I got the Primal Kitchen one at Costco (for the DH), but I think Whole Foods carries it.

I'm usually so careful with my food problems. I even use different utensils and pans to cook eggs and corn things for DH.

    Are you in P3 yet?

I'm battling staying away from the top of my window, but still in it. I'm kind of weary of the few proven friendly days I have, so have been changing things up a bit. Yesterday I did a chia breakfast and then ate deep S the rest of the day, which brought me down some. Today will be a mostly E day with an S dinner salad. Its not that the friendly days are hard, its just that they get boring after a while, and I want to eat some normal stuff, like toast & fruit for breakfast

I will have to check Costco for that, next time I go. I have to renew my card anyway.

Today was my first day of P3, and it was my daughters grad... Had to get up early and leave early , so didn't have time for any breakfast. I did have the Bulletproof in my coffee this morning, and that tasted so good, and made me feel good later.
Had veggies and chicken for lunch, and a Caesar salad for supper, as the restaurant we all went to for supper didn't really have anything that I could have that probably would have a sugar in it
It was like a BBQ joint and everything had sauces or breading on it. It all looked good, but I was fine with salad

Went to La Vie En Rose, and got a new bra & panties, and some new sleepwear. A tank shirt and cute shorts
Also got a pair of Levi shorts as well ... Had a great day!!!

Yeah I know what you are saying about wanting to eat normal stuff, like toast & fruit , among other things without having to struggle with it, and then end up doing friendly days, or steak days

I will enjoy P3 while I can lol, before I get back into that P4 dilemma . Always starts out good for me, but then something goes to heck and so hard to get back down.

Once I am there, I am going to try and go slower yet and make sure I weigh in daily again.

I love the hcg, because I can lose the weight, but I don't want to have to keep doing a round to get myself back down again. I have to find some sort of balance that will work for me. There were a couple items I tried last time, and am going to omit this time around.

But will not worry about it yet... Can't get too far ahead of myself.

Agreed. My holy grail right now is to be able to stay at goal without having to do yet another round. So how is it going?

I'm still right at the top of my window (135) but that is my goal weight (and my drivers license weight ), so I can't complain too much. I would really like to settle out at 130, but my body does not seem to be able to hold that number. I dipped into it a couple times during P3, and even during the beginning of P4. I was getting hopeful because the last time I saw that number was after an E day. Which is pretty amazing considering your body holds more water to process carbs.

I ate freely over the weekend, so I think I'm mentally up for a friendly day today, which will be day 2 of the Plan cleanse. I won't be doing it exactly, because I've started seed-cycling in the never-ending quest to vanquish the hot flashes. But I'll replace the sunflower seeds with pumpkin and I am assuming I'll be fine, since that menu includes both of them anyway.

I know why is it so hard to get down to 130.. Last time I came close as well. Right now I stay between 134 and 136

That is my goal as well

I would like to try a new coffee after in P4 awhile, called Slim Roast Optimum by Valentus. My rep here , her and her husband have done well. The first coffee she had she lost 2lbs, and she has some clients who lost 4lbs overnight.

I did buy the Baobob THM powder and have used it a couple times so far.

I hope the seed cycling goes well for you. Maybe I will try it if it works for you.

I was curious though, how we figure what days to start it, after reading this

Follicular Phase: Day 1 to Day 14, or until ovulation:

1 tablespoon each freshly ground raw flax seeds and pumpkin seeds daily.

Luteal Phase: From Day 15 (about) to 28, or until menses:

1 tablespoon each freshly ground raw sunflower and sesame seeds daily.
I am so tired of the flashes/Night Sweats as well..

If you are in menopause, you can just pick a time and start. I read a suggestion that its a natural thing for your body to align with the lunar phases so decided to go with that. I signed up with MoonGiant for a notification at the new moon (follicular phase) and for the full moon (luteal phase) so a get a reminder of when to switch seeds. I'm also taking fish oil with the flax/pumpkin seed phase, and GLA (borage oil) for the sunflower/sesame seed phase.

I just have to figure out where to put the other things like DIM and progesterone cream.

Supposedly it takes a couple three cycles to give you results, but I've already noticed I'm not sleeping as lightly. So maybe something is starting to happen after about a month.

