Yes, I'm looking at it exactly that way. 28 days and then move on!

I know they will want me to stay gluten free, so a big part of my preparation has been to find a good gluten-free bread I can enjoy. I've been working on a sourdough one, since it will be much less expensive to make my own. But if I can source the new Food For Life sprouted version, that will be great as well.

I have finally found a dairy-free creamer that I like (the new Blue Diamond Almond milk/pea protein one), so I'll be able to have that with my one (wimpers) allowed cup of coffee during the elimination phase.

    Hi everyone,
Leez- i agree with you, preparation is key. Determination is half the battle.
I'm still bouncing, with no weight loss. I'm about to cut my round short, as I am POP, but not losing. I'm not gaining either, but we have some family functions coming up in July and I'm thinking I'd like to be in P3/P4 for them. Since I'm not losing, I don't think a few days will make a difference.
I'm wondering if my dose was too high. I felt no hunger but weight loss stopped after tne second week.

Stalls of up to 10 days are normal, kapluzie. You might just be in one of them. I've had stalls of up to 11 days, and my ending daily average loss was not affected. So just something to consider.

But yes, doses that are too high can be responsible for poor losses, even if there are no hunger issues.

I have noticed, though, that there have been several reports lately of people having very low losses for an entire round (like around 5 pounds.) I don't remember seeing that at all several years ago. Maybe something is up with the current supplies, or possibly we are seeing more cases of immunity from long-term HCG users. I don't really know, but it does seem to be happening more often.

    Thanks Leez!
I am hoping it's not immunity. This is my first round in a years time. My stall lasted 3 weeks and I decided to end my round. 5 weeks and I lost 11 pounds (my loss occurred in tne first 2 weeks).
I'm thankful for losing 11 pounds. Now to stabilize.

Good job Kapluzie... 11lbs is still good. I wish you well on stabilizing

Here is hoping I don't stall the next couple weeks. Doing good so far. I didn't weigh this weekend as I wake up a bit later, so will see what the scale says in the morning. I am feeling better, that's for sure. And my jeans fit at least lol

I am going to try this Bread once I am in P4

Will let you know then if it's any good

I also tried the Millies sipping broth, tomato and basil. I love it, and it does help when I feel hungry or want a snack.

I am so glad for this store, as I can't buy a lot of those things locally

Broth in a tea bag. What a great idea! I like the ingredients in the baking mix you linked. That sounds like a good blend.

This is an easy to make keto bread recipe that I've made that is actually pretty good. And it doesn't use a lot of weird ingredients. You can cut the cinnamon and sweetener in half if you want it more "bready". Use golden flax meal for the best result. Also, pay attention to the egg measurement....my eggs were apparently pretty large, because it only took 5 to get to the liquid amount.

I know right. I so far have tried the Tomato Basil Broth in a tea bag. It was great and curbed my craving of snacks.

That Keto bread recipe looks good. Thanks for the recipe

Sounds like you are working your plan. 13 pounds is a respectable loss for a short round. Congrats! And happy birthday!

Happy Birthday Tanya.. Hope you had a good one. Yes 13lbs is great. Congrats. We all know any loss is great, cause without this diet, we don't seem to lose

My daughters birthday was this past Friday, but we spent yesterday with her and mostly shopped all day

I am still going until next week, as I have 6 or so lbs left to lose.

Hang in there Jayk. I always have to do extra self-pep talks that last week to keep strong. I hope you make your goal.

Update: I'm about a week into the elimination diet the FM doc/nutritionist recommended. Its pretty much a low carb diet, and it is not going too well, I've actually gained back a couple of the pounds I've lost and I'm not feeling well on it. I talked to the nutritionist and she says I can add some sweet potato etc but to try and keep away from grains for this 4 week test. That should help. I had already tried adding some extra fruit, and utilizing the 1/2 C beans a day that are allowed, but that apparently isn't enough for my greedy adrenals.

The other factor is that my last thyroid labs are showing that I've swung a bit hyper (just slightly beyond the ranges) and that may have accounted for losing slowly the last two months. Hopefully the diet and an increase in LDN will bring inflammation down and labs back into normal ranges.

At any rate, I'm going to thoroughly enjoy any weight loss the revved up thyroid gives me while I can.
