What I could eat R1 in P3 was not the same this round, I stabilized beautifully in R1 but not in R2 , it might something to do with being a lower weight close to goal, who knows??? What worked for Shannon and me during P3 was to step back cut out all dairy (I did keep my hwc in my coffee though) and ate meat/fat/veggies/avocados, limited carbs in veggies seemed to help get the weight back stable and even lost an additional lb or 2 for me after that, maybe try that for a day or two and see what happens. Example menu for me one day , bfast sausage, bacon, lunch avocado, couple chicken thighs with skin, romaine and the same for dinner.. just a thought , it will get better for you

It's so good to have a place where there are seasoned HCGers with knowledge to help us newbies out. I have learned so much from this thread and the forum. So much good stuff I feel confident that I will stabilize during phase 3. I know it's only P3D8, but I am .2# below my LDW. I have been eating BAB, and I now like it. I tried some nuts, maybe less then 1/4c. on the last two days, and no gain. Yesterday and today added avocado. For me personally I won't be adding in much if any sugar or starch in P4. I am gluten and dairy intolerant. Also, I don't want the cravings to be awakened... I love the idea of eating fats, I mean real fats. I dieted most my life and it was always "fats make you fat" which is such a lie. Anyways, thanks you guys for helping me along this HCG journey

This is my first round, and it took a long round of 80 days to lose the 40 i did lose.no cheats the whole time. so it was a slow steady loss. that is not that unusual as women get older.no saggy skin that usually accompanies rapid weight loss.
stabilized well in p3,again no cheats,to try to recover from.so i think ill be fine . for me its the better option over the holidays.

My kidneys hurt from the start of round 2 because I didn't give them enough time to recoup after such a long round. Remember with each round you do you have to add an extra time to your P3/4.

Way to go you are doing awesome!!! I am the same way, love my fats, meats and vegi's and they make me feel like I am eating like a king and so dont get that feeling of being deprived of other foods. It's amazing the things you can make that are P3 and absolutely divine!! When people make the comment I look like I need to eat my BF always says back to them trust me she eats and eats more than I do and she eats more fat than any person I know! People are always floored when I tell them I live on butter, fatty meats, eggs, vegi's and HWC!

Shannon, my husband also said, when he seen my BAB, that if he ate all that he wouldn't be able to eat the rest of the day! Lol I have to say I am feeling so much better!! I know my body likes the fat, protein and veggies. It was just the detoxing from all the carbs, which HCG helped with. My son last year started eating fats, protein, veggies. He lost 20#s. and he wasn't overweight. He told me to read "Good Calories, Bad Calories" by Gary Taubes. I asked my son, if he was sure about this and him being a scientist, said "Mom, I don't do anything without first doing the research". I do believe he is right about this after I did my own research.

It always amazes me that people are still willing to buy into the "calories in/calories out" concept. Like eating 10 of those 100 calorie packs of oreos is A-OK, because it's just a 1,000 cals a day. Yeah, and you'll be dead in 2 months from malnutrition!

I knew a woman once who swore up and down that Red Vines are good for you because they are fat free!

It's hard, not only to educate ourselves about nutrition, but to educate the public at large. I remember my FIL just staring at me while I sucked down about a pound and a half of ribs, then reported I lost a pound and a half the next day. He can't figure out how to lose that last 10 lbs he's carrying. I told him, lose the bread, chips, cookies, and soda. Heck, just lose the junk food, duh! But, no go, so that's on him.

At least we are willing to go against conventional wisdom and think outside the box, plus, we get to enjoy that wonderful fat! Fat = flavor! Hence why there's so much sugar in fat free food!

So true, Rusty. The crap is like an addiction. Talked to my son this week and him and our DIL went to a slaughter house, in Chicago, over the weekend and he bought 40# of pig fat. No kidding. He said he was going to render it down to lard and then use the lard to deep fry their Thankgiving turkey. I bet that will taste amazing! Go Fat!!

Wondering, can I have carrots? My husband make chuck roast(grass fed) with veggies. We will be eating this, Along with deer & turkey jerky, some nuts, venison steak , turkey trying to think of portable food, because this weekend we will be hunting venison to fill our freezer. Any ideas?

so far I don't need a steak day-P3D4, but this is excellent information for when/if I do. thanks for bringing this intel forward, haven't gotten around to reading grammy's thread yet, so much else to read still, LOL. important information this.

MMM, I'm going to have to try that cheesecake delight thing-don't think this weekend I'm mentally ready to enjoy "cheesecake" without fear, maybe end of 2d or 3d week I'll feel more confident and relaxed with the idea.

Carrots are sugary sweet, and delicious dripping in butter. Carrots along with the different squashes should be eaten in moderation, and served with a green veggie.

As far as ideas, I suggest inviting me over!!! LOL We missed deer season this year, but are hoping to get a tag (or two) next year.

Now, for real ideas, I did well camping just sticking to a P2 type plan: Coffee for breakfast, plenty of protein in the form of jerky and steaks (cooked at breakfast, eaten cold), cucumbers and tomatoes can be eaten like an apple, and, of course, apples (which can be eaten like apples...). Keep your protein and fats up, since you will be roughing it, and your body will burn calories like a madman!

    Happy hunting!

Down .8 today after doing the BPC IF and happy about that but still 4.8 above LDW but it's all good. I am on manitenance for life now and if I can keep my weight around 125 or below for the rest of my life I will be one happy camper. Of course yes it would be lovely to get back to LDW but am not going to stress about it and am going to get back to enjoying life!

The BF and I are having a much needed date night tonight and heading to the casino. We booked a jacuzzi room and have enough comp points that our room is free! They have the best seafood bar at this casino and it's our favorite place ever to eat and it is all so fresh and amazing so I will be loading up on lots of good fresh clean seafood tonight!
