Most of the carbs are indigestible fiber, so its not as high in carbs as it seems. It seems to be in line with other sweetener protein bars.

My caution would be that is only a little over 200 calories. If you eat 2, then your carbs do become a problem. But 200 calories is not really enough for a meal. Eating enough is as important to P3 success as eating the right things. I'd look for a bar closer to 300 calories and with 15-20 grams protein.

These bars actually only have a 170 calories and 20 grams of the carbs. 9 protein.

So how are you doing with those bars, tanyamac?

A little more creep-down this week to report. Another pound or two and I'll be back at what seems to be my normal weight of about 140. That this is happening with just my normal day-to-day eating is amazing to me. The only time I've ever steadily lost without some herculean dieting effort was before my Grave's disease diagnosis. So this is definitely a new thing.

I put on my regular summer shorts today and they fit comfortably. Everything after this is gravy, because its about being comfortable in my own skin, not chasing a number. I felt and looked awesome at 130, but my body doesn't seem to be able to hold at that weight. I was hoping I could hold at 135, but it doesn't like that either. But I will keep that number on my driver's license anyway, and allow that little bit of vanity. ^_^

What state requires weight on driver's license? They don't do that in Florida or Texas where I lived in the 80s - lol!

Every state I've ever lived in has required height, weight and eye color on the drivers license. Just my luck, I guess.

I still might want to check in on this thread once in a while, since this group has been posting together for FIVE YEARS. wow.

But I'll post on the new one too.

Checking in to say I'm doing well. Summer is usually a good time for me because I enjoy all the abundant fresh produce. My challenge is to get enough protein in in the summer. Hanging around the 140 mark. 138 currently, so I'm happy with that.
