    Hi All,
I am new to this forum and to the HCG diet, but I am already experiencing success! I am so excited that I now look forward to weighing myself in the morning I started this journey at 247, my highest non-pregnant weight ever. I am happy and proud to say that I weighed in at 236.7 this morning. I am planning on doing a short round as we leave for Mexico on 6/18, but ultimately hoping to hit 220 by leaving. We'll see. Love all of the updates and am inspired by you all every time I turn on my computer.

    Cheers,
    Sara

Well, since I lost 1.6 pounds this morning, I decided to continue my shots and tried a slightly higher dose to counter the degrading of hcg. Seems mostly ok. I am running out anyway and much prefer my new weight as my LIW.

I have a slow cooker why didnt I think of using it for p3?!?!?!?!? Geez In about eight days or so I guess I will start lining up recipes. Are you making up menus as you go along?

Yeah, I just throw in what I have on hand. learned a lesson today... Don't forget chicken in there, it gets dry and weird. Still edible, but not perfect. Wrapped chicken around asparagus, then wrapped everything with Buendnerfleisch - a beef smoked ham. Could use more taste still... need to find another beef ham with more fat, I think. Oh, and not overcook it like I did today... 11 hours instead of 5. I fell asleep.

I also wanna see what vacuumed meat in water would do in there... like a higher-temperature sous vide. I really want a sous vide, but first I need a new fridge.

Off to religious study now, then help my mom move her computer and phone, see my best friend, then take my new bike home by cab... Kind of insane to pay $70 for a cab fare, but cannot be done with public transport, and no-one else has time to schlepp the bike to me in Hamburg. I am inheriting my mom's first bike, which is a 1961 original. Just gotta fix it up, then I am all set to go. Yay!

Since I will be at the synagogue in a little while, I am curious if any of the others were detained by the police yesterday... I was lucky, but it got real ugly after I left.

I am still stabilizing well, with 200g below my last weigh-in. Would like to lose some more the next 6 weeks, but I do realize my body needs to get used to paleo food as well.

Oh, and I introduced dairy again. No ill effects yet. Cannot get raw milk here, but I got milk that hasn't been homogenized, from grass-fed cows... Pretty happy. Off to fix my first coffee! Had some on the go yesterday, but really have been off coffee for weeks... Hope I can get used to stevia for that.

    Have a great weekend!

Thank you so much. I just put the picture in my journal. I have a long way to go but that number somehow represents one of the biggest breakthroughs of my life.
