Dessert for dinner. I do that sometimes too. I like to make an avocado icecream, or kind of ricotta dessert with LC granola and cacao nibs topping that reminds me of a cannoli.

This is my favorite low-carb granola: http://jensaves.com/granola-recipe/ Love this stuff. Its great for topping yogurt, or a warm fruit compote too. Rose, I haven't tried this, but I bet you could substitute all butter or melted cocoa butter for the coconut oil. Red palm oil would be another option. I've ended up cutting the coconut oil back to 2T anyway, as I thought it made the granola just a little too oily. (You don't need the almond milk either.)

This is 4 days after apple/cheese day and I'm back to 137 for the last 2 days, so it looks like that is going to be my stable point. I'm fairly happy with that, since I'm still solidly in the window.

I'm still going to use 138 for my time-to-correct red line for a while and see what happens. As long as I'm not doing corrections very often. If that starts to happen, then I'll raise my LIW a bit. I have yet to find a way to lose in P4. Going low carb does not work for me and makes me feel deprived.

I have a trip coming up in a couple weeks. My hope is that I can maintain well until then. This last round went so well, that I'm toying with the idea of doing another short round this fall to get to my optimum weight, which for me is about 125. I wouldn't want to go lower than that, or I would be too thin. As it is, I have to use a garden kneeler pad in my bathtub because I have no butt padding. I'll have to look into some of the butt-builder I can do with bad knees. Squats and lunges are definitely out.

Leez, have you looked into doing "bridge" exercises. You lay flat on your back, pull your feet back towards your hips, put your arms flat on the floor and then raise your hips. It definitely works the glutes! My PT had me do this exercise after my hip surgery to strengthen my butt muscles. As long as you keep your feet positioned properly, it shouldn't put strain on your knees. I did squats and lunges as well, but those were more for my thighs and to stretch the calf muscles.

That sounds like something I could do. I'll give it a try. I don't care about the strength of my butt muscles as much as beefing them up. But I suppose it goes hand in hand.

I also found one I can do-- Flutter Kicks and Scissor Kicks. Basically, you lie face down across your bed with your hips at the edge with legs lifted parallel to your body. Squeeze glutes and do swimming type flutters. 3 sets of 20. Scissors the same position but squeeze glutes as you open and close legs horizontally. 3 sets of 20.

I had all kinds of plans on what I wanted to eat today, but alas. Correction day for me, as I've tipped over my red line this morning. I'll be doing an apple/cheese day again, since it worked so well 2 weeks ago, and I don't feel like fasting all day for a steak day. I generally get good results from the FFF greek yogurt day too, but the richness of it sometimes starts to put me off it by the end of the day. And I like to have something to chew on when I eat! The apple/cheese day fills that desire, and the salty/sweet thing is pleasant too.

I'll let y'all know how it goes. Luckily we have busy day of errands and house projects planned for today. Having stuff to do always helps distract me from feeling deprived, and I like that I can eat 6 times during this correction day if I wish to. I'm hopeful this will get things in check. But, I've done an average of 1 correction day per week since ending P2. That is too many. I know from past experience I can't sustain this for very long before the corrections stop working.

I'm following THM freestyling currently. If the correction loss doesn't hold this time, it may be time to do one of the following:
    1. Raise my LIW
    2. Switch to THM single fuel days (and no crossovers)
    3. Get on FMD for a month
    4. Do The Metabolism Plan and see if I can figure anything out

    October update:
My September correction day worked. I lost 2+ pounds from the apple day. I maintained in my window for about a week then went off on a 12 day trip. I returned in my window and have stayed there since without further corrections.

I'm right at the top of it, so it looks like that is where my body wants to stay. I'd be happier with 2 pounds below LIW instead of above it, but it is what it is. I'm just happy I can eat yummy foods all day long and not fear the morning weigh in so much.

I'm still at the top of my window, so holding. And as long as that 140 number doesn't get too close, I'm content to be here.

I've been trying to take a less stressful approach with daily weighing, so for the last month or so, I've only been using my old spring scale. I find its a little more peaceful than seeing my weight in .2 pound increments. With the dial spring scale, you can kind of tell the half pounds, but not fractions of a pounds. I still can easily tell if I go over my window, so what more is needed? Its a mental device, of course, but removing that bit of weighing stress is helping me settle into my body's natural ups and downs.

I think I got attacked by some leaf mold (I'm highly allergic) on my walk yesterday, so fighting flu-type symptoms yesterday evening and today. I need warm comforting food today, so had quinoa cooked with pineapple for breakfast, and will probably do soups the remainder. Maybe a hot toddy tonight!

Still fighting the effects of the exposure, but its lessening.

I reached goal in May of 2015. I'm at goal now, but this past summer I did a short round because I had had some weight creep that I couldn't reverse.

I'm happy to report that there is nothing much to report since last month. I'm pretty stable now. I haven't had to do any kind of correction for over 2 months now. I hover around 138 or so, which is around 5 pounds more than I want to be, but its been lovely not to dread getting on the scale for an extended time.

I think my strategy to stop over-thinking meal types and "magic" foods and just eat what I'm hungry for at the moment is paying off. I seem to be much more satisfied and don't usually think about food again until I'm hungry the next time. I've also added baobob as a vitamin C source (I mix isome into my morning hot lemon water ****tail) and maybe the extra soluble fiber is a factor.

I'm also trying to concentrate on slowing down, and enjoying each meal instead of eating while doing other things. I think that is helping give my body time to send satisfaction signals to my brain. I may be eating a little less because of that.
