So, we lost the last two weeks worth of posts because of the reversion to the old forum style. So I'll try to update.

As I remember, I was revelling in the fact that I was staying below LIW by as much as 2 pounds. It was awesome.

However, now the party seems to have ended and I'm pretty much at LIW (133) most days, give or take a few ounces. But I'm not complaining. I'm entering the 3rd week of P4, so staying at LIW is pretty wonderful. I did inch up to .2 over my limit one day last week. I did a modified steak day and was down 2 pounds the next. So thats a total of only 2 steak days so far, and there was a week long trip thrown into the mix as well.

    Hope everyone is doing well!

That's still great news Leez. I know closer to the 130 is where I wish to get as well, but usually I stay around the 133 or 134 mark as well. I hope things stay the same for you.

I have another week of P2 to do, and it's going well. I have lost lbs and inches, so happy about that

My daughters grad is June 8, so will be P3 by then and able to enjoy a dinner out that is planned. I bought a whole bunch of stuff from my online health store, so can't wait to get it and start P3, and go from there.
Each time I do a round, I hope to at least learn something from the previous time where I start to gain and one day eventually hope to keep stable if I avoid those foods.

Rose... I hope all is well with your husband ... Thoughts and support are with you

Wow, only a week left? I hope you have a great last week rally.

You know, when I do the ideal weight calculator things that include age, it puts the low end of my ideal weight range at around 138, so according to that, I'm underweight at 133. But I know from how my body looks in this range that my optimum is 128-130. At 130, the omentum & midriff "puff" is no longer there.

    P4, week 4

I find myself doing a correction day today, after having pound jumps the last couple of days. I did have a couple iffy food items, but can't really isolate anything in particular. I did a correction 6 days ago, so that is too close together, but it seems to happen to me each round that after about a month of P4, I start gaining again. I sure hope I can get control of that this time.

I'm going to try to follow this correction day with some friendly days from The Plan this time and see if that can make a difference.

I know the feeling very well. What are you planning for your friendly days. I still wish I could do the plan, but with working , it just won't work for me with the lunches

I still remember sdwis post in alternative to steak days, and try to do similiar

A New Alternative to STEAK DAYS!!!

I know this time around I am going to try very hard to only add one new food , then wait a day or so before a new food. Doesn't always work out that way for me, but hoping to stick to it this time.

Good luck with whatever you are trying.

The correction dropped 2 pounds. The problem now is that I was almost 3 pounds over, so I didn't quite make it back to LIW. Hopefully, the friendly days plan will finish the job.

swis's day sounds like sadness to me. I'm not sure I could stand the deprivation. ^_^ I've found I get the same results from a hybrid steak day as a regular one, so that's mostly what I do, and I can either use a Fage/berry breakfast or a chia pudding/berry one and they both work. I did the chia one yesterday.

My friendly days are any of the first 4 Plan days and one or two others. They are basically vegan high fat days with protein from veggies and seeds. So I just pick whatever one I have the ingredients for and do it. (Although I don't do the whole water timing thing, I just follow the menus.)

I have another friendly day from one of my P3 blogs I called "magic menu". Its basically a Phase 1 day from FMD (the fruit/grain days). Sometimes I use the H-burn smoothie as a meal on those days just because I really like it.

Thanks for posting what you do for friendly days. I was curious as I haven't done the plan. I had thought about trying that myself if I need to down the road, as the recipes looked good to me. So that is why I asked.

I was thinking they sure couldn't hurt to use those days to try and correct.

I am sure feeling ready for new foods.. Always feel this way a few days before P3. Starting to get tired of it. 30 days is plenty long enough for me. Almost there.

30 days is up on next Tuesday, then wait 48 hours and I can finally have some bacon

    Lol... can't wait

mmm.....bacon. It never loses its appeal. I'm having it for dinner today, in fact. I'm going to make BLT romaine lettuce boats with avocado. Every once in a while, I need something that's good with mayo to feel like I'm living a normal life.

So, friendly day brought me down another half pound which puts me just .2 above LIW. A much better place to be.

I know what you mean about 30 days being plenty long. I was SO ready to be done this last time. I'm not sure I could handle a long round now after doing so many of them. So I had better make sure that I don't need to.

Yes it is long enough for sure. I have done enough too. I keep hoping its the last time.

Those BLT boats sounds delicious .... yummy. I have to have mayo as well as it tastes so good with all that.
There are some new mayo's out there I hope to find and try. Renee's had a good mayo, then quit for some reason, or I sure can't find it here anymore. It was a healthy mayo as far as store bought goes.

That's awesome , that your down... Your heading in the right direction it seems ... Yay

I've been using the Vegenaise soy-free. It uses a sub-optimum oil, but has no eggs.

Interestingly, I made a mistake my first day of P3 and put Primal Kitchen Avocado mayo on something, which has eggs in it--one of my more severe sensitivies. The jars had the same color lid, and I thought I was using the Vegenaise. Fuzzy eyes, I guess. I had a 2+pound gain after that first day of P3, but I have no idea if it was reaction or just food volume, since I usually have a big gain after day 1. But I haven't been brave enough to test it again. I would prefer to use a mayo with a good oil, but I don't want to have to make it myself.

Oh okay.. I have never tried that one.

Wow I don't blame you to want to try again. I hate when that happens, and one buys the wrong item, thinking it's the correct one

I want to try the Mayo with Avocado oil . I may have to order it, as I can't find it anywhere here.
