Good job Rose with the stabilizing! as you can see I'm not doing so well.
If you don't want to do another true correction day, you can do a liquid fast day where you drink coffee, tea, and water all day and have no food. I sometimes do this the day after a correction day to drop a couple more pounds, you can ever combine this with a detox bath, and it should work for you.

Down to only 1 lb up today. That liquid day sounds like an idea. I have done protein shake days as well before that o lost very well on. I want to get back down to ldw then start working on losing another 5-8 lbs.

    Hi all!
Rose- It looks like you have come home to some serious heat in TX! Stay cool and keep drinking your water. I know somewhere you posted that you were drinking a lot of water still and I think I need to be doing more of that. We are hot here too....but nothing like the Lone Star State!
Tanya- looks like you did a great job of recovering from your time away. Are you going to just try to diet/exercise off the last 5-8 lbs or are you doing another round of HCG
    ATK- are you around somewhere?

AFM- I'm holding pretty steady at about 1#over LIW, with fluctuations depending on carbs, saltiness or whether I'm retaining fluid in my muscles. I've gone back to my bootcamp at the gym and am getting ready to start lifting some heavy weights again. (we'll see how that goes!) I'm working a eating plan that keeps me well fed, but cycles my macros depending on whether I am on a control day or a work out day. I love this way of eating to fuel my body. Honestly I'm eating more than I ever have and there are no restrictions as to what kinds of foods I can have. I generally choose whole foods though and limit anything truly sugary (like maple syrup) to part of my pre workout / post work out meal. I am a big veggie eater, but not an especially big fruit eater....though I do manage either blueberries or some grapefruit nearly everyday...I missed so many things like peanut butter or almond butter when I was on HCG! So I also do some cycling of calories so that I am eating less on control days but fueling adequately on workout days.....I don't want to lose weight as I much as I want to build muscle and burn some fat. May not see a big change on the scale, but I did see a small change in my waist measurement over the last month and also in my hips, so it seems to be working. As long as I'm not gaining, I'll keep eating!

Yes, happy to be home but miss the cool weather in Michigan .... Eating very well yesterday (lots) and sitting exactly at goal weight of 140. Last night got hungry at dinner time so fixed some ground grass fed beef sauteed in butter with onions, yellow peppers and mushrooms....and strawberries too. Lunch was steamed green beans and tilapia and did breakfast at fast food because i had my annual physical yesterday and could not eat in the morning so breakfast was one fried egg, one sausage patty and two pcs bacon and an apple.

    Good morning

    Hello All,
Yesterday, I started P4. I'm not doing a traditional P4 because I didn't stabilize in P3 well. I am trying the fast metabolism diet. Another poster had tried this diet and it helped her to reintroduce gains without gaining... so I'm giving it a try.
Wednesday night was my last night in P3 and the hubs asked me for a date night-- yep yep!! We left the kiddos home and what do you think we did?! We went out to eat. We went to a surf and turf place and I ordered well. I did have 1 bite of a fried potato but really wasn't interested in the flavor-- same thing with the saffron rice. But I did go wild and had an ice cream for dessert. I gained over 3 lbs the next morning.. Just crazy!!!-- that was yesterday morning.
So I started my fmd 3 lbs heavier...
I had no trouble staying on the plan all day---the food was good, clean and satisfying. Yesterdays menu was:
breakfast-rolled steel oats and pineapple smoothie
    snack-orange
lunch-nitrate free organic turkey deli meat with lettuce, tomato, onion, mustard on sprouted bread
    snack- Asian pear
dinner- chicken and barley soup (my portion was 5 cups!!!)

I was so frightened that I was going to be higher this am, but I lost 1.2 lbs. YAYA!!!! So today, I'm 143.2...
    So far, so good.
I am missing sipping on my coffee in the morning hours-- but I want to stick to the plan as best as I can.
Today, I get to exercise- cardio... NOT my favorite.

Rose- you're an inspiration with your eating. I hope to be there one day. And welcome home. It must nice sleeping in your own bed.

River57- you're my inspriration with working out! I wish we lived closer- I would find you to be a great workout partner.

    Tanya- Hello to you!

    Tanya- Hello to you!
I could use a good workout partner! My boot camp group is great, but I'm really am moving more towards the weight lifting and wishing I had a partner for that. I'm thrilled to hear that you lost some weight! Maybe your body was just craving the starches. Chicken and Barley soup is a favorite of mine! Will make it when the weather cools a bit here. It would make an awesome pre workout breakfast! I'll be following along to see how you do!
AFM- I had some measurements done yesterday...was down a smidge in the waist, about a half inch in the hips and my bodyfat percentage was down....but it's really hard to know about the BF% because they use calipers and they aren't all that accurate, not to mention that when you get be my age, and lose some weight there tends to be a lot of loose skin.....But I'm not gaining and that is what matters right now. I must be getting stronger, as I did 10 pushups in a row yesterday on my toes so that's up from the 4 I was able to do when I first started back to boot camp. I actually had to do a descending ladder of them but 10 was the most I could string together before I had to go down to my knees. I'm proud of that and I'm proud of you for doing what you need to do to get yourself settled. You are a fighter! And tomorrow I must go buy some pineapple because that smoothie sounds like the bomb!

I tried FMD. couldn't afford it. did it in the winter when veggies are sky high!! also, the different foods for different days really thru me off. my days are hectic enough!
that's one thing I haven't been eating well. veggies. not enough for sure! still hanging on to my one last lb.
forgot I ate oatmeal for breakfast and ate a sandwich for lunch. I don't gain with either when I don't eat them on the same day. cant remember if I did before. I guess I will find out!

I think what im doing to maintain is basically the THM which is basically P3 but with some extra fruits and eating low fat when i eat grains or starches So far so good. Day 38 i think of P4. This just suits me very well since if i am hungry i eat some protein or a T of peanut butter in between meals or some almonds or pecans . Occasionally i save my fruit for mid day snack Still drinking about 80 oz water daily i try to eat some raw salad veggies each day plus a cooked veggie .

Tanyamac- that's interesting about how you felt it was costly. I can definitely see how it would cost more in the winter. I'll have to give that some thought- if it does work out for me--
right now, I felt it was doable. I think I spent about $200 for a months worth of food. And that included everything- spices, produce, proteins, everything. And that included all the extra meals that I get from the recipes- as most of the dinners are portioned at 6-8 servings.. sometimes, I give my kids and hubs the other portions, and still have 1-2 servings left to freeze-- that helps cut the cost.
The book does say that you could use canned, frozen or fresh.. so I guess if this plan works as my maintenance, and I want to try again after another round in the fall/winter- I would have to consider the frozen if the prices of the fresh produce are higher.
The preparation isn't as bad as I had anticipated. but it is still work.. If I didn't have the meal recipes or the specific phase food list- then I would be lost too.

I wish I could have gotten some of my friends to go on the plan. Meeting outside for a lovely patio dinner with a group of people on the same plan-- sounds nice in theory... but no one wanted this type of structured diet.

Either way-- so far, it has helped me to stabilize. I now have grains back in my diet and my scale isn't making leaps and bounds in an upward motion.
I'm 5'2" and curvy in nature
    Round 1- starting weight 184.6
    LIW-159
    end of P4- 164
    Round 4- starting at 152
    LIW ( only 30 days)- 134.4
    P3- 138.4
    Round 5- starting 143
    LIW- 125.6
