    Morning all!
VLCD1 today! Yikes! Tough mentally to jump in the day after holidays are over, but I must I look forward to getting to know all of you! Miss Priss, I don't usually have the toast either or replace it with anything..a little more protein would be the best bet, I think!

    VLCD 1....let's do this!

Well, I am back after a great round my first time 3 years ago, lost close to 20 in 2 months. However, back up to over 10 lbs from that start number, but that is ok. Past year was a hard one for me, I think depression, aging and lack of motivation. Anyways, NEW YEAR and new motivation for sure. I am hoping for 30 pounds off by April. Today is VLCD 1, so let's do this ladies!

So so so proud of you MissPriss! Way to be strong! Bravo! Happy dance!

Does anyone else play tricks with the scale? I climbed on this morning and it said the same # as yesterday. I climbed off. Had a little pep talk in the mirror and climbed back on and miraculously had lost .4. Which leads me to have little confidence in my scales accuracy/reliability but did make me a more pleasant person today. Alas the power of that stupid scale on my entire day is ridiculous.

Hope you all are doing well and staying POP!

    Cheers

    Hi everyone!
Day 1 VCLD is almost done and so far so good. Loading didn't go too well. It is the first time I have lost weight. Since my surgery, I am still a little tender and the thought of gorging just makes my stomach ache.

Hi AZ! I remember you...that I have done multiple rounds to still have 10 lbs to go shows how bad I am at maintaining. I am feeling good that a tummy tuck and the invasiveness of the procedure now makes me think really hard about overeating as I have done when I have fallen off the wagon.
I am drooling over the big Mac recipe---YUM!!

Well the work day is almost done and I cannot wait to get home--sitting on my butt at work is not helping with the soreness.. grrr

    Have a great day!

Oh my gosh, today was 100 times better than the last few days! I'm still staying away from the Melba Toast, but the suggestion about adding extra protein definitely worked, plus the fact that I uped my Injection dosage to 175iu. I have not been hungry at all today, which is a huge improvement, and will only help me to be able to stick to this diet. I'm definitely looking forward to tomorrow morning's weigh in. I am gorging myself with water as we speak, in hopes of 'flushing out more fat', and neutralize any bloat from my being a bit heavy handed with the salt...lol.

Good luck everyone, and we will all just take it one day at a time, one meal at a time!

I will add extra protien on occasion also. I will usually lose regardless of extra protien. I've never ate the Melba on any round and I usually only eat 1 fruit a day.

Hi, Marti (and everybody else!) I'm addressing Marti because I live in Missouri also.

I am on loading day 1 and will start VLCD on Wed. I'm doing the drops. I did drops about four years ago and lost about 18 lbs. and then quit. Never gained it back. But I still need to lose about 50 (give or take...we'll see exactly how many when I weigh in after loading). I'm ready to get this ^$%# weight off!

    Good luck, everybody!

Yeah, I only got in 1 fruit today, though I upped protein at lunch. I know leaving out the fruit, since I increase my protein is not an even more logical way to neutralize things... But I guess the scale will tell best in the morning :-) - another day down, and 20 more to go!

Hi Marti--Hi MsPriss--I am so bad about keeping up on people joining threads! Hope it is going well for you all.

I was down 3lbs yesterday!! Wow! I didn't gain anything on this load and I think my body is still trying to dump fluid from surgery...slowly but surely I can tell the difference. I finally have something that resembles a waistline--I am one of those people who is pretty much a rectangle from my chest to my thighs...now I can actually see some definition!

Today we have a farewell luncheon at a burger place so I am kind of torn. I may try the big mac salad, but I am half thinking to find a way to not go to it. It is too early in the round for me to have to do this kind of a workaround, so I may send my regrets and tell them I have an appointment at school or something.

    Oh well

    Time for work!
    Have a great day!

    HI all.
AZ I did my first round in October and thought I was going wacko, my scale was horrible. It would have me up 2 pounds down 4 pounds or not move for days. I tried two different ones from bed bath and beyond and took both back. I finally ordered the eat smart from amizon and it is great. Highly recommend.

I started loading on January 1 for my second round. So far so good. Good luck to all this round.

    Morning all!

I will read and respond soon, just a bit tired at the moment! I'm glad the extra protein helped miss priss
As for me..I GAINED .6 on VLCD2 today. I'm hoping its just residual loading weight...better be! lol...I feel tired, weak and detoxy, but that makes sense. Heres hoping to a nice loss tomorrow! chat later
