I am on VLCD12 and down 13lbs! Yesterday I had the HCG flu and kinda feeling it today. I will be skipping my dose today as I think my injections weren't measured properly. Hoping to have more energy by tomorrow.

What is everyone's favorite hcg meal? Mine is shrimp and cabbage :-P
Wow congratulations!!! I usually don't get those kinds of awesome results lol I end up averaging .5lbs a day. What's your dose at the moment? I'm on 150iu to start with, I usually end up at 130iu at the end of the 42 days.

I really like lean ground beef and cabbage with some beef broth and mustard, I haven't thought of putting shrimp and cabbage together lol I'll have to try it. Yesterday I had lean ground sauteed with a little beef broth and some onions and a clove of pureed garlic it was really yummy. I grilled some chicken breast on my little George Foreman grill for dinner. The G.F. grill is essential for me in P2 as I can cook the meat without any fat and it doesn't stick, and it comes out nice and juicy.

Well yesterday I was very strict sticking to the protocol and I drank 70oz of water and got great results this morning, -2.2lbs!! I tried updating my ticker and for some reason it's not working I'm at 3.4lbs lost in 2 days. I usually lose about 7lbs in the first week so I'm hoping to maybe beat that record by being very strict with my food choices.

I only took Advil once yesterday morning for the sugar-withdrawal headaches, and this morning I only have a tiny bit of headache left!! I wasn't able to test my fasting blood sugar as I had an early vet appointment for my dog this morning, I kind of got up at the last minute.

So I have a couple of items I wanted to share! One is that my weight loss clinic recommends taking calcium pyruvate during P2 as an additional fat burner, supposedly it revs up your metabolism. They recommend 2000-2500mg once a day at breakfast. I found some at Vitacost that wasn't too expensive and they often have a 2 for 1 sale on their store brand of supplements, I got 2 bottles for $14. Anyway, something to consider.

Second is I bought these HCG-safe seasoning blends online from Little Choices Matter. Their parent company sells homeopathic HCG drops (I forget the brand) Anyway I got their set of 6 blends and I use them a lot even when I'm not in P2, it takes the guesswork out of seasoning my food. All of their products are for HCG protocols but they don't mention 'HCG' anywhere on the site. I'm waiting for their next sale to get the MCT oil mister (they often have 20% off coupons during holidays) Also, Simple Girl makes HCG safe spice blends, vinaigrettes and barbecue sauces but they are a more expensive (you can get them on Amazon). Their Louisiana Hot and Sweet blend is my go-to for grilling chicken. All of their stuff is also sweetened with Stevia, no artificial sweeteners. I find these help a lot when you're doing a long round and you save money vs. buying all the spices separately.

    Thumbs up 4.6lbs down VCLD4

Hi December droppers, well it's VCLD4 for me and -1.2lbs this morning for a total of 4.6lbs!! being very strict POP is paying off. I'm hoping to get 8lbs off this first week (that would include the morning weight for VCLD8) I've gone rogue in the past with mediocre results, this time is strict.

My fasting blood sugar was 92 this morning. 20 points down from before I started I'm very excited about that (also a bit bummed that sugar, grains and dairy have that effect on my blood sugar, boo). I've run out of apples and grapefruit, lean beef and chicken so it will be a grocery store run today, I hate shopping for food on P2

No headache yesterday and very little hunger I only ate dinner at 7pm, HCG nirvana is getting here . I'm using a vial of Ovidac while waiting for my NewEdge kit to arrive but that Ovidac is pretty good stuff I have to say. I'm always a bit worried with imported HCG, I've had vials of another brand in the past that weren't potent enough and I couldn't get my dose right, they barely turned a pregnancy test positive (I always test my HCG with a dollar store preggo test when I mix up a batch). Now I just get the Ovidac brand and it's been good. I do find the american HCG to be more potent though, the problem is that their expiry date on the vial is like 3 months from when you get it and I can't afford $500 so I have to wait until they're on sale like the kit I just bought from a Black Friday sale. Plus you don't get the choice of needles, I like the half inch 30 gauge .5ml ones because I mix my HCG with 10ml bac sodium chloride. I'll stop complaining

Oh I saw on hcgchica that ushcgshots are having a sale right now if anyone needs HCG, B12 or lipo shots.

Great report, milana. I've used Odivac and I liked it too.

