Today marks the start of R2P1 for me.

Current weight is 115.3 (254.19lbs). The way I figure it, if I haven't stabilised on P3 then rather than put up with further BS P4 weight gains and lose the progress I have made I may as well do another round early and get rid of more fat while I'm at it.

I bought Haylie Pomroy's Fast Metabolism Diet book on Kindle yesterday, but I haven't started to read it yet. Thanks to LynneR and Kansas for suggesting it

@Ima congrats on getting to P3. You've done it before successfully and your journey so far has been amazing. You're truly an inspiration.

I won't post my loading days food consumption but I'll be back in a couple of days with my usual happy and positive spin on Phase 2 and expound on my deep affection for red apples

Oh, BTW, I have a spreadsheet for my FMD week. It is organized by day/phase and meal or snack. Really it is just 3 days of planning, because you can repeat the P1 for 2 days, P2 for 2 days, P3 for 3 days.

Anyway, the hardest part of FMD is getting your mind around the different foods on different phases, and what you have to shop for and cook. So my spreadsheet may make it easier for you to organize your thoughts, as you can go into it and replace the foods I like, with the foods YOU like. SOOOO, if you would like a copy of my spreadsheet, PM me with your email address and I will send it to you.

Thanks for the offer Lynne, most appreciated

I'm on day 2 of Round 2, Phase 2 and I'm getting closer to my LDW from Round 1 which is a relief

Yesterday morning, after the loading days I weighed 114.7kg (252.87lbs), this morning I weighed 112.6 (248.24lbs) which I thought was a pretty big drop.

I'm doing 43 days of Phase 2, so hopefully that will see me hit my "public" target weight of 100kg and then surpass it and get close to my actual target of around 85-ishkg

Then of course, I have to stabilise. FMD sounds great for that, so I'll give it a try.

Hey Mojo, it's nice to be back to the certainties of P2, huh? How are the red apples?

Thank god I go home tomorrow.... I'm afraid I have completely ruined my P3, too much food with sugar in it ( birthday cheesecake) and several binges worth of cashews. I am not gonna weigh when I get home tomorrow, not for at least 2 days, because I know at least some of it will be water weight and salt consumption.

The hard part is that in P3 there is no actual "getting back on the wagon" . The aim is increasing calories, to a normal level and avoiding sugar and starches. If I have gained over the last few days, I am not sure how to lose it again and still be able to reset my metabolism.

Oh well, what's done is done, I will make the best of it and it will be what it will be.

Good luck with your P2, Mojo. I expect to read about spectacular losses! Keep focused....

I messed up my P3 with 2 pieces of pie, so I agree there is no getting back on the wagon. I had been maintaining at 2 lbs over LDW, then the pie, then I gained 6 lbs over the remainer of P3 which was only a week or so. Going right into FMD as P4 has helped me so far in that rather than continuing to gain, I lost 2 lbs starting the first day (probably water). Now I am on my last day, 4th week of FMD and am down 6 lbs total. I even ate 2 pieces of sprouted wheat bread last night, and did not have a gain from it. The food is totally NOT mainstream, but it is all tasty and healthful. I seem to be very stable on FMD, and that is possibly because of hcg, but I am not sure. I know Gr8gma had stabilized so well on P3 hcg, that when she did FMD she saw her weight go down a couple lbs, then right back up to her LIW. So I am hoping FMD stabilized me, in spite of the massive amounts of carbs. That seems to be what happened, as I am actually at the same weight where I had almost stabilized on hcg before the pie.

I think the idea of FMD, in addition to fixing the metabolism, is behavior modification for doing most of your eating at home, cooking using whole foods, varying your veggies and including plentiful amounts of nutritious grains, fruits, and lots of veggies. Plentiful amounts of what-she-calls-healthy fats are fine, but only on days where carbs are somewhat limited.

Or, you could try a steak day when you get back. Steak days don't work well for me, which I think is due to my gains being mostly inflamation. Hoping you are not up too much!

    Thanks Ima

According to the bathroom scales this morning (VLC day 3) I lost another 900g (1.98lbs) so P2 appears to be working as it should.

That's a bummer about your gains, but Lynne is right, a steak day just might help out. I had some success with it during those pesky P3 gains.

Gotta watch those cashews I know exactly how you feel.

OK I'm officially back on HCG Day 1 today of round 3. It feels sort of comforting to know exactly what I will and won't be eating - like I have control again. Just filled the fridge with asparagus, Swiss chard and cabbage. 41 days to go.....

Very Low Calorie Day 5 for me - 38 days to go

According to the bathroom scales I'm down another 900g (1.98lbs) this morning. Yesterday's loss was a non-staggering 400g (0.88lbs), but every bit helps I'm not only beginning to see the losses this round, but I'm feeling them as well.

Meal-wise I'm living off those amazing red apples, beef steak with homemade salsa and chicken with either cabbage or lettuce. I know it all sounds a bit bland, but it's not - the prescribed herbs and spices can and do make a simple meal taste really good.

Good job Mojo! It's amazing how we can make the food taste. I think I have become a much better cook on hcg.

Mojo- wow, great losses already! Good work! I agree it is not that hard to make good tasting food on P2, for me it's just a matter of getting into the zone and staying there.

Lynne- like you, I have definitely become a better cook since I started with HCG. I am more creative and much more interested in making healthy meals, not just filling up on crap!

Tiah- how are you going with P2? Did you end up getting a script?

AFM - I am doing ok, a little higher weight than I would like but not as bad as it might have been, given what I ate over last weekend. Since I got home , I have been trying to eat sensibly, healthy, lots of water, low carbs , no sugar and I am resisting the urge to actually "diet". When I am home, it's so easy to eat properly. Lucky for me, there are no major temptations in my future, so I have no excuses.

I am reading the posts each day but not writing much at th moment, it's time to get back to just living life and not spending it obsessing over weight loss or gain. But I will still be around....

    Good luck everyone!
