Ugh, tell me about it. It snowed yesterday and the white stuff is still on the ground today. It was in the 30's most of today. April is not supposed to be like this for days on end, but we are supposed to be 20 degrees under the norm for the rest of the week. What makes it worse is that I have to deal with the HCG chill as well. I thought I was going to be mostly safe from that by starting in mid March. Wrong I was.

Double whammy for you then. I feel cold a lot as well lately. This isn't how April should be. I did manage to take the dogs for a run yesterday.. the dogs not me lol. Today we had some wet snow, so didn't get to go out with them.

The weather among other things has me feeling a bit down, and so haven't weighed yet. I know I need to weigh in, so will most likely try to remember tomorrow morning and go from there. I am not feeling like I have lost anything.

I need to rebound somehow, and am sure I will find a way. I eventually do

Looks like tomorrow will be my last VLCday. I was going to stop today (so I can be out of P3 by my Jamaica trip), but somehow that traitor, talking scale, decided to add a POUND to my number. EEK. So I have one injection left and tomorrow will be it, and that will be my LIW.

Even if nothing happens tomorrow, I'll be ending under my goal weight, but only by half a pound. So it looks like I'll get about an 11 pound drop from this short round. I feel a bit cheated in a way, because I mysteriously gained 2 pounds right before loading, and then had nearly a 2 pound load gain on top of that. So there went my plan to get about 5 pounds under goal. Oh, well best laid plans and all of that...

Hope everyone is doing well and maintaining. We finally got a break in the weather. It was barely 30 in the beginning of the week, but from here on into next week, our projections are the sunny high 70's and even 80's. I'm loving it!

I went shopping last night in a short sleeved T (awesomeness!), and found a great-fitting pair of Vera Wang dark wash jeans in a 6, and a super cute high/low sundress that I plan to use as a nightgown because it is so soft and comfy (but not bra-friendly because it has a split back). OMGosh....its a size small. That still feels so strange to me. I'm starting to throw things in my suitcase now, but there will lots of editing before the trip, I'm sure.

Awesome Job Leez, even with your setbacks on your plans... I would still say you have done great. As we know , you couldn't have lost what you did without the diet.

I am jealous of your weather. It has warmed up some, and will be 70's by the weekend.

Must have felt great out in a T shirt, and buying new clothes. So exciting to look forward to a trip. I am super Happy for you

Well I found my push I needed, and got past my low feeling. I weighed in and am down 1.5 lbs. I will take it and continue on with more P3 style eating for a bit.

I hope everyone else is doing well

I'm glad you had a good weigh in. That does a lot to lift dreary spirits, for sure.

I know I'm going to be hearing the Jaws theme in the background when I approach talking scale tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Happy news for me today! I dropped that weird gain from yesterday plus another .4. I'm very jazzed about that.
That means a total loss: 12.6 for this 28 dose round, and average of .45 a day. My LIW is 133, which is also the weight I reached on my goal round many moons ago, and then never saw again after a rocky P3. So this makes me pretty happy.

It is also interesting to me that I had a better average daily loss with this round than I did with the previous one in which I had added lipotropics. (.45 as compared to .4) and only a pound more lost last time even though the round was 9 days longer. That pretty definitively tells me that lipotropics didn't help. I did better without them.

This round was mentally harder though, because I lost the first 10 pounds by the end of week 2, and then the rest just in dribs and stops of just a bit over a pound a week in the last 2 weeks. That was frustrating, because the great start made it look like I was going to be able to lose 15 for the round. But that did not happen.

Regardless, I'm happy with the results and even happier to be moving on to P3 on Monday. If I'm lucky, I'll lose a bit more and have a cushion going into P3.

How did you do today, Jayk?

And happier news.... I lost another pound. It's rather astonishing after two weeks of losing a pound a week. That gives me the start of a good cushion going into P3 on Monday. I've done a couple rounds where I had no cushion at all, and the P3s were pretty rocky, so I'm feeling quite fortunate.

P3 today! I have to say this has been a pretty much picture perfect round. Losses as good or better than other rounds, not a spec of hunger so no dose adjustments needed. I sailed through the whole round on 125iu. No bathroom issues (a biggie). A below LIW cushion of --count 'em-- over 2 pounds! Today I dipped into 130 for the first time in over 30 years. It feels amazing.

Hunger started showing its munchy little face late last evening, so it was a little hard to stay asleep last night, but that is the first time I can remember going into P3 hungry. It generally takes me a day or two into P3 for hunger to awaken again. I think this is significant, because it should work that way. Maybe enough healing has gone on over the past couple of years that my body is working more normally. I've always wondered if that lack of hunger was because my body released the HCG slower than normal. If so, that would explain why my first week is always so volatile if I'm starting it with HCG still in my system.

My strategy for this P3 is to push green vegetables & leafies with as many meals as possible. Usually I avoid them the first few days to leave room for more calorie-dense foods. So it will be an interesting experiment. I'm still making cocoa crack today though. Some things should not be messed with.

I think that might be what I discovered on my last round too - that my body processes HCG slower as well and I was never hungry at any time - including the beginning, middle, or end of the rounds. This could be why I'd have an immediate two lb. gain when I added fats the first couple of days of P3, but if I ate the same food without the added fats (butter and oils) I only gained .2 of a pound.

Even though I went into P3 hungry this time, I still had that 2+pound jump after the first day. I dropped most of that a couple days in, and now have picked it up again. All while not changing much except increasing calories and protein as I go. So while slow dissipation might be a factor, it doesn't seem to be the whole story. On all my rounds except this one, I didn't have hunger until a day or two into P3. Some of those rounds were volatile, but on a couple, I stayed under LIW for most of the first week.

You'd think I'd have this rollercoaster week of P3 figured out by now. But I am apparently a very slow learner.

We all know it is definitely a "rollercoaster"! Since you've reached a new low weight, do you think your body is also fighting to return where you were before the round?
