I enjoy reading your posts and the other ladies and helping each other if I can

I would love to see some of your art as well if you have a link

You are a busy lady. I dont use one but is it possible to put meat or chicken in a crockpot with veggies to cook while you are at work? Also, bring some fruit other than bananas to work like berries or apples. Bananas cause me gain sometimes. Also buy packs of almonds for snacks and some extra calories. I keep a jar of peanut butter and eat a cpl of T of that if i dnt have time to eat well

    Hi gals,
I'm back from camping. Did I tell you I was leaving home because we were having our floors done? Well, the guys were here this afternoon putting on the final coat of polyurethane. Our whole family is existing in the den at the back of the house. Our dog and cat can't even go outside because True Green just visited, so they must not go outside too much. The cabin we camped in was also dinky, so we're all learning to get along together...

Food-wise, I think I did well while we were gone. I wasn't able to weigh daily, unfortunately, because there were no level floors for a scale. When Dr. Simeon said weigh every day, I don't think he took roughing it into consideration. I will weigh tomorrow when I have a level floor for the scale to be put on. Wish me luck tomorrow. My family ate brownies, pb&j, junky cereal or pop tarts, sandwiches with bread, pop, slushies, candy, chips, Bugles, and subs. I ate pretty P3, although I did have one small slice of rye bread yesterday, as well as turkey jerky.

Tonight I'm eating Chinese because we can't use our kitchen. Hope the salt doesn't affect my weight too much tomorrow.

    Good job, everybody!

Rose, thankfully I do not gain from bananas! I do eat a lot of raspberries and cherry tomatoes. I keep yogart and peanut butter in my shop office. I have a mini (and I mean mini) fridge.
I have cheese sticks in there as well. today I am doing a fat fast again. one last week worked great. all the bread I ate over the weekend is what killed me. and then not eating enough for
    three days.
My big problem is I am just now going into my busy season. fall and Christmas! I have to huge fall shows coming up as well as a huge antique fair.
if you guys get bored, you can check out my shop on facebook. Burlap and lace in Creswell, Oregon.

I need one day to bake my own protien bars and other snacks to keep in the freezer. I always forget about nuts. I am hoping I can do a few things on Monday. I am drinking a cup of coffee now,
so I can stay up and get stuff done tonight. Hubby left for the weekend to scout for deer. I get a lot done when he is not here.
Rose I did check out your website, very cool!! lovely art!!

Abs, I cannot eat Chinese at all! I love it but the last time I did I was up six lbs from one meal!!

    Hello again ladies,
I've been away just enjoying the summer. My son was using the laptop and I just was too lazy to fire up the desktop. My weight is stable.. I am slightly up from when I posted last- due to not following the plan and having a glass of wine and adding a fat instead of a fruit. Somehow, I got confused-- the menu called for pomegranate seeds and I didn't have any-- I saw seeds and substituted hemp seeds instead... not realizing the latter was a fruit. No biggie. I'm happy with my progress.

I'm in week 3 and have about 1 1/2 weeks until the program is over. I am undecided if I will return to having my morning coffee. I do miss it, but I know I am better off without it.

tanyamac- I agree with rose about your snacking. It sounds like you are in "hypo" mode... trying to be ready for your busy season... stress often interfers with our ability to eat properly. I know it is early in the season, but use your slow cooker-- and freeze some of the portions so you can have another time.

abs-- wow-- you're on an adventure. Cabin camping.....hmm--- I booked a cabin camping weekend for labor day for me and my boys. They are hoping to do some fishing and hiking. I hope the Chinese food doesn't prove to be a lifter.. I love Chinese food-- but wouldn't dare to go near it.. I wouldn't mind the 2 lbs gain-- but a 3-5 lb is too hard for me to recover from.

rose-- seems like things have really settled down for you. You're maintaining well-- YOU'VE DONE IT!! You've found the right combination for you body to thrive at your weight. Good for you.. Hopefully, I too have found my way.

