This part of P3/P4 can be so frustrating and such fun! Trying to figure out what our bodies like and don't like is a great and sometimes depressing process. Then, suddenly you are in the "groove"!
Yesterday, we went out to play some tennis, and it felt so GOOD! Good to move and stretch and push myself! Then, since the kids didn't really have fun at the courts, we stopped at the playground, and I was able to go across the monkey bars! OK, it was only 3 bars in, but for a couple of split seconds I was able to hold my total body weight on ONE ARM!!!
If you take the kids to the park, no matter how silly you feel, get on those monkey bars. Climb on the equipment, slide on the slides, swing on the swings, have fun and play!
We also did our nightly walk-about. So, I was totally up on my exercise (and all of it was free!), and a bit up in weight (by one pound), which I am going to chalk up to water in my newly found (and growing) muscles. But, to make myself feel better, I will probably fast today!
