I agree, following the protocol is the best thing for me too. I recently learned I've been sloppy. i mindlessly purchased coconut aminos bc others on the forum were talking about how good it is. Ugh thank goodness someone questioned its use while on hcg, alerting me that's it's not POP. And of course I know that bc I've read P&I several times. I got sloppy. So I'm here to learn, share, encourage, and celebrate with all you POPers!
Leez I do the same thing, I keep my choices very simple. I don't make chilis or soups etc. For me there is relief and comfort in the simplicity. A mini vacay. DH travels a lot but when he's home he has no problem eating my meals (in appropriate quantity for him & plus another veggie) or grilling his own meal.
Jayk Hey kudos on maintaining since April! Way to go!
I also feel good while on hcg. Body pain lessens and thyroid and adrenals seem happier. I believe my difficulty maintaining was also foods subtley causing an inflammatory response. I need to work on this as well. On vlcd 3 I noticed I had almost no sinus congestion when I woke up. Huge clue I was consuming something that caused my body to produce congestion. Now to play food detective...
When you pinpoint your sources of inflammation what will you do? Will you eliminate those foods or laser them or...?
AFM today is vlcd 5 and my first skip day. I Started at 153.7, gained 2lbs loading. This morning I weighed in at 150.9. A slower start than I've enjoyed on last rounds but nuttin to complain about

DH returns from a 6-day trip today' I wonder if he will notice any changes in my bod. My stomach feels flatter to me.
Let's make it a great day forum friends