AFM-- I've been keeping busy, going to the beach and still planning more trips to the beach until school starts on Sept 8. I feel that my body has settled and my weight has stabilized. Although I feel some of the food might be bothering my tummy. I'm really not up to figure out which food is causing the issue. I'll just eat some beano. lol
Keep posting ladies!! It's good to know some have stabilized as well as some of us who are still fluctuating. Although none of us wants to be the one with gains-- it helps all of us to know that we are human, and it's always a battle. Love you guys for posting!!

Regular trips to the beach sounds so refreshing. I used to live in southern California hundreds of years ago and was 15 minute drive to Redondo Beach. Such great memories. Im still painting 6 days a week and have made good progress getting ready for 5 shows in Chicago (2) Omaha , CarmelIN and Louisville KY . Will be ready to get home in October.

    GOOD MORNING everyone,
It's a beautiful day here in NJ. Blue skies with puffy white clouds and temps are expected in the mid 80's. Unfortunately, no beach day for us today- the hubs isn't a fan.
Today is my last day in the lean protein phase (phase 2) of fmd. I had eggs and Canadian bacon for breakfast. I made a veggie mix of Jicama, onions and orange bell peppers. And another of mushrooms and broccoli in garlic. I'm counting down the days until I don't have to plan each meal. I haven't given much thought as to how I am going to try to eat after the fmd. I will read the maintenance part of the book again and refresh my memory. But I know that I will be enjoying a few glasses of wine. I went through all the summer without feeling the need for sweets or drinking alcohol== but recently I have been getting the craving for some wine. Could be TOM on the way.. Or maybe I'm eating something that is triggering my sweet tooth. hmmmmm. Anyway.....
Today the scale moved a little downward. -.8.. It's always a good feeling when it moves in a downward motion. But it's par for the course as I was up a few days ago-- and now back down... it works for me. I don't need to worry about corrections and what the culprit was.
On a different note-- my scalp has been feeling very itchy lately-- I went and bought head and shoulders- but it didn't help. I'm wondering if the biotin is kicking in and my hair is starting to grow back? It hasn't been that long though (about 5 weeks) so that might just be wishful thinking.

    Good evening,
Hubs and I took the boys to the local park to do some fishing during the late afternoon. I was hoping to do some meditating by the water- but no such luck. Oh well, it's a better exercise for fmd p3 anyway. Tomorrow starts fmd p3 and I'm planning another day at the beach. 2 more weeks until school and work start.. so I've got to make the most of the rest of our summer. I booked a labor day cabin camping trip and will surprise my boys with a weekend of fishing, atv'ing and hiking.
I hope everyone is enjoying life and still maintaining....

    Hello all,

What scales are you using? I need to buy a new one. My weights the last few days have been high, low, and LDW. My middle daughter has complained about the scale, so it's not just my imagination. Name brands would be appreciated. Weight Watchers scales are in the $30 range and have more bells and whistles than I think we need.

    Maybe I'm LDW today...

My scale is over 6 years old. I've changed the battery twice, and still the weights vary greatly. Opinions?

    Good Morning!
Hope everyone is doing well!! I am kind of in shock this morning. For 6 days I've eaten clean and added one correction day trying to get last weekends splurges off. No such luck.
scale would not move. and being the emotional eater that I am, i ate graham crackers, banana bread, blackberry cobbler and ice cream. I went down 2lbs. still over 1lb but was shocked. I was
expecting to be well over 5lbs up. Tonight we are going out to eat (again) at home town buffet. our youngest daughter is going on a road trip with another girl to Oklahoma, to see our oldest daughter. I am NOT ok with this!! she will be flying home though. So she wanted to go there as a family before she left. I've never even met the other girl. she is 26, so hoping she is somewhat mature. she is
the manager of a KFC where Mikaila works. Still! 2 girls on a road trip!! ugh, my poor heart!!
Praying I make good choices tonight! I love their mashed potatoes, but no no no!

Hello all, glad to hear everyone is doing okay

I love your art Rose. Very nice

I need a new scale as well. I get battery issues with mine and depends where I set it on the bathroom floor. It gives different weights. I have been staying within LDW but haven't tried anything new either these days.
Was busy visiting with family on the weekend, and watched Roller Derby Saturday night as my daughter is in it. That was fun.
