Hi All and welcome jenandave and cap10432. Jenanddave, I am a petite loser at 5'1" and at 137 pounds still overweight by BMI standards. I wear a tight size 8 and am jealous of those wearing anything less than that LOL.
Thank you all for the great recipies, I have a notebook I am using for tracking this journey and am busy writing them all down.
This is VLCD3 no Hcg today and I am stoked. I am so ready for bacon, cheese and nuts. One problem bacon without sugar. Where do you guys find it? Everyone I picked up so far has sugar. Am I doomed to no bacon tomorrow? Help.

I agree w Donna! You can actually order chicken , no bun... At least you can at Wendys. You can also order a salad w chicken, toss the crappy stuff they throw on it away and add a grilled chicken breast to pump up the protein. Eggs are also a good option. Someone should be making bf. Finally if you find a star bucks, they have a fruit and cheese platter. Someone may also have hard boiled eggs too! Hope this helps! Safe travels!Julie
I'm in a bit of a panic: Today is my last VLCD and I gained a whole pound despite eating on protocol EXCEPT that I ate chicken twice yesterday. I have only gained that much twice: One was an infamous incident with ground beef and tomato and the other was because I started working out in P2 and worked out too hard. I'm just going to eat extra extra clean, cut a fruit (although I did that yesterday and I never eat melba), and pray to God that this is not a sign of what is to come for P3.
@justdoit: With respect to the cocoa crack recipe, I had to cut back on the cocoa for it to taste good to me. The first batch I made it equal parts coconut oil and cocoa and then stevia. It was really bitter! I had to really cut back, so my recipe consists of 1T of coconut oil and 2t cocoa powder with 5 drops of liquid stevia (with or without vanilla--I have both). I also switched from organic cocoa to Hershey's and it was better. I ate some in P2 and it seemed to help my losses if anything.

im on day 3 of my p3. i gained a pound on day 2 because i think i got over excited and just ate too much on day 1! So i took myself to the gym, did some power walking and didnt eat as much and day 3 i lost the pound i gained. It is very confusing reading all the different styles that people go into p3 with but I have decided Im not going to go in for huge breakfasts yet, maybe in time i will but for now i have some nuts, a little cheese and maybe an apple, coffee etc. not to rush into anything, take my time and listen to my body. Not let myself get hungry and snack on fruits such as berries, coco crack and almonds and see how this first week progresses, take it one step at a time and feel in control of myself. I hope this helps a little?
Hi lorie, I am 5'3" and I made it into a size 8 for one day in my adult life! I am forever hopeful!
The bacon I found was Gwaltney in Shoprite. Others said they carry it in Walmart but I couldn't find it in mine.
I also found uncured hot dogs in wegmans but I am sure others carry it, Applegate Farms, no sugar,nitrates etc. 70 cals per and you need to eat them fast; without the preservatives, they turn pretty quickly. I sometime slice them, sauté them and toss them in a scrambled egg! People say, Bleck, but it's yummy!

Ryann - don't panic. i am sure you are just retaining water. As long as you are staying on protocol, you are going to be fine. I gained over a pound on my first VLCD with no drops, but it came right back off.
I use Duke's (Not Hellman's) full fat mayo and Wright's bacon (no sugar, I don't know about nitrates, though).
What are you guys having for breakfast? Mine today was 2.5 pieces of bacon, 2 eggs with small amount of cream cheese and small piece of cheddar on top. I hope to get to the store and buy the flax meal to make Julie's cheddar bread for tomorrow's breakfast. Really looking forward to an egg/bacon/cheese sandwich.
Lunch is baked chicken turned into chicken salad.

Hey Lorie...I found you! This thread has really taken off in just a few days! Wow...12 pages...i have a lot of reading to do! I figured i'd leave a quick post so it will be easier for me to find tonight when my marathon of reading begins. It's amazing how much you miss by being gone for just a few days! ; )
Hello ALL...i am still in P2. Friday will be my last injection and Tuesday the 27th will be my first day of P3. I am dreaming of omlettes! I thought i was weird until i skimmed through some of these posts. Seems we all crave pretty much the same things! Although i have no intrest in bacon. I've been vegetarian (non meat eater...still eat eggs and dairy) for over 20 years.

Thank you so much for adding this thread... feels really good to discuss my concerns as well as my battles and triumphs with you guys! I will be entering p3 on 12/25/2011 and I am so nervous and excited! This is my R1 and i have a total loss of 27.7 lbs. in a 21 day round. Looking forward to hearing your guys defeats!
