    After yesterday's awesomeness, I got stupid. I indulged in Paleo crunch and some ham. I seem to recall that I was NOT going to eat pork products...now I know for sure, pork is a major no-no, not just because I am supposed to be on protocol, but as a whole life plan. I woke up 3.6 lbs. heavier!!! April fool's on me (by my own doing, I pranked myself).

    Live and learn, I will be paying off my indiscretions for the next 3 days. What I am not going to do is beat myself up. I knew that I shouldn't have eaten that stuff, but I did, silly me.

    I have planted my feet firmly on the protocol road, and have no plans to deviate. What it did prove is that I am off processed meat/pork for a good, long time. I could actually feel myself getting fatter, it was so weird.

    Hopefully, being POP will help tomorrow's weigh in, and I won't go into a stall.

    On top of that, my girly time is still super wacky with light spotting throughout, even though I have been "done" for more than a week. This is a new one on me, and for the time being, I am just going to wait it out and see what happens.

    Cowgirl: I love closet shopping!!! Yea on the whoosh!

    Today is actually on protocol - except for that special German cheese that I do, which is less fat and more protein and less calories than any meat... Tonight will have me doing veal and green asparagus... finally found asparagus from Europe, though the German isnt ready yet for a couple of weeks.

    Set backs are to be expected, but they are completely unwelcome!

    The hCG is messing with my system big time. I'm constantly spotting, and my girly time came back for a few days, now it looks like it's ending (again), but I haven't a clue as to why this is happening, or if it actually is going to stop.

    The huge initial gain was on me, then the other gain I am putting on my girly time. Unfortunately, it looks like I am headed into a stall. I still have plenty of time to get down, but I am also willing to extend my round (y'all know I have no issue with doing 100 days!), to get to goal. Disclaimer: This works for me, I encourage everyone to follow Dr. S's protocol to the letter.

    Hopefully, my stall will break, and I will be back on the path to my losses. I have four pounds to lose to get back to my goal.

    Sigh, it sucks, but it happens.

    Sorry to be MIA, but I was having computer troubles.

    Bummer about the gain, Rusty. Hope it comes off soon.

    I start loading tomorrow. I can't wait to start my new round.

    Just a quick check-in. I finished 28 days of FMD and lost 8 pounds. Not bad! I'm starting to prepare for my trip since I leave in one week.

    Rhiann: Enjoy loading! Eat lots of fatty yummy's!!

    The whoosh fairy made a stop over at my house and took away 2.8 lbs.! I am almost back to my goal, and am so happy. We are going skating today, and add to that a skip day, so I may stay at this weight for a couple of days, but I can live with that.

    Just wanted to add that I measured again today, so even if my weight numbers aren't spectacular, I lost another 6.5 inches, this time from my ribs, waist and hips, and am totally wearing pants that I couldn't fit in less than 2 weeks ago. I love hCG!!!! This brings my inches lost to 26" overall! Yea!!!!!!!

    Congrats on the super loss!!! The first week is the BEST. I was down .6, not a super loss, but 1/2 a pound is halfway to another pound down.

    I am in a stall again. Although very frustrating, I still seem to be trimming down. Part of me would love to see the scale take a nose dive, but on the flip side, I am losing more belly (yea!).

    What I am hoping is that even if I show a stall for 2 days (probably due to water replacing fat in my fat cells), I will see a big loss tomorrow, which seems to becoming a pattern for my losses this round.

    It's funny, on my first round, I lost more than 50 lbs, but there was no size change until my 3rd week of P3. Then I dropped 4 sizes.

    It just goes to show that you can't trust how your body will react to each round.

    If you find yourself in a stall, or if the inches aren't dropping off, never fear, change is coming. It's not about winning the daily battles, it's about winning the war as a whole. Don't give up. Don't give in. Stay the course, even if it seems nothing is happening, SOMETHING is happening, you just can't see it yet.

    Keep looking at the BIG picture, not your daily results.
