Eugene that is amazing, so happy for you! Keep it up!

I refuse to weigh for the next few days, I ate the most disgusting amount of junk food yesterday and today with my friends because I wanted to feel normal and sociable for once and plus I forgot my drops...
I'm going to treat it as a second loading and get back on protocol tomorrow and finish the last twelve days of VLCD I had to go. That should be okay right? Although it'll take a few days to correct the gain from today (eek!)

Definitely think my body has an issue with dairy, ate chocolate and ice cream and felt SO sick for the rest of the night. Must eat that in moderation on P3!

Last weigh-in on VLCD11 I was 71.4 down from the original 76kgs...new goal is 68!

Also lost 8cms off my chest, 5cms off my waist, 5cms off my hips....only a cm off the thighs but those must be last to go! Body shaping continues into P3, correct?

Little nervous about P3 in Bali and totally screwing everything up. Tips? I do plan on being very drunk for the entire week, not going to lie.
    original weight may '11 - 88.5kgs
lost 12kgs on weight watchers during may-oct 2011
    weight before HCG - 76.1kgs
    finishing weight VLCD21 - 67.5kgs
NOW: 6 months of personal training = approx +5kgs muscle
    post-loading weight r2: 86.9kgs
    currently: VLCD6 83.4kgs

    Hey guys,

VLCD45 for me today. my TOM has had my numbers all over the place for the last 7-10 days. Fluctuating from 99.5 to 100 to 100.2 to 100.9 etc. Thank god it wasn't too high but i was getting frustrated. So after doing some research I had a cheat meal on Saturday night (gaining 900g from 100 to 100.9) i was sort of hoping it would kick my body in the butt and shock it. then yesterday I had a rogue p2 steak day (as opposed to an apple day). This morning I was down 1 kilo to 99.9k which is the lowest I have been in over a week. I am hoping for a huge whoosh once my TOM has gone.... fingers crossed. I am intending to do some high protein days during the week and I have been adding a little more lean protein to my diet to see if that helps.

i really want to start using some protein powder as i love shakes and it would be nice for a little more variety. anyone know some good whey protein isolate shakes that are low in carbs/calories and sugar and don't contain crap like soy etc. I am thinking the No Bull Whey Protein Isolate might be the way to go but I am not sure.

I hope you all are going well.

I am so glad things went well for you on your bike ride Eugene! I knew you would!

Jacks, I am so glad to hear from you. The board has been kind of quiet so I haven't really been posting every day.

J0rdannnn: best thing to do when you fall of the horse is get right back on. I felt incredibly sick too when I had my cheat meal. it's funny as it changed my way of thinking because since I am on day 45 and on my TOM I started to fantasize/crave/miss certain junk foods. those things i loved and craved a few days ago don't hold so much power over me now because I had some of them on my cheat meal and they made me vomit.

Anyway y'all, i hope you have a great evening and a even greater week.

    big losses to us all!!!!

    Hi Jordan,

Your post allways leave me a little puzzled, it seems you have trouble sticking to this for any lenght of time, not having a go at you, just making an observation, this diet is not like any other out there, you are not on a restricted cal which you can chop and change at your will, you are taking a hormone which alters the way your body works, if you mess with it, it will bite you.

Maybe you would be better off staying off diet until after your trip + a few weeks and decide if you are ready to do the MINIMUM 26 days without a break, you cant stop and start, it doesnt work like that, it is hard work, you will have to suffer, but you want the benifits, so you must be prepaired to work for them, anything less is being lazy and weak willed.

Sorry to be harsh, but someone needs to say it.

As for eating Chocolate and ice cream, why on earth eat them, maybe 2 of the worst things you can eat EVER at any stage of weight loss, let alone P2 of HCG.

Tips for Bali, nt much to say really, getting drunk and trying to stay on a diet does not work, just do as you wish, come home, have along hard look at where you want to be in a few months from now and decide if you are up for the work, suffering and results HCG will bring, if not walk away, if you are ready, have a 4 week clean eating break from HCG, then start again, to the letter of the law, no half *** attempts, it is the only way.

You may be offended by the above, if so, sorry, but your a big boy, you need to hear the truth, you came and asked for advice, I am giving it, weather you choose to listen is up to you.

Hey guys VLCD 46 went well - I am back with a vengeance. I was down 600g to 99.3k which is my lowest so far. I am down 1.6k in 2 day. [Bonnie kneels to pray] Come on big guy, give me another loss over night.

I will keep up with my slightly larger protein portions and see how the next few days go. My adjustment of the pellets have been helpful for TOM cravings. I really hope that once TOM ends that Mr or Mrs Whoosh Fairy pay me a visit!!

