    Up up updates

    Hey everyone,
I just want to thank you all for the very warm welcome. I am literally feeling tingles over me because they were so touching.

Everything is going well! Hunger is fairly under control, a slight issue with stamina but not bad. I am drowning in water in fact I have to watch I don't drink too much because I am just craving it. (Talking one day I drank almost two gallons). Definitely don't want to disrupt my sodium and go into water overload.

I'm having to venture into more variety of foods instead of settling into my routine ones. I tried doing a salad every day for lunch, and I just can't. So weird, I have lived so much of my life eating salads, it's weird to have to spread it out. Thankfully cabbage, which also now doesn't like me, is okish riced and in one cup quantities. I use it like rice in my chili and count the tomato as my fruit. I also use cauliflower riced for the same thing but I also do this off hcg too lol. Tonite I had flounder and 1 cup of Brussels sprouts.

It's way too hot here, I'm in Texas and looking to 100+ for the next 10 days, thankfully I am beginning to feel a bit of the "cool" of the system reset instead of the heat of bloating and wrong foods.

Thank you all again! Here's to good vlcd days ahead!!!

Stamina is always low during P2. It can be deceiving--you feel perfectly fine and then you try to do something more than you would normal and hit that "no endurance" wall. But that is normal and expected. I'm glad you are not experiencing extreme hunger, but after the first week, you really should only have a little hunger right before normal meal times, so if its more than that, we can help you adjust your dose.

You might find you are less thirsty overall if you add a little mineral salt (sea salt or pink salt) to your water.

I never do salads in P2. It just seems too sad to eat lettuce with my sparse dinner. But some people enjoy it.

Since this is the Perfectly on Protocol group, I will note that some of the vegetables you are eating are not on protocol such as cauliflower and brussel sprouts. We want to keep this topic crystal clear for new people looking for guidance on the original protocol who could be confused about things we experiment with.

Ricing cabbage is a great idea. I sometimes slice it super thin and use as cabbage "noodles" in soup, but never thought about ricing it.

I like doing HCG when its warm. The rounds I've done in the winter, I've been so frigidly cold that I never felt warm unless I was soaking in a hot bath. I don't have that problem in P2 if its summer though.

    Hii Ladies,

I'm in FL and I also enjoyed the cooling aspect of the hcg/hypothalamus reset. Usu in the summer I'm just wasted from the heat. Lol.

Sennaria it sounds like you are settling into your round nicely. I sure wish I craved water ... I struggle every single day to drink enough. After I've had a cup of morning coffee I literally can go til 2 or 3 without drinking anything if I don't stay conscious of hydrating.

Leez I have to have romaine lettuce every single day while on a round. I absolutely crave it. And no other type of lettuce will do, it has to be romaine. Bizarre right?!

    Have a great day

Thought I'd post an update from my latest round.

I'm entering P4 officially today. I"m happy to report that I'm within my 2 pound window, and sometimes hovering very close to LIW.

It has been a volatile P3. I've had to do 2 steak days, and it wasn't until the last week that my weight started to have downward fluctuations without being from a correction. So I'm just now stabilizing right at the end of it. The P3 reshaping didn't kick in until this last week either. But now, shorts and khakis that were tight at the beginning of P3 are now almost too lose, and my thigh gap has reappeared. So everything worked just the way the protocol says it will. Its just that sometimes you have kind of a roller coaster getting there.

I decided to freely eat things in P3 that I was fairly certain were safe foods for me, and not test anything I already had problems with. So from the beginning, I ate lots of coconut oil candy with peanuts, enjoyed peanut butter, avocado, nuts, goat cheese, greek yogurt and soft white cheeses, and all fruits, and even had some hummus. I know eggs and yellow cheeses are a problem for me, so why even test them?

I'm looking forward to enjoying more root vegetables and especially re-introducing my favorite sprouted grain bread. I think I need a few more days to really feel I can trust the stabilization, so am proceeding cautiously.

Sennari & Sassy, I love being cold on P2 during hot weather! I'm going to miss it! My first round was in winter, and I was freezing but even kind of liked it then! Usually I am so hot that wearing a sweater indoors or coat in the car is too much. It is nice to be able to snuggle up under blankets in the summertime especially.

Leez! Yay for how amazing you are doing! Your P3 meals sound delicious, and I am eagerly waiting to hear what you learn this P4! Thank you for sharing your journey. Congratulations on having a thigh gap and clothes already lose from P3!

Hi Rose- Just curious why you’ve decided to do POP this time since you’ve had success in the past with your clinics protocol. I’ve always done POP for the most part but have considered and wanted to try some other veggies at times.

Since i dont have much to lose my last rounds were very slow i wanted to see if it made a difference. I would like to get to goal sooner and get it done with. I am only on vlcd 8.

I hear ya, I’m in the exact same boat. I’ve been POP my last rounds but still experienced slow losses I’m assuming because I wasn’t that far from goal. That is why I’m considering trying the lipo b shots. Would love to be able to do a shorter round. Will be interested to see if POP works for you better.
