    Cupid...Glad to see another alabama girl here. I am starting on my second round of hcg. Lost 48 lbs the first round and then had major personal problems and gained 44 lbs back. So..here I go again. Hope I have as much willpower as the first go!

    How Many Big Girls Are on This Forum? Weighing Over 250 Lbs?

    Have to admit the scale and I have a mutual admiration thing going on right now. Have NEVER been so eager to get on a scale before. So instead of waiting til tomorrow and doing the weigh every other day thing, I had to go weigh today. And the scale dropped 2 more pounds. I'm down 8 total. I know the weight won't keep up this pace forever but it sure is cool while it is happening. Never happened for me on anything else I've tried.

    Hello fellow bama girl! lol. You can do this. To me this is the easiest diet I've ever been on. The key is to say NO to the things you know you can't have. LOL. Good luck. I'm official on P3 for 3 weeks now. I'm gonna try to finish my last 50 lbs with 2 short 23 day rounds. Keep in touch!

    AFM...I didn't lose NOT 1 POUND this entire week. TOM on the horizon so I'm glad to be taking a 3 week P3 before starting again on Oct 9th!

    Hi Ladies!

    Its been a while since I posted...had a friend in from out of town so I have been quite busy. Just trying to catch up on all the posts and it looks like everyone is trucking along and doing great. It has been an interesting week for me. I am a week in to round 4 and surprised and happy at how my body responded to the foods I ate over the last week. One thing I found...my feet swell like crazy if I drink red wine...even just one glass. I tried a few new things (croutons on cesar salad, crab/fish cakes, red wine, mango sorbet, kashi granola bar, FRENCH FRIES!) surprisingly I did not gain like I thought I would. The stabilization phase has deffinitely worked. Before my friend came I was 205.4 now I am 206. Not to bad if I say so myself. I plan on doing a steak day tomorrow only because I dont feel like eating after this week and I want to see if I can get a little closer to my LIW of 203. Over all I am a happy girl! One thing I know helped me...I drank water like a mad woman. This experience made me realize how amazing HCG is.

    Hi ladies, I am checking in finally got moved and am getting everything unpacked and organized in our new place. Hubby and I will be starting our 2nd round Monday doing load days Sat/Sun. Not sure how exactly I am feeling about this new round, there is a part of me that is excited because I am sure to see "onederland" but I don't know just feeling like blah about the whole thing. I am thinking because the holidays are approaching and I know there will be tons of food around and our last round was long. Might just do a 30 day round this time. I guess I should rejoice I don't have to cook 3 meals a day only 2 lol! Looking forward to my one treat on load day which is a brownie/ice cream treat they serve at Chilli's, but the borningness of Phase 2 is just getting me down already. I am going to take after pics and measurements, to do a side by side comparison will try and post if I get brave enough. What are some realistic expectations for round 2 for those that have done multiple rounds already? Well I am off to unpack another box they seem to be never ending lol....

    Enjoyed a beautiful day today. Clear skies and cooling temperatures. Seems like everything else in life just gets faster and faster. VLCD 6 and 10.2# gone. I've got to take measurements cause it seems clothes fitting a little differently. Hope everybody has a good day tomorrow. :-)

    @Histeacher - it honestly depends. I had a horrid second round, not that much for loss, but generally for not finding the right dose and constantly feeling ravished. Losses were okay, something like 17 lbs in 28 days? I don't remember exactly. Hoping that the third round, after a long, long, long break, will go smoother.

    Still hanging on to the Italy weight, but it's my own fault. I am basically doing intermittent fasting (knowing fully well that it doesn't work well for women), since I only have coffee with cream during the day, then mainly meat for dinner. Add crappy sleep to that - and yes, my added 3-4 pounds are alive and kicking. Need to up my veggies and actually get some sleep, but no chance before the weekend... work is insane.

    So for today, again the same plan - no food, just coffee - but I do have a gorgeous 14 oz steak waiting at home. It is huge, it is mine, and I will do my utmost to make it nice and juicy for dinner.

    I just put my steak(s) in the fridge too How does the fasting go? I read a bit about it but I am curious. I think we are in the same boat..yours is Italy weight..mine..friend weight lol.

    Today was such a busy day. Seems I spent most of the day running errands. And my list is still a mile long (or 1.6 km depending on where you live, :-)

    I still have to have a good organizing day in my house but with everything removed from our guest bedroom for painting and dropped into the office and living room, I guess there's not much hope for that right now.

    I want to put all the P2 recipes I've been collecting into my computer recipe program, so I can make my grocery lists faster. Maybe that can be my next week project.

    I'm still applying for work and hoping something comes up soon. But I've been so busy with all the household stuff, I wonder how I'm going to fit it all in. :-)

    So today is VLCD 7 and am down 12.4. I also measured myself today and i've lost 9 inches off my body!! I want to scream it from the rooftop. Lol. No one else would notice yet besides me, but it feels sooooo good!! Am so blown away by how it's working.

    I thought about adding in some light exercise but the weight's coming off so steadily, I'm afraid to jinx it. I've actually lost more per day the last 3 days than the first 4. I've also figured out that I show higher losses on the days that I get more than 80g of protein.

    I am not trying to fast - it just is a crazy insane week. Steak yesterday was actually delicious, though I set off the fire alarm. Ahem. It wasn't actually a steak day, though, since I managed to have a burger for lunch... Italy weight is almost gone, which is great - basically set me back 8-10 days, I would guess, depending how my weight looks over the weekend. Then I should be back to virgin fat territory!

    David isn't coming on October 4th, so I am bummed big time. He has a new course he has to do, and that is Thursdays till 8pm. He offered to drive down afterwards, but really - that would get him here after midnight, then a short night, suit shopping on Friday, and back again to the Netherlands for tennis on Saturday. Makes no sense, even if I really want to see him... Worst case? Won't see him again till October 18th, when I am going there. Miss him like crazy, though.

    Hey all! It's official, my LDW is 204.4. I still have my transition days to get thru, and off to P3/Paleo/LRx. I don't really count myself doing the Whole 30, 'cause it isn't a Whole 30 for me, but a Whole Life! My family is still resistant, and I am not going to push, at least they will get one decent meal a day (the rest of the day will be soda, chips, canned pasta, fast food, seriously sucks to be them!).

    Sunday night I will get to eat what everyone else eats (that I make!), and I am not sure as to what I want. I am definately having zucchini, cooked in plenty of butter!

    Sunday (day) I will be making up a batch of mayo, ketchup and BBQ sauce (I love condiments!) and invest in some vinegars for dressing. I might try out a recipe for Paleo ranch, and see how that is (I love Hidden Valley, but they should call it Hidden MSG).

    Anyway, this has been a great ride. hCG has done right by me!

    HCG has done right by me too Rusty! I'm officially on P3 and holding steady at 254 and going Primal. Today is my last transition day and tomorrow will be my first day to eat whatever so to speak. Most people think freedom once they hit P3 but I won't see it that way. I know I will be in Maintenance phase but I'm hoping going Primal will allow me to lose at least 10 more lbs before I cycle back in October. I actually feel like I hate food and none of the bad food I used to eat taste good anymore. By Thanksgiving Day I will be below 225lbs and headed to Onderland in Jan which will be my last round. That will be 140lbs lost in 9 months. No other diet could do this for me. I'm starting some interval training to tone up but I'm really not that flabby. Just my arms are driving me nutts! LOL. Been buying a few clothes and now that I'm not wearing such baggy clothes people are really noticing.
