    Hi Leez and Rose

Glad to hear from you both and good to know you are safe and okay with all this Pandemic

I did a round in January, mostly cause my coworker wanted to try it. So far am doing okay, diet wise

Sorry to hear about your husband Leez, but glad he is on the mend. I have a friend who is Diabetic, been his whole life. This past couple years been hard on him.

My husband is still bed ridden. But he is getting movement in his legs, with the help of my son-in-law doing physio on his legs. Seeing we are in the rural, we don't get the same help as in cities. We just keep encouraging him that he will walk again. As for his Cancer it is in check so far, so that is good. We go April 16 for some bone treatment, that they need to do every 2 months, to keep his bones strong. So far that hasn't been cancelled. He was supposed to have some dental work done, but that got cancelled.

Trying to keep safe so we don't bring anything home to him.

So glad to hear from you JayK. I should have started another round in January but i was traveling and truly the reason was that my head was not in the game. So instead of needing to drop 10-15 lbs i need to drop 20. Nit going to make it this round and probably wouldnt do another round rightaway with all this virus.
So sorry to hear about your husband. My prayers extend to both of you during this difficult time.

Thank you Rose. I don't blame you right now to not do a round. It's best to just stay healthy and stay safe during this time.

I wish the weather would smarten up. We have had some warmer weather, but turned cold again last few days. Trying to get my Backdoor replaced. It's a sliding door, and having a French Door put in on the deck. At least until my husband may walk or not, can get the wheelchair through that much better.

Also had a new fridge delivered, but have to wait until the door is in place to install it. We have a chair lift installed at the front door, so couldn't bring it in the front door.

I am so glad to hear from you, and glad all is well.

I prob did not clarify lol I am in the middle of a round Today is 24 cvlcd Down 11 lbs I am not fast loser. I will try to end on tuesday and after 72 hrs will do planned interruption P3 for 7-10 days and go mix new batch of hcg and finish 11 more days for a longer round since my weight was higher this time.

We are actually cooler than normal but that means high 79sF instead of the 80s We are near the Gulf of Mexico so will start getting hot. I cannot tolerate the cold at all You are in beautiful geographical atmosphere but too cold for me

Prayers that you stay healthy and your husbands health improves . Stay in touch ❤️

Just posting here to keep thread alive I am about three weeks into P4 Weight is 140.8 which is 3.4 lbs below LIW Still eating well but not very hungry, Seems like about 1200 to 1400 cal Per day Works for me. Weight fluctuates within 1-2 lbs but below LIW I am only watching calories at this time to get an idea of what works for me to not add creeping lbs, It is still so early in P4 that it might not matter but the round i did last year i gained right away and i think it was because i never had my dose right from the beginning,

Glad to hear you doing good in P4 Rose. Wow sorry haven't posted sooner, the Covid got quite crazy in a town 15 minutes from me. Went from 3 one day to a hundred in just 3 days. Then went up to over a 1000 in no time. Seems now we only have a couple active cases. Things are sure different these days.

My husband just finally got his dental work done a week or so ago. We finally go to his oncologist next week, and he gets bone infusions done. He has more movement in his legs, but still not a lot of progress. Because of Covid he hasn't had any physiotherapy done. Hoping for them to assess his progress next week and hopefully get some sort of plan going for his rehabilitation.

The last couple months I caved and ate poorly, so back on this diet once more. P2 tomorrow for me. But I did finally have time to read on the diet I do want to follow. So this time once I am in Phase 4 I will be following Dr Kellyann Petrucci way of eating. I also read on Dr Anna Cabeca Keto 16. These two doctors are so similiar. I do recommend both their books. I just feel I like Dr Kellyann's way a bit better is all.

I just felt doing the HCG I don't have to plan too much and it works to get me where I need to be first. I don't know why but it gets me disciplined again, and I need that lol. I have so much going on and definitely need to take control again.

    Hope everyone is doing okay

Yes hcg is the only thing that gets me back to disciplined eating, I had to do a 40 day round this time due to 20 lb weight gain, usually i get serious after 10 Trying to be more mindful of what i eat in P4 I think it helps I follow about 3 threads but most people are on P2

Your doing awesome Rose. Well doesn't matter what phase we are all in. At least we all know how it works, and helps to keep us going, and helps newcomers to know what to expect.
I sautéed celery up with garlic and ginger for lunch with chicken. That's what I had yesterday and liked it.
I will most likely do 30 days, but will see how it goes.

    Hi EVERYONE!!
oh how I missed everyone. I am back to improve myself.
I've had a lot going on ( as we all have with COVID19). My oldest graduated high school and will hopefully be off to his college (RPI) in the fall. I want him to have the college experience but I am quite nervous about the COVID situation. My middle boy is doing well. My youngest finished middle school and is off to High School in the fall. He recently (almost 2 weeks ago) lacerated his spleen. He's off of all sports and activities for 10 weeks. So COVID is actually working in his favor right now as far as sports continuing. I have to have him take extra precautions as the spleen helps to fight off infections and his is compromised, giving me more anxiety.
For me- I don't know if I had mentioned previously- I started and now almost finished my Graduate Degree in Elementary Education. I only have my clinical experience left. All my classes are completed. I am quite proud of myself for accomplishing this as I too scared to embark on that journey for years.

Jayk- I am also thinking of doing 30 days. I just don't want to stick out those last few days where the weight loss is slow and it's grueling. My mind isn't in it. But who knows, maybe when I get closer to the 30th day, I'll change my mind.

I recently tried the 'old' Atkins and I lost 8 pounds the first week. The second week I lost nothing. I had a headache every day! But I was never hungry and had a hard time eating enough. I am thinking I may try Atkins style eating for P3. I believe it fits the criteria. I'm sure someone will pop in and let me know if I'm mistaken (please do!).

Rose- you look wonderful. I see you're in Texas now. Do you like Texas? I have family in Dallas. How are your art shows going?

Leez- I've been gone for a long time. I look forward to reading your latest commentaries on your nutritional escapades.
