    I love your idea of loading on the 4th of July-- with all those fatty ribs, cheeseburgers and all-- HAVE FUN!!

    Thank you. It was fun but didn't go into a food coma. Even got a leftover plate for today. So fish fry and clam bake tonight then chicken fish and green veggies all week.

    I started my loading today! So excited to finally start this diet. I would ideally need to lose 50 lbs, but on this round I am hoping for anywhere from 25-30. Good luck to those who start!

    Hello all happy HCGers... I would love to join in here..

    I'm a rookie in my very first round in P2 already loaded 2 days... And currently on VLCD8 ... It's going quite well and I feel like I'm in the groove... As of his morning I have lost 11 pounds��... Wow! Never in my life could I imagine to drop 11 pounds in 8 days, I'm hooked !!

    I'm followin the dr.s protocol and am not going to stray, I've wrapped my head around his phase and very excited to see where it bring me... I'll need more rounds for sure, I'm a chunky monkey ������

    Loading today

    Thanks for letting me join your group! Today is day one, I am not well prepared with foods and it's storming out so I started out with pancakes with peanut butter, butter, and syrup along with a couple of sausage links. I am not a breakfast person so ugh. My daughter brought home some sherbert last night but I just noticed that it is fat free so not going to even try that. I have been off of sweets for so long so everything seems to be a sickening sweetness. I guess I better get the umbrella out and plan a trip to the store because this is not starting out very well. lol

    Wow some of your losses are fantastic! I seem to be one of those slower losers because I lost much less than some of you, 20lbs in 36 days and I followed protocol to a T. This time I am not going to worry so much about the makeup and shampoo/conditioner and see how I do. If I'm not losing then I will switch them out.
    My husband started with me today too and he is completely on board so I think I am even more motivated this time around. Yeah!

    I'd love to join in if I could. I have done this twice in the past with great results, and I'm back to square one. I need to lose 25 lbs. I loaded over the weekend, so today is Day 2 of VLCD. Only a 1.8 loss this AM, but hey I'll take it. I generally lose 7 lbs. the first week, then it's about 3 lbs. per week going forward. I have also started a Beachbody DVD program, Slim in 6, which in the past has proven to be a great fat blaster. I'm ready. Feel gross and fat!

    Cool Happy Tuesday

    Hello ladies, vlcd9 today... I'm going to go to the farmers market in town today to see what veggie are freshly available .. Hoping for some juicy flavorful tomatoes

    I'm hoping this group starts to get active as I'm looking for all the support I can get... I need somebody to chit chat about all the hcg protocol , my sweet hubby is wonderful, but I find my mind completely consumed with this , and I know he smiles and listens .... But....lol... Come on, it's probably the last conversation he want to have daily...

    I can be a buddy for you LV2ski. I agree, these boards are not as active as they used to be. Sounds like you are doing great. I have never lost 11 lbs. in only 8 days ... cheers to you. I would LOVE to have those results. I'll be happy with down 7 lbs. by weigh in next Monday. I'm super unhappy with my weight right now, and I'd like to get back into the 120's. Last October I had a 30 year high school class reunion, and lost 27 lbs. I looked and felt great, but after it was over, I just lost all control. Well, apparently our High School is celebrating it's 60th Year Reunion and all classes are invited, and I keep getting invites on Facebook from all my friends about attending. Well, I can't go looking the way I do now ... they would be like "what the heck happened to you in the last 11 months!!' So sad that I can't do this for myself, but that vanity reasons keep more motivated.

    Hi Lv2ski, Yes, being on the diet is all consuming in the beginning. I found the easiest way was to make sure I had some good go to recipes. And a variety of them. How are you doing so far on it?

    All, Thanks for the constipation ideas. I will continue with my protocol of water, witch hazel, creams, magnesium, vit c, sitz baths. Getting my Mayinlong cream from Amazon today - so many rave reviews. Based on Traditional Chinese medicine. Will let you know. Checked out PoopDoc on Amazon - very expensive but awesome reviews as well.

    Broke my stall today - but only .4, was hoping for a biggie. Hoping it's the start of some good losses now.

    It's VLCD #3 today, and only down 1 lb., but at least it's going down. In prior rounds, when I weighed day #4, I had a larger loss, so I am crossing my fingers! Yesterday I ate steamed broccoli and chicken for lunch, and steak and mushrooms for dinner, and 1 orange as an evening snack. Didn't feel too hungry yesterday either, and I look forward to being a few weeks into this when you can feel and see the difference. But the support from this forum has always been so helpful to stay accountable!! So keep me in check girls!

    Good morning happy hump day, Vlcd11 for me today and all is good... Down .2 not very impressing but I'll take it... It's headed in the right direction...down down down.. Farmers market was a complete bust the other day apparently they don't go to that location anymore! Today I will go to farmers market in the town next door to me hoping to get some really fresh veggies.

    Cat mom I would love to buddy with you and by the looks of what you've written it looks like we're the same age I had my 30th class reunion last November although I decided not to go. I've never gone to one class reunion actually because I've never had a strong desire. But this year I was very tempted but again I didn't go feeling held back from the way I felt about my body.I also can't wait to start seeing a difference in my body in the way some of these clothes are fitting right now. Hope all is going well for you so far.

    Lizbo...I think you're right having some good recipes would be very helpful I have done some research and found a few that I've already been using and Enjoy. are there any recipes that are particularly a favorite for you that you could share? So far so good on the protocol I've been able to stay POP and very pleased with myself not really feeling hungry it's more Head hunger from time to time but I keep my eye on the prize and that gets me back on track.

    How is everybody else doing this thread seems to slow down,let's pick it back up ladies.

    I do have a question I'm curious if anybody wears rubber gloves when they handle eat and poultry in the kitchen such as cutting fat off of chicken I read a few people doing that and I'm curious if anyone does that in here and doesn't make a difference?

    Good day everyone! Ok, so today is VLCD # 4 and I had a 1.6 lb. loss this morning. Hey, I'll take it. I'm starting to feel good, not so much because of only being down 4.4 lbs. thus far, but 1.5 weeks ago I started the Slim in 6 Beachbody workout DVD program, and I feel great. This program has always been a great standby for me when I need to get in shape. I highly recommend.

    LV2SKI, I've never really paid attention to the not using moisturizers, etc. Too much too think about, but interesting that some folks use rubber gloves to cut off the fat. And 1 other thing I do which is a no-no on protocol. I use 1 T. of heavy cream in my 1 large cup of coffee every morning. I just refuse to give that up. I know you said this is your first time doing HCG. I use the homeopathic pellets so you can go a longer round, but I should show you my before and after pictures from my first round of 55 days. I look at the pictures often to motivate me. I did the Slim in 6 during 1st round too, so that helped, but the pictures truly are night and day. I can PM them to you if you'd like.

    As far as food goes, I pretty much stick to a few different recipes throughout P2. One of my favorites is ordering steamed chicken and broccoli w/ no sauce from a local chinese place. They sprinkle garlic and onion powder on the chicken and only steam it. When it arrives, I eat it plain, but I do mix a little bit of chicken broth with siracha sauce and pour it over the food, and it's awesome. Another favorite is I mix up my own spices for a taco seasoning, and then cook it up with ground chicken breast. Then I scoop the right amount on top of a bowl of diced cucumbers and mix it up. It's delicious! And my favorite is grilled steak on the GF that I eat with roasted mushrooms. I just lay the mushrooms out on a cookie sheet, sprinkles it with a little chicken broth and S&P, and roast at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes. Yummy.