I ordered a whey protein isolate on ebay so hopefully I will get that in a few days and I can incorporate a shake here and there when I am not so hungry but want to get down some protein. the one i finally chose has the lowest carbs and sugar i could find as well as the highest amount of lean protein. the brand is Real Nutrition and it is WPI90.

Jordan: take Eugene's advice. There is seriously no use doing this type of diet unless you are willing to give it your all. The only reason I am deviating slightly is because I am on day 46 of an extremely long round which might go up and beyond 100 + days, I am not sure yet - i'm taking it day by day. I followed the diet almost to the letter in the beginning - Jackie and Eugene can attest to this! This diet is not a forgiving one so any cheat or deviation will set you back days. Do you really want to waste your 23 days by messing around. Do it by the book and then after you stabilize hopefully you will never have to do it again. I have 100lbs+ I want to lose (approx 48kg) and would kill to be in your position and so close to your goal.

I hope you are all having a great week and the fat fairy is taking many kilos/pounds and inches from your unwanted areas

    Chat soon,

    x Bon

Hi everyone, I'm a fellow Aussie who is completely new to the HCG diet. I learned about it a couple of weeks ago, and when I first heard about it I was really skeptical, in fact I bagged it out on another forum (all I knew then is that you eat only 500calories a day, and I was like WTH???). But still, I did some reading and research, and suddenly it all made sense (well duh if you're releasing lots of calories of fat each day, then you only NEED to eat 500Calories a day). So yeah, I pretty much did a full 180 on it, and ordered some hHCG. I do wish I'd done more research on that before buying though... because now I see you can get cheaper drops, or make your own from proper HCG... oh well, live and learn.

I have about 19kg to lose all up to get to my goal weight (a few kg less will get me to the upper end of the healthy weight range, but even at the lower end of the healthy weight range I've always had a bit of chubbiness so I'm aiming for a BMI of 20 to 22).

Anyway, I think I'll be getting the drops today (fingers crossed...they're being tracked and I just found out they've reached Melbourne this morning) which means I need to get ready to start tomorrow with the first load day *gulp*. I think I will end up eating lots of cheese... I'm a veg and don't eat any meat so fatty meat is out!

I am unsure of whether I should do two separate 23 day rounds, or do one round of twice that long?? I'm getting enough drops for two rounds. Well we shall see...

I would like to wear normal summer clothes this summer instead of covering myself in long pants even when it's really hot and avoiding bathers full stop!!!

VLCD47 and I am down another 600g today to my lowest of low 98.7k. Yay. That is 2.2kgs in 3 days I have lost!

Did a steak day today to see what happens tomorrow. I am enjoying doing some experiments (on or within protocol guidelines sort of ) to see how my body and fat loss reacts to certain foods and what combos yield me the best losses.

I saw a friend I haven't seen in about 3 weeks and she couldn't believe how much smaller I looked. She said she wouldn't have guessed my weight if I didn't tell her as she says I look about 10-15k lighter than I am. She really made me feel good about myself. She told me how proud she is of me.

It is kind of funny, this girl, who I haven't known for very long is more outspoken about my progress than my mother is. I love my mother and she usually is my biggest cheerleader but I feel she is sort of poo pooing on me a bit since I began the hCG Diet. Whenever I mention that someone made a positive comment about my progress she makes some sort of comment that 'you still have a long way to go' kind of putting me down - she doesn't say it in a nasty way or anything. I am guessing it is either that she is just being cautious because of the extremes of the diet or she might be a little jealous because I am getting results. She lost a bit of weight a few years ago and maintained at about 65k but now because of a knee problem she is up to 75-80 and she says she wants to lose about 20k. I told her about this diet but she says she wouldn't be able to do it.

Anyway, I believe I am catching up to you Eugene, I should hopefully be overtaking you soon fingers crossed.

Jackie, are you there? What is going on with you girl??

Welcome Ahri. Make sure you load well. Eat anything and everything you can get your hands on for the 2 days, it really will help. With regard to 23 or 40 days. I will say start with 23 and once you get there you might find that you are in the zone and you feel great about continuing. I always knew I would do a 40 P2 but I feel so good that I decided to do an extra long round. Good luck!

I hope you all had a good day.

    Hello Everyone

Well today was my final day of HCG!! I did 21 (+2 days VLCD) days then a 13 day Planned Interruption followed by a final 10 days back on HCG!
Ladies and Gentlemen the results are in......63.2kgs!! Yay, lowest weight recorded and my lowest weight in 10 years!!

