Except for a couple months this year and the one 6 month stretch between rounds I was totally on FMD, my body seems always to be fighting to go higher, except when I'm in P2.

Right now, to keep things in perspective, I'm not technically fighting anything yet, since I have another pound+ before I breach my window. But the way things are going, tomorrow could be the day. If so, I'm prepared to put up the fight to keep my results. I feel like if I can make it to next week without a steak day, I should be good from there on.

    Hey Leez

Glad to hear you made it okay with that 2 lb cushion going into P3. Always a bonus to have a cushion. I know it can be a rollercoaster for you, where as me I haven't had any issues yet with P3

My issue always starts in P4 after 4-8 weeks.

I wish you the best and good luck during P3 . For myself I know I have to stay with not adding in too much too soon, and start out with foods I know that haven't given me issues in the past.

Right now I am still doing that. I haven't added in any new foods and starting to get outside more , as it has finally warmed up more here. It is so windy here today though, and one can hardly walk in it as it pushes
I am going to keep trying on my own to get down those lbs and see what happens in the next week or so.

How's it going Jayk? I hope you are having success with your plan.

P3D11 for me so half-way through. I'm about a half pound below LIW, which makes me happy. First trip out to a restaurant today for dinner. We'll see how that goes.

It went great. No gain. A second restaurant meal the next day produced a small loss today!

I think the P3 shaping is finally kicking in. Over the past couple of days, there is a noticeable shrinkage of the stubborn pudge layer on my midsection. I'm able to wear some body-con things without feeling puffy, which is very nice.

I've got exactly a week before my beach trip. I'll be in P3 the day we travel and the day after, so that should work out fine. Busy prep week ahead for me. And....some shopping.

Hey Leez... Glad to hear the restaurant trips went well for you. I have been so busy all week. We are short handed at work. I didn't weigh today as I woke up at a different time.. But I am feeling a little less weight in my midsection and legs wearing my jeans. So I hope I am on the right track. I will most likely weigh Monday Morning as that is my normal time to get up.

So excited for you, one more week

I hope this vacation goes well like others you have taken. No gains and perhaps a loss. But most importantly have fun!!!!!

It is a beautiful weekend here, so getting outdoors to do some things. I need to fertilize my yard, and taking the dogs on a walk Yay!!!

Yes, its beautiful here too. It looks like I will "escape" to the beach just when it finally has warmed up here. Ah well. It's all good, as there is no beach here!

Glad to hear you feel like you are on the right track. I think part of what is happening for me is that I have been doing friendly days from the Plan that are P3 compliant but don't include dairy. Although I'm still using half&half in my coffee. I did one day without it, but that was a sad day. Both restaurants we went to are on my friendly places list (and shall remain!).

I forgot how much I liked the flax granola. And it seems to agree with me this time.

I love the fragrance, its really beautiful.

A break from hot flashes? I can only dream....

Hoping for a good number tomorrow. I don't feel puffy, so maybe.
I had to go back to that thread, as the reprieve only lasted a week. Unfortunately the night sweats have been so bad some nights that I wake up literally drenched. I keep wishing it would end finally

I haven't tried making it again, but am going to perhaps this week. I was almost tempted to order it once, just to see what it is supposed to be like and how it should taste. Lol

I use the instructions in the new recipe section at the back of the Plan book. Country-something granola. I just make a half recipe at a time. That fills two cookie sheets, or two trays on my dehydrator. Even if I make it in the dehydrator, I still finish it in the oven after I break it up. It gets a nutty flavor that way and really crisp.

I'm on week 2 of P4 and have been fairly steady at 3-4 lbs over my last day of P2. I've had lots of meetings and events lately where I had to eat out so I'm doing well considering. I'm hoping to eat clean and hold steady for the next couple weeks and then I go on vacation for a week where I will mostly eat and drink like a crazy person. When I get back I will get back on the clean eating bandwagon and try to get back down to end of P2 weight for the rest of the summer. In the fall I might do another round, depending on where I'm at weight wise and mindset wise.

I have the new Plan book and it doesn't say much except to spread it thin and bake for 50 min, then break it up and bake another 40-50 minutes.
So it is supposed to be crispy then...
    I will try again

Have an awesome trip Leez!!!! talk to you when you get back.

Okay I am done with trying to get back down to where I want to be. I have started a new round , today is my first loading day.

I am happy with my decision, as I should be back in P3 for my daughters Grad in June.. Yay

I hope everyone is doing fine.

I hope the round goes well for you. I'm so glad I did this last one. It went by really fast too. Maybe because it was so smooth dose and hunger-wise. I hope it works that way for you this time.

I had a great time away--lots of beach time, which is the way things outta be! I was careful to avoid my problem foods as much as I could while away, but did enjoy some local delicacies and ate well and often.

The day after traveling back, the scale showed a frightening 3 pound gain, so I ate lightly that day. That was no hardship, because we were so fatigued from a travel day. Over the last few days the number has dropped off and today I'm 131.4 today--1.6 pounds BELOW LIW.

What? That never happens. That is a 4 pound drop over 3 days. I did do an inflammation smoothie Monday night, because I had some ribs out at a restaurant that had some sauce brushed on them that I'm almost sure had some corn syrup in it, one of my worst sensitivities. I either tolerated it, or the smoothie helped, because I did have a drop the next day. Either way, I somehow dodged that bullet.

My usual pattern is to lose from a travel day (because of dehydration) and then gain it back quickly the next day or so. So this is a new response. Although, since I didn't weigh while away, maybe I did lose from an even higher number...will never know for sure.

I went bra shopping this week at VS and got remeasured. OMGosh. My new size is 32DDD. 32? Me? I can't wrap my mind around it. I bought a whole new bra wardrobe, including the most comfortable tshirt bras I've ever owned. No underwire, and yet super-supportive and even produce cleavage. I don't know how they did that, but I'm loving it. I tossed all my old bras yesterday and have embraced the new size. P3 reshaping has changed my pants size as well. All my sixes are baggy and hanging on me now. So that will be my next shopping quest, to get a pair each of shorts, capris and jeans that fit now.

If you are a VS lover, check these out the next time you are there:

Its the bra in the top row. I almost bought that tropical one--so pretty. I may have to go back for that.
