    Madcane - those do sound "good momma good" I had Buff WW wings and gained the next day - who knows what they put in them to bloat me up. I always brine mine then deep fry this sounds a lot neater

    AFM: I believe I have broke into the 123's 123.8 today yesterday 124 whoop whoop so I guess I will keep doing the same as I have been. I was going to add back my tortillas but now may wait until tomorrow added back breakfast sausage yesterday. I have been doing an eating schedule somewhat like LR (leptin reset) a big breakfast (not 50g protein but big, sauasage, eggs, cheese, heavy cream ), a smaller lunch (romaine, avocado, 1 oz hamb, chck thigh) and a lean protein and romaine only for dinner (ie: for dinner i had 6.8 blackened oz tilapia and 3 cups romaine with a vinaigrette) staying around 1500-1700 cals. Whatever it is my body seems to like it. Look forward to everyone's posts today!!
    I am 5'4" 44 yo. Was stable at 123 last round, lost focus, back at 144.
    R1 1/11 Started at 170lbs got to 140. Another round 9/12 got to 123. Goal is to get back in that area and hold under 130.

    Figuring out what your body likes

    This part of P3/P4 can be so frustrating and such fun! Trying to figure out what our bodies like and don't like is a great and sometimes depressing process. Then, suddenly you are in the "groove"!

    Yesterday, we went out to play some tennis, and it felt so GOOD! Good to move and stretch and push myself! Then, since the kids didn't really have fun at the courts, we stopped at the playground, and I was able to go across the monkey bars! OK, it was only 3 bars in, but for a couple of split seconds I was able to hold my total body weight on ONE ARM!!!
    If you take the kids to the park, no matter how silly you feel, get on those monkey bars. Climb on the equipment, slide on the slides, swing on the swings, have fun and play!

    We also did our nightly walk-about. So, I was totally up on my exercise (and all of it was free!), and a bit up in weight (by one pound), which I am going to chalk up to water in my newly found (and growing) muscles. But, to make myself feel better, I will probably fast today!

    shuga, i get the hot sauce at our local super market down the bbq sauce isle in with all the other hot sauces.

    Danielle, Buff WW ummmm, I usually get thier Pick 3, garlic parm, Jammin Jalapino, Mango habanero, ummmmmm good

    Girls quit sending your lbs down here to me, lol. i gained 2 lbs this weekend, still 1 under ldw. I'll chill out today, started out with a jay rob protien shake smoothy with coconut milk 4 strawberries and some spinach, lunch i'll have a couple of those left over hot drumsticks from yesterday, and tonight i'll make some custum chicken burgers, i'll let you know what i mix in there when i make up my mind.
    My gain i'm guessing was from the big fat hairy steak i had friday night while out who knows what they soak those things in, plus had another while out sunday for brunch, also ate later in the evening, this week back to my home made freash market meats and eating around 5pm. i'll see if i can get these 2 lbs off this week so i can have a nice cushion over next weekend again.

    Well gang I so enjoyed my awesome dinner out for the BF's birthday and also enjoyed way too much wine! So dinner was an appetizer of sauteed mushrooms topped with 3 kinds of cheese adn then baked in the oven and they are absolutely heaven and pretty much the best thing ever! Than the salad came with a little it of blue cheese dressing and than dinner itself was a 8 oz new york strip smothered in mushrooms and blue cheese and a sliced tomato instead of the potato and candied carrots that came with it. I also had 2 glasses of wine with dinner and than we went home where I proceeded to enjoy more than a bottle of wine by myself.

    Lets just say this girl cannot drink like she used to and boy howdy was I sicker than a dog yesterday not to mention my weight was up. I couldn't keep anyting down not even water until way late in the day and even then it was hard. The only food I was able to keep down was my eziekel bread so i had 2 pieces of that toasted and one had almond butter on it. I really needed something to soak up all the acis in the belly. So than I had this mad sweet food craving that comes along with a hangover and wanted ice cream so bad and I had some of those luttel single serve greek yogurt ice cream cups so I ate one of those....pure heaven and felt so good on the belly! Than had a lat dinner at 7 last night of chuck roast, mushrooms, onions and green beans and yes my weight is up even more today.

    So LDW was 118.6 and today I am at 122.4 and I am not doing a steak day or a CTD I am just going to eat clean and not freak out and know it will ocme back down in due time and that even if it doesn't it's not the end fo the world, I am totally ok with it and will be leaving for Maui in 6 days and am not going to stress about it!

    Epic fail on the steak day for me yesterday. Weekends are so hard and I just couldn't hang. But, today is Monday and I will be busy with appointments and so I should be able to do a steak day with no problem. I know I can get the weight off with high protein, but the steak day should just go ahead and knock off more than the high protein in a shorter time, so I'll go ahead and do that. I couldn't even weigh this morning...didn't want to face the scale! So, I'll do steak day today and high protein tomorrow. And then, I'll weigh on Wednesday morning.

    That dang wine gets me every time and I need to stay away form it but oh god how I had missed it and just really needed a night to cut loose!

    Hey all! I need to read through this thread but just wanted to say hello. Been in P4 for about 3months now and like in my previous rounds, I'm gaining. I DON'T KNOW WHY!!!!

    I eat pretty clean, with the occasional piece of dark chocolate. I don't eat anything processed or much sugar, I even watch starchy carbs. I can't tell you the last time I had a sweet potato or some squash. I try all the correction day stuff, FF, steak, everything pretty much on the forum, with little success. I did lose abut 4lbs once after an FF day, but gained it back nearly immediately. So I'm about 12lbs up now from LIW weight and miserable. Yesterday, I went back to P2ish eating, got on the scale today and am .6 up AGAIN!

    I need help!

    Can you list out the foods you are eating and maybe one of us can see something that coud be causing the issue for the gains. Lots of people have issues with dairy and eggs as eggs can cause inflamtaion for some people.

    I cut out Dairy as of yesterday, no eggs, cheese, etc. Yesterday I ate celery, chopped greens with grilled chicken, cucumbers, radishes, carrot pieces, for salad. I added a few red grapes and blueberries and a dressing of red wine vinegar, lemon juice, garlic and salt/pepper. I also ate 3 apples, probably 6 oz of roast beef w/yellow mustard.

    Today so far I've had a couple celery stalks with grilled chicken breast, I'm going to have about the same salad for lunch and tonight will have celery stalks with the roast beef again and apples. Do you think I need a couple of days to drop some bloat from whatever inflammation seems to be haunting me?

    Sounds like a good eating plan, but maybe skip the apples? If you have to have fruit try berries.

    It will take a few days to deflame your system, give it a week, then reintroduce either eggs or one dairy, and wait 3 days to see what happens. Keep a food log, so you can track. Make sure you are getting plenty of healthy fats (CO, EVOO, lard/tallow, butter). You also may want to eat more nutrient dense veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, dark leafy greens) to keep your fiber intake up.

    Sounds like you are on the right path, let's get you down to your LDW!!!

    Well, well - I was actually the good one this weekend about time, haha !! Don't worry I am just saving up for the week of Nov 1!!