Strange thing is is that yesterday I ate masses - ate a lot more protein and my calories were up to around 750, yet I had one of my biggest losses! You gotta love HCG - I shall miss it!
So Saturday will begin P3 and I hope to God I don't f...k it up! I really am going to take it slowly, I love being this weight and do not want to put ANY back on.

Welcome Ahri, sound advice from Bon - see how you go with the 23 days and take it from there.

Jordan - Not sure if you're having a laugh with all of us but you really don't seem to have a clue about this diet or what it entails! Eugene's advice was spot on and seriously kid if you don't want to follow this protocol you don't have to. You're dealing with hormones here that cannot be messed around with.
If you just want to faff around try WW.

Hey Bonny Girl - WTG Girlfriend!! Thrilled for you, your hard work is coming through now. You must feel fab.
Don't worry about your MUm, I reckon there's probably a teensy weensy bit of jealousy going on there. Although they don't mean it some people will like to see
you as the bigger girl! She'll come round as she gets used to seeing the new beautiful you!!

    That's all for now....roll on P3 xx

Hi all and thanks for the welcome. Well my hcg drops arrived today YAY so I'm gearing up to pig out tomorrow and Friday lol. Not sure how I will go . BUT if it's what's needed, then I can do it!! I have been doing Bodytrim and haven't let myself have much bad food lately, so it should be interesting to say the least!

I will weigh and measure myself in the morning so I've got a solid starting point to work with.

  9. #1101
Starting today! YAY! I felt like such a piggy in the supermarket buying all this fatty stuff to eat. And now, after having had a big bowl of full fat yoghurt, I'm not all that motivated to chow down on anything else!! I tell myself I should be making the most of it Funny how that works!!

Oh, and is there some rule about signatures?? I added one and it appears to work when I check my settings, but isn't showing up here! I wondered if maybe you were supposed to have a particular minimum post count or something first.

Um that's not even close to what I was implying with my original post. I was asking for some suggestions as to what to eat out when on Phase 3 as I clearly won't be home and will be out all the time, and if there were any lighter-carb asian foods and low-sugar alcohol choices any of you could suggest. My 'going to be drunk' comment was clearly a joke.

The fact that several of you interpreted it as me being 'lazy' on this diet is incredibly insulting, I screwed up one day just so I could be sociable and hopped back on the horse the next day. There is nothing wrong with that, we all slip up and I rectified the gain two days later. I'm definitely not the only one who has ever slipped up.

The 'Go try WW' comment is particularly hilarious seeing as I lost 15kgs the hard way ON weight watchers, and this is just for those last few kilos stuck in the bad places. This isn't a 'lifestyle change' for me, I'm in the normal weight range, I just need the body shaping benefits because a previous hormonal imbalance meant I ended up with strange deposits of fat in abnormal places. My doctor suggested this. I already eat incredibly healthily, exercise regularly, and my lifestyle was basically P4 before HCG. I'm not clueless or reckless, thanks.

Making assumptions is incredibly silly, think I could do without the negativity. I get the general anti Gen-Y attitude is prominent in this age group but for a forum full of people looking for positivity and answers, not ill-informed condescending opinions, it's just counterproductive.

Enjoy guys, good luck, I'm out.

Joradan - I certainly was not having a go with 'y-gen' and apologies if you found my comments insulting. I
I wish you all the best on your weight loss journey and congrats on your losses so far.

Ahri - enjoy your loading days and remember to really up the good fats - they will stand you in good stead for your first few days of P2 and keep hunger at bay!

AFM - Down .5kgs this morning which gives me a nice buffer as I enter P3 tomorrow - eeks! So at my lowest today at 62.7, my goal doesn't seem so far away now and hopefully can get there during P3 and P4.

How are you Eugene and Bon - long time no here, We miss you!!

Jacks: i was just on here two days ago, like you lol - congrats on your loss today. Isn't it nice when you get a loss. I love seeing the numbers decline. YAY.

VLCD 49: Today I am down 400g to 98.4kg. YAYYYYYYY. (Yesterday i was up 100g -thank god TOM ended yesterday )

Jordan: sorry if you took offense to our posts but I believe we did come from a good and caring place. It might have came across as preachy and judgmental so sorry. I really wish you good luck with your re-shaping. I hope you have a wonderful holiday!

Ahri: with the signature, you need to make sure you have ticked the 'Show your signature' box which is left below the quick reply box. If it still doesn't work you should check your settings to make sure the correct ones are selected. Let us know if there are any problems. How is your VLCD going? or are you still loading??