Hey Leez- I used to feel the same way about making mayo but if you have an immersion blender itís so easy. It literally takes seconds to whip up. After I made it one time, I never looked back.

I have made my own mayo with the immersion blender in the past, and you are right. It's super easy. The main reason I don't do that now is that I can't use eggs. I haven't been able to find an eggfree mayo recipe I like and the texture is never right. So I get the soy-free vegenaise. Not ideal, but it at least tastes like mayo to me.

Wow, a couple weeks since I've posted here.
Weightwise, I'm a little above my window right now and trying to get back down in it. I have to stop steak days for a while, because of rebound gains. I find that for me, once I'm well into P4, steak days seem to cause more problems than they help. So I'm exploring other avenues.

I'm onto a new experiment. I've discovered kefir and have found I really like it. It's like buttermilk with a much milder sour and a lovely thick creamy consistency. I never cared for buttermilk, but this tastes so much better to me, I can drink it straight. I'm trying to include some everyday in the hopes that it will make my daily magnesium supplementation no longer necessary. So far, I've cut back on the milligrams quite a bit and things are still moving along, so I'm hopeful. Its possible it could also help with keeping my weight reigned in if all the extra buggies improve my digestion process, so that is something I'm watching as well.

I'm using goat kefir and double-fermenting to reduce carbs further. If I see that this experiment is successful, I may get some milk kefir grains and try making my own. I should be fine with cow kefir, as I don't have a dairy sensitivity. I started with goat for easiest digestibility (and because it sounds exotic. )

Had a great time on the fourth at a friends barbecue and ate carefully, so I didn't get a gain from that. It was fun watching all the young guys set off fireworks after dark. We had almost a 2 hour show.

    Hi Leez

Glad to hear from you. I know for me the steak days don't always do the trick either. I also got above my window.. So soon already. I just started P4 a week ago. I know I incorporated a few things to many as it was a long weekend, and I was craving some different foods.

I slept in both days here on the weekend, or at least past my normal waking time, so will weigh in the morning to see where I am at

I have incorporated Baobob Boost Powder daily, BCAA supplements, and try to do the Brain Octane and a Whey Protein in the mornings. Don't know really if any of it helps or not, but figured it is good for me to take

My focus is to get back on track this week.

Hope the Kefir works out for you and glad you had an awesome 4th of July

    Hey everyone!!
It's been a trying 2 years for me. I stopped working to care for my mother who, at the time, refuse to tell us what her true diagnosis was. I lost my mom last Feb. During those 2 years, I did NOT take care of myself. I guess I was just overwhelmed and gorged. I gained back all the weight that I had worked so hard to lose. I was in denial. I kinda still am. I tried to begin a round several times, but within a week- fell off the plan. I just couldn't get myself to commit.
It is somewhat freeing to come on here and spill my guts. Although, as difficult as that was-- I know staying committed is the difficult part for me now. I never had a problem staying committed but we always have new obstacles to overcome. I started a round last week and so far, so good. Is there a July loaders group-- I looked and couldn't find anything flagged.
I hope all my hcg friends are stabilized.
I did pop in last winter and lurked around.. but my loss was too new and I couldn't keep a clear head.

Hi kapluzie, so sorry to hear you've had a rough time and so much sadness. It is a daunting thing to face having to do this all over again, but you can do it. It always helps me to post a lot when doing a round. It think it helps keep me focused and accountable.

The July loader's thread is here: July 2018 Loaders - Gotta do it

I'm still battling the creep. Still a couple pounds above my window. My plan this week is a string of 3 friendly days to see if I can reverse the trend. Just have to keep after this and try to figure out my formula.

I'm enjoying the kefir, but I'm not recognizing any particular benefits yet. I tried a couple days without magnesium and had to go back on. Maybe I need to up the amount of kefir. A friend has offered me some grains, which will help because it will be less expensive to make my own.

    Hi Leez.
Thanks for the encouraging words. Sorry to hear that you are still battling the creep. You have gained valuable information and insight over the years and thankfully shared it with us. I am thankful for those that blog about their p3 experiences. I find their words inspirational and soothing. Even if they haven't succeeded. I have a long haul ahead of me and look forward to being here the entire time.
