I am hoping I can finally see a path of stabilizing ahead. I need to spend a day baking the things I like and keeping them in the fridge. And like Absagain is doing, when it make enchiladas I just eat the filling. And so on....
To be honest my choice at dq was chicken strips, fries and a mini chocolate extreme blizzard. I ate a blizzard before with no gains. One of the number one things I craved during p2 was graham crackers. Haven't had one yet. I have a box too. Thing is I can eat a whole pkg!
My fibro hasn't bothered me in over a year. I have hot flashes so went to my homeopathic guy and he recommended some stuff and less than 24 hours my fibro kicked in worse than it ever has and my hot flashes are horrid. I've taken so many drugs today it's not funny. I feel like I didn't take anything I hurt so bad. Usually eating sugar and bread kick the fibro in, if I eat too much of it. My mother is 70 and has it, it doesn't go away unfortunately, just goes into a sort of remission.

I am hoping you all stabilize superbly!

Woke up early today and decided to do some early morning yoga... Wow-- I am not limber anymore.. I need to work on that.. After morning routine, jumped on the scale and I was down .6... yay--- it's a relief to know that I can have the grains and fats and not gain... yesterdays fats were raw almond butter, pistachios, avocado, hummus, safflower mayo and my grains were sprouted bread. feeling energetic and ready to take on the day..

I bought the sprouted bread in Trader Joes-- but my local supermarket does carry it. I put it in the freezer because the shelf life is only a couple of days here. I like it toasted, so that works out well. I went to look for sprouted wraps, but so far I couldn't find them. I have a new whole foods that just opened- so I may go there this afternoon. Today is my last day in FMD P3-- so I might decide to wait and just substitute my bread for the wrap. I'll check the meal map and see if I can use the wraps in the next few weeks-- if I can, then maybe I'll get them and freeze them too.

It's a glorious day here. Low 80's and sunny with white puffy clouds and a slight breeze. Just perfect. I'm going to take my kids out and cloud watch today.

    Great job kapluzie

I like the sprouted bread, wraps and hamburger buns. I can't find safflower mayo in my town, so will have to wait until I am in the city. I keep my sprouted bread in freezer and just take out what I want.

Jayk- do you have sprouted wraps and hamburger buns? If so, what brand are they? I would love sprouted hamburger buns!

I'm not much of an Ezekiel bread fan unless it's toasted. So I use it for french toast or toasted sandwiches.

A bit frustrated today. After doing an eat clean day and a fat fast day I am still two lbs up. Not a happy camper. Eating clean again, today. Although, I was mad an bought an almond snicker bar this morning. It's funny how our minds try to justify things. I was thinking " well, I'm not losing the gain this time, so might as well enjoy something else stupid" how awful is that? Will give candy bar to my son when he brings me my cell phone, I left at home.

tanyamac- good for you!! buying the snickers and then giving it away. I made it through many P2 that way- if I was craving something, I would put it in a plastic bag and stick it in the freezer- and tell myself-- not now, another time. Which reminds me, those things are still in my freezer- lol.

AFM- I'm reading up on thyroids and boy is it confusing. I have no knowledge of this at all- everything is new to me. Hopefully I can absorb some of this before my doctors appointment. I just went to Whole Foods and bought some of the sprouted wraps and I found sprouted bagels!!! Hope I can have them ( maybe a 1/2) at some point. They did have sprouted hot dog rolls and hamburger rolls- but I wasn't sure if they were plan approved- so I decided to wait on those.

Like I said earlier- I made an appointment with my gyn for a week from Friday. That was the earliest I could get. I chose to go to this doctor because in the past he was willing to run blood tests. I really didn't like him as a doctor though-- as I had some pain in my breasts and he just flat out told me-- he wasn't concerned about the pain.(after a clear mammogram). So here's the question-- I found another gyn, who I would be willing to try--- do you think I should stick to the doctor that I previously went to-- or try someone new? Since I'm requesting bloodwork to see if I have a new issue--thyroid--- any thoughts? oh-- and the new doctor is available next week.

I can't imagine going to a doctor who I didn't like, even if I had to find a new one. I'd go with the new one. Sounds like the other doc is limited. I try new doctors all the time--for my kids. It probably takes a while before you find someone you like and trust.

Good luck on that! Thyroid is VERY interesting to me, as we live around the Great Lakes. Little iodine in the soil here.

Keep us posted on what you find out.

I talked to the hubs about it, and he thinks I should find a doctor that I am comfortable with- the search begins today. I cancelled my other appointment-- which happened to be within the 6 week period of when I was injecting HCG. So I thought it best to wait a few more weeks.

afm- I'm doing well on the FMD. I joined another site and am getting more info than the book offers. No change on the scale-- YAY!! I've completed 1 week rotation so far. My hubs noticed that my arms are getting smaller-- I just love that man!
My clothes are more comfortable... I'll need to do my measurements later on...
