Finally back on... had some difficulty logging onto to my desk top... all is going well... my oldest son is away at sleep away camp as a counselor and I went to visit him today. We had a nice time and it certainly raised my spirits to see him. My round is going well so far. Absolutely no hunger.. weight loss is slow this round but the inches are dropping as my pants were too big. Funny how sometimes the scale drops nicely and we get all excited, but when it doesn't it could be devastating. I was saddened but then I tried on a pair of pants that were 2 sizes smaller ( yes, they had a lot of give-lol) and they fit. comfortably.. so I'm good with that. Sometimes it's not all about the number on the scale... sometimes the number on our clothes count too.. hahaha
anyway, summer is half way over here and I've only been to the beach once... what's up with that?!

Well your doing awesome kapluzie if you noticed a size drop already. Pounds and inches, remember its not always the weight. I haven't been to a beach in years lol. But I sure am enjoying the hot weather we have had the last few weeks.
Glad you have no hunger. I never did either during my rounds.

    Your doing great!!!!!

Lol. Well still good job. I didn't weigh today as we have a power outage and I just feel like I am up in weight. I am just going to be careful all day and then weigh tomorrow or I might do a steak day today.

Well hope your all doing well. ☺

I am not. The other day I woke up and realized I hit 140
I think I will attribute most of the weight gain to when I was with my brother at the hospital. It had finally caught up to me
    I am since down 2lbs
But to be where I am comfortable, I have another few lbs to go
So really trying to adhere to the foods I know I can eat and avoiding all else
Hopefully this works out by next weekend

Sorry to hear that Jayk. It seems that it takes so little to get thrown off track. Any change in schedule, sleep patterns, stress levels...on and on.

Hope things level out for you soon.

I'll let you know tomorrow how I'm doing. Steak day for me today. Feeling good though. Its so nice to have your clothes fitting well and even hanging off you in some cases. I'm trying to focus on that for as long as it lasts.

Steak day brought me back down 2 pounds. So now just .4 over LIW at 136.4. Such a relief.

Now to see if I can keep the loss. I'm always hopeful.

140 is my red line, too, Jayk. I don't want to see anything with that 4 there again. I guess maybe that's progress, because the thing that drove me to do this last round was seeing a 5 looming dangerously close.

That's awesome Leez. Glad it brought it down. It is such a relief to see the drop. I hear you there, seeing that 4 just made me feel awful, and more determined to figure this out.
One thing I have learned from this seeing the 40, is I think I used to give up, then start eating other things. Whereas now I stick with what I know I can eat, and go from there. Try to mix up my days with different but safe food.

Keeping on and not giving up. That is the key it seems. Eventually we have to figure it out, right? I'm hoping to get to that point where I know there is some kind of eating pattern that will bring me back down without the correction days. You and Rose seem to have found your formulas, but mine still eludes me.

I had a lovely surprise this morning, showing another .2 loss from the day after steak day. That almost never happens for me. So I am celebrating! Only .2 from LIW now. I"m trying another day from this P3 that didn't produce a gain today. If that works, my plan is to try to analyze why those two days were safe.

Well....congrats so far Leez... for making this P3 a success!!!! I tend to be conservative on P3 and stick to meats fish and chicken two fruits per day and plenty of veggies. And bacon...and butter... i do use almond butter to make my cocoa treat with truvia.... beyond that i stick to fruits like berries, apples and melons during the summer.

I just got back from three plus weeks travel. Scale moved from 133-135 Was going to wait till tomorrow to weigh but bit the bullet. Right on the mark at 135.0 After a few days hope to hover under that number for cushion, I have been eating lots of nuts while driving 10 hrs per day so calorie count higher than i prefer but happy im still at my goal weight and under LIW BTW did enjoy a toasted spicy Italian sandwich on multi grain flat bread with provolone spinach onions and spicy mustard from Subway. It was sooooo good. I dont eat grains often but sure tasted good

Great news Rose, it sounds like you have really achieved a good stability. The sandwich sounds great. Sometimes you just need a real sandwich once in a while.

For me, not a good weigh in this morning. I'm up 2 whole pounds today and from a day that was previously a non-gaining menu. That puts me over my window, but its too soon to do another steak day, so I may just get to keep the gain. I'm not happy about that, but nothing to be done except keep on and hope it will drop at least some by tomorrow.

One more week left in P3.

    EDIT:
I noticed that today my abdomen is quite bloated. So I decided to do the inflammation smoothie for lunch to see if I can get the water retention down sooner. I'm thinking I may just sip on bone broth the rest of the day rather than try to eat more when I'm already feeling this way. But if I do get hungry later, I will eat something.
