    1 tablespoon dry mustard
    2 teaspoons granulated garlic
2 teaspoons coarsely ground black pepper
1 teaspoon sweet smoked Spanish paprika
    1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
    1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

That's a pretty good one. could use it on chicken too

Rizzo - Sounds perfect. I did one similar with the dried mustard, garlic, salt, pepper and apple cider vinegar that I found online. Yours sounds so much better.

It seems steak is a good loser for me. I'm down 1lb again today. So excited! Anyone have big plans for the weekend? Today I'm taking my son to swim lessons for the first time then over to a friends house to plan our double family vacation. I'm extremely excited as my husband and I have never taken a real vacation together. My friend has 2 twin boys just one month older than my son and they are the best of friends so it really works out well. Plus our husbands get along so that's even better!
Other than that, i'll just be cleaning and picking up around the house.

.2 loss this morning. ugh.. not sure how much longer i can go on like this.. i will make it to the end but i'm pretty over it at this point. If i don't get below 200 this round somthing is eriously wrong. i have 10 more days and i'd like to lost 10 lbs... but yeah right.. not at this point. 6.6 would get me there.. but i would like more for a cushion. i need a good drop to boost my morale at this point. I'm hoping i'm losing inches at thi point. something need to be losing something because the freaking scale isn't losing anything. *pissed*

just going to sit here and drink my coffee and pout

I'm so sorry Rizzo. Do you believe in apple days? I read something regarding stalls and apple days? Just looking at your tracker I think your doing great! I know i don't know this protocol as well as you do but maybe try and relax too? holding on to stress can make your body do crazy things. YOU GOT THIS RIZZO!

    Hi there!
I am on day 10 down 10 lbs. I have to say having a hard time not having my wine. Cheated a couple days. Also I just HAD to have a few sips of OJ this am. Hoping it won't hurt my progress too much. This is one tough diet! I am so bored with the food. UGH! Any suggestions?

Yeah not stressed so much.. more just pissed. also i've read apple days are a waste of time.. grammy concurs. if anything i'd do a mini protein day.. i'm gonna let it go another day in hopes that I have a loss tomorrow. if not, then I will do a protein day.

Rizzo, I'm smelling what your stepping in! I woke up to a 1.2 pound gain this morning, super pissed. I was very hungry yesterday and had pickle spears and some deli meat. I'm sure it was the sodium plus my dose is still off. I dropped it down this morning and went back to sub Q instead of doing IM in my thigh. I feel like i've caused a huge setback very early on. So not happy right now.

Hi, everyone. Wow, it's amazing how busy my day had been. Had to get up early for the pooches (hubby normally takes morning shift), walk them then feed them. Then, had to get dressed real quick, drive an hour and ten minutes to my dad's, he's sofa shopping. Or, more correctly, loveseat-with-fold down-console-power-wallhugger-NOT blended leather-NOT overstuffed shopping. Spent a couple hours with him, walked through three furniture stores, drove another 45 minutes across town for my first oil change on my new car, then drove an hour and twenty minutes back home, used the potty real quick, took the three dogs in backyard so they could do a quick business, THEN did the standard block walk with them, finally put chicken in the oven for supper. GEESH, I don't think I'll have sleep problems tonight!!

Rizzo, I feel ya' girl. Totally irritating having the teeny losses like that, being pissed is more than appropriate. Hopefully you'll have a nice drop tomorrow, if not, do the mini protein day!! Apple days have never helped me, I've tried them a couple of times and gain on the dang things.

Chatty, nice to hear from you. Wow, you had quite a jump this morning!! It just has to be the sodium from the deli meat and pickles. I'm sure at least a good part will drop off today, just keep pushing water.

AFM, today was Gain Day for us I guess. I'm up .4# to 155.8#, I attribute it to the bed frame saga yesterday, I was quite sore all over this morning. And, this is a weight territory I've held for sometime over the last year, so I figure it'll be slower getting through it. While I was on the road today, I took my apple with me. Stopped for gas and bought four hard boiled eggs at lunchtime (only ate the yolk of one), and a couple cans of unsweet iced tea. So, stayed on plan while out and about. Tomorrow starting on some light housework to have the place ready when my daughter comes down.

Busy lady! Sorry you were up this morning! Seems to be the norm for the group lol! You're probably right though... because your sore you are retaining water. Way to get some stuff done today! I too, have been pretty darn busy! Took the pooches for walks this morning as well, grocery shopping, another walk, cleaned the whole house top to bottom. (minus the bathroom the husband does the bathroom) and got the dinner in the oven! Love ays where i feel like i got stuff done. and i enjoy a very clean house! Here is to hoping we have a drop tomorrow! ugh! fingers crossed!

so i think i've figured it out. my lack of loss is due to my ovulation cycle.. I've always known and can tell when ovulating, but had no idea you retain water.. makes sense.. so if all goes well.... i will have a pretty decent loss tomorrow. here's to hoping! anyone else have this problem?