    Hello December Droppers!

It's P2D6 and I am down 6.6 pounds, which is good for me. I would love to join your group. It would be great to be a part of a P2 group since this phase has it's own joys and challenges. I use Homeopathic pellets, and really try to stay POP...I have found that gives me my best results.

However, I like to have some of my veggies when I first wake up. I find that helps my energy level.

    Best,
    RK

Hi rkthin welcome!!! We're both on the same day of P2 and you're doing great nice losses!

Well my first week is done and I lost 6.4lbs. 1lb shy of my 7lb goal for week 1, I had some problems getting enough sleep so I'll chalk it up to that Unfortunately I have no clue how much I gained during loading because I had TOM when I started my load so I stupidly decided not to weigh. Or measure. Now I regret it!!

So, I finally learned why you're not supposed to have turkey in P2. Apparently the tryptophan in turkey interferes with the resetting of your metabolism. This hasn't been 'medically proven' but neither has the HCG protocol in recent studies however it's the best explanation I've found. I have tried turkey in P2 in the past and didn't see good weight loss after. It's really too bad.

I had a really yummy recipe tonight for dinner, curried shrimp tomato bisque. It's very flavorful and a cinch to make; I tend to prefer highly seasoned meals in P2 to compensate for sugar withdrawal so this soup really satisfies on that level.

    3.5oz shrimp, shell removed
    2 Roma tomatoes, chopped
    1/2tsp ground cinnamon
    1/2tsp curry powder
    1/4tsp onion powder
    1/8tsp garlic powder
    1 garlic clove, minced
    1/2cup low sodium chicken broth
    himalayan salt to taste

Saute garlic and spices on med heat for a minute. Add half of the chicken broth and stir. Add chopped tomatoes and let it cook down for 3-4 minutes. Add the rest of the chicken broth and salt, cover and simmer until tomatoes have broken down, about 10 minutes. Add shrimp and let it simmer again until shrimp are cooked (or hot if using precooked shrimp) for me that was about another 10 minutes.

Thanks Leez! Yes I think it's a couple of dollars more a vial than other brands but for me it's proven to be reliable. My New Edge kit came in on Thursday but I'm sticking with the Ovidac until it loses potency.
I don't understand why the expiry dates are so close with US-made HCG, when the vials you get overseas are often good for at least a year. Does the imported stuff use a special preservative? If the US-made HCG is freeze-dried the same way and compounded on demand, seems to me it should not expire a couple of months from when you receive it.

Can I join in this group? I need some support, motivation, and accountability! I am in R2P2 and I am much hungrier than I was in R1P2. The past few days I have not stuck to protocol. Mostly my cheats are spoonfuls of almond butter, so I'm not going out and eating pizza or cake or anything, but still I'm sabotaging myself. I am in P2 until December 21st. I really only have 7 lbs or so to lose, and I understand it gets pretty hard when you're getting so close to goal. I was hoping to get down to 128, but I'm losing hope that I will get there. I really need to write down a checklist of everything I need to do BEFORE eating if I feel hungry right now. That list would probably include checking to see if it's time for another dose of drops, drinking water, seeing if it's time for my next meal, having some hot herbal tea or some coffee, and then a variety of things to distract myself if I'm not actually having a physical need for drops, water, or food. I really don't know why I'm hungrier during this round, but it is frustrating. I am very close to the size I want to be, but I don't have any wiggle room. I was hoping to get down to 128 so I'd have a little leeway for small gains due to TOM, etc. I am short (just under 5'2"), so 135ish, where I am now, still means unhealthy abdominal fat, and 7 extra pounds means a lot more than it does to someone who's just a little taller than I am. I had gained 8 lbs during my previous 6 weeks of P3, but five of that came off right away during this round. But now I'm stuck and it's mostly due to my not staying on protocol. I need some support!

Looking forward for the vlcd day 1 tomorrow!😄

Hi, Sudha! I'm about 2/3rds of the way through a 25 day round which will end in one week. I've been struggling in this round, but am approaching each day as a new day. I'm on HHCG and I've read some info in the Homeopathic forum that I think will help me make the most of the last week of my round. Anyway, good luck with your VLCD day tomorrow and in the weeks after! I look forward to cheering you on! My current round is my R2. I had a pretty successful R1.
