Hi everyone. My name is Amber, I live in Pasadena, work in East Houston. I am 36 yrs old and I have about 120 pounds to lose. I've been doing drops with no HCG in them since Jan 29. I've lost 17 pounds and I am patiently waiting on my order of the real stuff to come in. So in March I am going to start over. Glad to see a group of Houstonians on here.

    Hi Katymum!

YES!! You have to load when starting any round. If you don't you will highly regret it because you will be very hungry the first 3 days that it take for hcg to take full effect.

I do not order hcg, I get my injections from an MD so I can't help you with that unfortunately, but I am sure some of the other wonderful members in this group can.

    Welcome aboard!

Hi all, it has been a while since I have posted. P3-P4 going well but I must admit to eating mostly P3. Recently came back from a vacation (long weekend) with much food and wine. Weighed myself this AM and I am back to my end of round weight already.

I have been eating ala Kruse Leptin-style with BABs and meal timings. Seems to work well for me. I do allow myself some very good quality dark chocolate after dinner every day

Hope all is well with everyone...I will check in periodically and hope other Houstonites continue to use this thread as a check-in point.

    R1 Weight Loss 15.0
    R2 Weight Loss 7.5
    Total Weight Loss 22.5

Slow and steady wins the race...

    Howdy everyone.

I've been gone for a long time and it seems like the thread has dwindled down. COME BACK PLEASE!!

I am having a hard time starting back this time. I haven't gotten on the scale in a while and I know that I have gained everything back that I lost, so I am back to square ONE.

Rodeo is over and I have to get back on track!!

    Alicia
    Have to start all over.

Another Houstonian here. I live in Midtown.

I wrote my first post yesterday. I'm visiting friends in London now, and my HCG should be at my office when I return.

I've set a loading weekend for May 19.

I've looked for other posters who are in my situation. I'm very active in CrossFit, and really only about 10 pounds over what I think I should weigh. I'm 5'7" and about 165. Most of my "overage" seems to be in the stubborn belly area.

I do admire those of you who have big losses. I know that has to be life-changing and emotionally gratifying.

Losing weight for health improvement seem the larger purpose for HCG, but vanity has to be included as a legitimate reason for going this route.

In my case it's definitely vanity.

I know my diet, and lifestyle are most of the problem. Being single, it's too easy to eat and drink whatever you want.

It will be important for me to stay energetic enough to not miss out on workouts. I know from looking at this forum, exercise is OK to continue, especially if it was part of your normal routine before starting.

Thanks for being here ... Charles

Ladies...I don't cook so I am using www.dinnerdude.com. He cooked it, not me! LOL! I will share a pic after I heat up :P
I just opened up that website. We are so lucky here in Houston to have so many healthy "take home" food preparation places.

    I've used:

    MyFit Foods
    Snap Kitchen
    TruMeals

And some others, but I forget their names.

I'll check out Dinner Dude as well.

Hi Alicia! I'm back! I'm starting round 3 next Wednesday. R1 was so awesome, R2 not so much. I cheated a lot and drank. This go round I'm not drinking and using Dinner Dude religiously! I am going to be 40 in July and have a Cabo trip in Sept. Wanna be 140-145. Let's do this!! Welcome Charles! Nice to have a guy in the group!

I received my kit yesterday from Trimnutrition. I was very happy to see the needles are 30g and only 5/16" long.

I'm setting my Load Days as May 21/22.

I need to order more B-12 and my Lipotropics.

Did any of you use supplements (injectable or not) during your HCG?

My load days are today and tomorrow. No, I didn't order any additional supplements. So are you still going to do crossfit on a 500 cal/day plan? I just ordered a months worth of meals from Dinner Dude.

I'll be here supporting you on.

As for calories & CrossFit ... I'm going to play that by ear/feel. I will also use DinnerDude, and then I think I may also keep chicken breast on hand to supplement a portion of protein if I need it.

My CrossFit offers a supplemental class called Fit Camp, but it is more advanced than the typical Boot Camps. It's really just CrossFit without barbells. I am going to switch over to that full time and drop to 3 times a week.

As luck would have it they are closed the last week of May. This will give me time to take a mini-break, and during that time I'll run at Memorial Park and do squats, push ups, and ab work at my own pace.

I'll supplement with two weekly injections of B-12 and this Lipotropic: http://www.horseprerace.com/vitamins...00ml-p-12.html

I was taking a B-12 shot twice a week before HCG, and one shot of this as well: http://www.trimnutrition.com/Trim-Max-AC

By switching vendors on the Lipotropic, I'll go from 10ml vial at $140, to a 100ml vial at $33. Granted, the Horse Juice has lower counts on the ingredients, but I'll just switch to a few shots a week and be way ahead of the game still. That's going from $14 a shot to 33 cents (plus syringe costs). The outsourced syringes will probably cost more ...

The cost savings is phenomenal over what I have been paying. I'm getting my B-12 from this same place and for less money I get 100ml versus the 30ml I was getting for about $9 less.

    To be continued ...

Please tell them I sent you!

You will need to up your cals if you are going to exercise at CrossFit. Just my two cents. On my first round, I went out dancing one night and then felt horrible the following three days. Your body needs thos 500 cals.

My shots average to $2/shot and I get the from Dr. Deidre McMullen in Missouri City. B12 shots are $5
