    I still drink lots of water as well, even though its not required, I think its healthy

    Darn it tanya, every since you mentioned pork chop I have been wanting one as well. I don't do well with pork, but like it from time to time.

    I did on Last Friday have pork spareribs from M&M Meats, about half a rack. Very tasty and I did well.

    Usually pork runs through me, if you know what I mean, except bacon, maybe because its cured. Well will see if I give in one day and try it.

    So happy to see this thread continuing because im on day 21 p4 and want to continue stable. Tanya, i think i tried coconut flour with my eggs for pancakes but used only about a quarter of a cup. However, i had a gain on p3 and someone said i should have used almond flour because coconut flour has carbs. I never knew that since i know in some breads that are low carb they use both.

    I do love the pancakes though and always use no sugar added preserves on top. Yummy


    Yesterday we ate at Chilis for late lunch/dinner. I had a HUGE dinner ...Fajita trio with steak, shrimp and chicken and sauteed green peppers, onions, guacamole and cheese. Also had a few T of black beans . Didnt eat flour tortillas because i dont like them anyway. I was stuffed but happy. Had a pint of blueberries at night . They are in season no and were delicious.

    Went to the grocery store so at the hotel we can cook in the room in our little kitchen. Bought bacon, grass fed beef, and some chicken caesar salads plus cantalope and blueberries and apples for fruits. We are all set.

    Rose, your dinner sounds fabulous! I have another confession...I went in to the antique mall that I'm a vendor in and then to the grocery store, which is right across from.....SONIC! Yep, I did it. Got a sonic hamburger. It was good, but very salty! That's it. No tots or onion rings. That was lunch. Now, I don't want another one. Then had the pork chop with asparagus for dinner. I was very surprised to only be up a lb. surprised and pleased it wasn't more. Was thinking I might have to do correction day.

    I did forget that coconut flour has carbs. Which is probably why I gained when making mug cakes with it. I splurged and bought almond flour yesterday. It's almost a treasure with how expensive it is. I bought it in the bulk dept. bobs re mill is $9.99 in a 1lb bag, but 7.49 a lb in bulk. What's funny is they just dump it out of the bags into the bins. I watched them do that with cereal once. It's amazing what we are charged for packaging.

    VLCD day 2 with a loss of 4.2!!!

    yesterday I was 180.4, today I was 176.2!

    And I was so pleased, I even resisted the temptation of eating snacks with my coworkers today during break time!!!

    Hooray for progress!!!

    Its great to see how everyone is doing stabilizing. That is always my downfall with HCG. I lost the weight before and thought I was too high above needing to do it and I gained the weight back so fast its not even funny. So this time I hope to do everything right and end up in the same boat as you all!
    All my adult life 147 - 156
    Highest weight I realized - 173
    First round "attempt" - Load:173, End: 147, Didn't Stabilize, Gained it back AND MORE.
    Note to self - Always Stabilize

    Thank you I appreciate it! Yeah That's probably the most I've lost from one day of the VLCD before actually! Oh that sounds like a good idea. I do want to incorporate either tea or coffee into my mornings. But coffee on an empty stomach upsets it. So I think tea it will have to be!

    Regular tea has tannc acid n it which can cause stomach upsets but the orangespice tea is herbal with no caffeine

    Hi everyone!

    Solostar, welcome! You're loss was great! Good luck with this round and with stabilizing after!

    I'm losing track of how many days I've been P4 but I think I'm 2-days behind Rose. I am hanging out at just about 1lb over LIW. A heavy day at the gym (or drinking a couple of glasses of wine) will bump me up a bit, but I seem to come right back down in 24 hours.

    Rose your dinner out at Chili's really sounded delicious! I used to love their fajitas. I never eat the tortillas etiher.

    Almond flour is crazy $$! I think that the almond crop hasn't done well this past year (drought?). Add to that the Bird Flu issue and eggs are expected to go up in price too. It gets expensive to eat well!

    Glad I have chickens! I have an abundance of eggs! I decided I needed to make an apple crisp tonight. The last couple of times I made it, I used Stevia and almond flour. I do have to use splenda brown sugar, though. But no one noticed. they love it! would it be better to use real brown sugar or the splenda one? I don't use it much. struggling figuring out the calories on that one though. maybe if I write it down, rather than trying to do it in my head. your probably right about the almond crops. with the drought in Ca. Some of my family live in Almond country, about 6 hours from here. Used to also be the olive capital of the world.
