticed that the previous Aussie thread has ended and thought maybe I can start a new one. Anyone out there who'd like to join?

So I guess I'll be the only Aussie here, lol. Anyway just wanted to update on my journey. Am on vlcd4 today, weighed in this morning with a loss of 400g. Have been walking for 30 mins for the last two days. Did a 20 minute low impact and low intensity circuit training, and a relaxing 30 minute walk. So far have lost 1.1kg pre-loading weight.

Had a tiny loss of 100g this morning as expected as a result of muscle soreness. Took a detox bath just now and hopefully muscle soreness would subside tomorrow. Experimented with protein shake, we'll see what the scale says tomorrow.

Another loss of 300g today. No exercise today. Changed to patch today and see how it goes. Much more convenient but we'll see. Slept badly last night. Very tired today...

Tiny loss of 100g today, but not as tired as the past two days. So no fruit or protein shake today just to see if the scale will be kinder to me tomorrow.

Gained 100g this morning, but have lost 2.3 inches off waist and 1inch off hips. Can't complain
Went to the gym for a quick lower body workout, nothing too strenuous. Didn't sleep well again last night

I'm not Aussie, nor am I doing a round right now, but I just wanted to encourage you.

Generally when you change methods, you overlap them for a couple days. Your body might be catching up to the new format right now. You've gotten some pretty great inch loss though! I've not ever noticed that HCG worked any better when I ate less than the 500 calories allowed, so I find it pointless to cut them out or try and manipulate the diet items.

But if you are not hungry, you're probably going to be fine. Most things level out. All the best!

Hi Leez, thanks for your encouragement and support. It's a nice change to someone else besides me here. I really don't care so much about having Aussies or non- Aussies on this thread, everyone's welcomed. Just thought that if there's someone out there who might want a buddy, they can join me. I actually did overlap the two methods and will totally not take the drops today and see what happens. Thanks again Leez

    Yay for me today!

Only lost 100g yesterday but went down 500g today VLCD9, so no complaints
I expected the slow loss anyway from having read the previous Aussie thread. Not sleeping well, not sure if it's the patches or just my stress hormone due to the low caloric intake. Going to mini golf today replaced lunch with protein shake & frozen strawberries yesterday. Will try it for another few days to see how that pans out.

Lost another 200g and am proud of myself for sticking to the diet. Watched hubby and daughter eat IKEA meatballs, fries, and fried squid. That was tough. Good thing I brought my protein shake with me!

Great report! Ouch...that would be hard. Those IKEA meatballs are awesome.

If you continue to have anxiety, you might try some GABA. I've found that it really calms anxiousness for me and works within about 20 minutes.

    Wink

Hey Leez, nice to see you're still around, lol. How are you doing?
Yes, I am a nerd and have tried GABA, tryptophan, have been taking 5-htp which helps me better than melatonin. I might try gaba again on Friday night because the last time I tried it I had the same problem. Can't afford that on a week day, in case I can't sleep. Could be hormones

I went to see my GP on Friday to ask her to prescribe me HCG injections. Brought the information which I printed out from the pharmacy's website. She looked at it briefly and said that she's not comfortable prescribing, blah blah blah, so I said no problem, doesn't hurt to ask. When I left I told her to keep the printout just in case she wants to read it one day. Guess what? She called me today to say that she read it and found it REALLY interesting so she called the pharmacist and had a long talk about it. Asked me if I would like to see this Friday to have a chat. Wow! I was surprised that she read it! We'll see what happens
