Another 2.2 lbs gone! VLC 3 is here and with my dose adjustment, everything should be good. I am hoping all the "water weight" (the first 10 lbs), comes off by the end of the week, and next week sees me through the 230s. Crossing fingers that my stall days are few and far between, it could happen! The plus side of being a hCG veteran, is that you know what to expect, and sometimes can be pleasantly surprised when things change.

Day 11 VLC. I am down 12.8 pounds, and chugging along. I call this "losing like a man", and will take it as far as I can. I have been diligently working out on my Wii Fit Plus. I do boxing, hula hoop, skateboarding, stepping, snowball fights, and Kung-Fu. All in less than 30 minutes. It gives me a great work out with lots of sweating, and helps me keep focus on my end game.

I am also making a plan for when my hCG journey ends. Going Paleo three years ago didn't stop me from gaining back 50 lbs, but it did keep me from gaining back all 125 lbs that I did lose. My worst recorded weight was 350, but I know I have been heavier.

There are certain foods that I will either avoid completely, or put into a drastic moderation mode. One of the worst offenders is watermelon, which seems so weird. I just can't metabolize sugar, it runs straight to my belly and puffs up my fat cells. Another down fall is processed meat products, bacon, sausage, ham, hot dogs, and lunch meat. I love these foods! Throw these delicious in with my lack of portion control, and the perfect storm of weight gain hits.

Noodling this stuff in my head really helps me plan for the future.

Another 8/10ths of a pound gone, every little bit helps, and gets me one tiny step closer to my goal.

I am trying to come up with a theory as to why I show a loss every other day. What I am hoping is that my body is adjusting (hopefully in a permanent way) to the lost weight and accepting it. As strange as it may seem, there are perfectly healthy "fat" people. Is it genetics, enviroment, or some funky chemical in the water? What ever the reason, some of us may forever a lg, and never diet ourselves into anything smaller.

This is the time that we look beyond what the media and society as a whole tells us that thin is healthy, and falling on the high number of a BMI is obese and unhealthy.

    Just pondering.

    Carpe Diem.

I am very pleased to have a an unexpected loss this morning. 1.2 lbs left my body! Yea! It's an awesome feeling to be that much lighter. I truly wasn't expecting it, especially since I didn't sleep well.

Well, I am holding at 233.6. Between girly time on the horizon, and not having a BM in a couple of days, this is expected, and causing me no concern.

Moving right along. After a multi day stall because of TOM, I am starting to lose again. After 21 days VLC I am down 17.2 lbs, so I am still losing well. I changed up my exercise program and doing EA Active 4 days a week, and will fill in with Fit Plus two other days. I take one day off, usually Sundays, which are also my skip days, since I do really long rounds.

I have been doing well, OK, not as well as I would have liked, but moving right along nevertheless. Right now, my head is in a good place, so that makes it a lot easier to stick with the diet, all the while programming myself for the future, for life after hcG.

Woke up to a .6 lb loss, yea!

Last night my right knee felt like it wants to give out on me. Not the knee itself, but the tendons behind my knee. I may have over exerted during my exercise routine, but it took hours to show up. I am muddling through, trying to walk it out. I'll skip my regular exercises today, and see how tomorrow goes. Exercise, yes, limping around for the rest of my life, no.

    Carpe Diem, with a limp.

Just after I posted about my knee, it stopped acting up, and I could walk normally. So weird. The tendons behind my knee still aren't pain free, but I can still workout.

I am down a couple of pounds, and am cruising along. Hoping to be near 200 lbs by mid-September, then just go for gravy weight until December. I was happiest in the 190s, but I am really hoping to get somewhere around 160, crossing fingers and toes.
