    July p4 group. [2015] Let's stay connected!

    I am a 5 time hcg'er, working on same 15-20 lbs I yo yo with. Lost 13 in June. Just lost another 1 1/2 lbs in p3. I start p4 Saturday. Would like to lose another 7-8 lbs. Looking for a core group to continue with p4 motivation and tips and tricks! If your just starting p4 or a seasoned veteran, we would love to hear from you!

    Good morning! Yesterday, I was 1 lb below ldw and today 1 lb above. I ate tuna yesterday and without thinking, regular mayo. Also, did not get to eat dinner till 8pm and at 9 still had 600 calories to go, so made a mug cake. I was still under my calories. So, eating very clean today, as tomorrow is last day of p3. I've only had to do one coreection day, the first few days into p3. Which I've been very pleases with.

    Down to my ldw today! Yay, going into p4 with only doing one correction day, in the beginning.

    I am day 8 into P4, and staying under LIW

    I have been introducing things slowly. I am eating Sprouted grain bread, when I do have bread which is not often. I also bought organic mayo. I eat almond butter and brown rice crackers for an afternoon snack.
    I drink a kale smoothie every couple days. I only eat when I am hungry and I don't count calories..

    I make sure to have protein and a carb every day of some sort. Then check my weight every morning. I hope this works this time for me.

    What I find so crazy is the amount of sugar in everything. It says we should only have 25g a day, when say a glass of Clamato juice has 11g. I look at the amounts in everything I drink or eat.

    I've been reading a lot of people start following the FMD or trim healthy mama. I'm going to try and follow the eat clean diet. I have a few choice things I want indulge in. One thing a week. But, want to lose another 8 lbs. I am not a fan of almond butter although, I love almonds and almond flour. Maybe I should try it again. I know we are supposed to try to give up the counting calories but, aren't we supposed to keep them up, so we don't go low and gain?

    Happy to see a P4 post. I'm in day 18 still maintaining liw tho very hot outside all day long. I am not crazy about almond butter but I do eat peanut butter regularly. Today is the first day I had rye bread Half a slice b. I am wondering about the 25carbs a day for P4. I don't think that is necessary unless you are doing a different program. I'm sure carbs of fruit and veggies on P2 was more than 25 and I know I eat more than that daily. Perhaps if you are trying to lose more on p4. Just not familiar with that

    Rose, thats my goal, to keep myself and other people accountable in p4. I know I have always needed it!

    I meant 25g of sugar sorry, not carbs. Haylie Pomroy doesn't believe in counting calories either, but more to eating the right foods at the right time. Its important to snack even if you can't eat, so your body doesn't take from the stored fat. And she believes in eating every 3 hours.

    Leez did a great post on FMD if your interested. I really like her(Haylie Pomroy) book, and her recipes.

    Thanks Jayk for clarifying the sugar... I really am mainly doing P3 but use some protein bars or shakes with around 3 g net carbs as snacks or when im unable to stop and eat Yesterday i did have a half slice of rye bread but am trying to stay away from potatoes, sugar, breads and white rice as well as packaged junk foods.

    I eat a substantial breakfast two fruits daily and salads with lots of meat or chicken while im traveling.
    Today is day 19 P4 and im at 140'my goal weight and minus 1.6 from LIW However i know my weight can fluctuate within that lb or so daily so i like to keep a 3/5" journal to record changes.

    I am going to retread the FMD book and kind of incorporate that with clean eating. I am going to confess though that I ate a chocolate extreme blizzard yesterday. My first day of p4. It was 102 degrees and everyone ate ice cream. They've done that too me all summer with Pie and ice cream. I did not gain! Yay! But, I'm good now. Going to continue eating clean. Going to avoid sugar for the most part. We are having a big BBQ Thursday for my moms 60th bday. Might have some BBQ, no bun. I love pork, but in the past I've always gained from it, even with nothing on it.

    Good job Rose, so impressed with your keeping faithful while being gone! Keep up the good work.
