Hello everyone! Today (at 1 pm) I officially start P3. I am Paleo, so P3 will also be my P4/lifetime! I am looking forward to a BALT salad ( bacon, avocado, lettuce, and tomato). Tomorrow I will be having steak (about 7 oz) and zucchini for breakfast, 'cause I am doing a Leptin reset (LRx), which worked out really well for me after my first round (www.jackkruse.com).

Remember, don't add in too much too fast! Happy stabilization!

I haven't been this weight since the mid 90's and I don't want to lose it either - feels really good!

@Rusty - your BALT salad sounds delish! I found out in R1P3 that I am sensitive to pork so this time I'm going to laser for it - hope it works

    QFT!!!

I kind of screwed up my first day of P3 on Friday because Saturday I woke up to a 3.5 pound gain and was within .2 of having to do a correction my 2nd day! Oops. I didn't have anything that wasn't allowed, but apparently too many different things at once. Date night was Friday night, and I had ordered two low carb small plates (we went to a local/ organic fine dining place) and only ate about half the food. But I did have a 1 1/2 glasses of dry red wine with dinner, and then a latte afterwards, and one sugar free chocolate covered almond patty after that. Probably should have picked only one

I think things are relatively under control because yesterday I had my eggs without the cheese, salmon and salad for lunch, and a few bites of salmon and veggies before bed. I did have half a glass of wine with lunch and drank a lot of water & tea. I went down about a pound today, so correction day is not so imminent. I'm going to eat similarly today and hopefully will get out of the woods.

    Round 1(9/12) 23 pounds in 30 days! Round 2(1/13) 19.3 pounds in 23 days! Round 3(3/13) 20.5 pounds in 28 days!
Back for Round Four: The Mulligan (Week 1 released 6 pounds! Week 2 released 5.2 pounds!)

I just finished making Paleo ketchup, Paleo mayo, and some ghee (OK, more like clarified butter). I am adamant about staying away from all things processed (within my abilities).

Tonight is pulled pork, sauerkraut, roasted sweet potatoes (other than a taste, I will pass) and braised cabbage. Food, glorious food!

Hey Rusty, can tou let me know how do you make the Paleo ketchup?
I will be going paleo as p3, then more primal as p4; cannot do the Leptin Reser straight away as I will be traveling , but def as soon as time allows to get started!

48 more hours to p3, actually starting to get reaaaaalllly hungry after 24hrs without hcg, not sure how I will survive the last 48

I got the recipe from Paleo Comfort Foods. (http://www.amazon.com/Paleo-Comfort-...o+comfort+food)

    Paleo Ketchup

    6 oz can tomato paste
2 Tbs lemon juice or apple cider vinegar
    1/4 tsp mustard powder
    1/2 c water
    1/4 tsp cinnamon
    pinch allspice
    pinch salt
    1/8 tsp paprika (optional)
    1 clove garlic
    1 bay leaf

combine all ingredients (except garlic and bay leaf) in a sauce pan

bring to a boil, stirring frequently

add garlic and bay leaf, simmer for 20 to 30 minutes (will thicken quick, add water to desired consistency)

remove garlic and bay leaf, let cool.

Paleo Comfort Foods is a great recipe book for Paleo/Primal or even gluten free eating. Lots of great recipes and most are compatible with P3.

I'm down .4 pounds today; still .4 above LIW but I'm comfortable with that. I think that if I continue a bit more moderately it will not be a problem.
