Lots of truth in your post, Rusty!

It's crazy how our bodies react. I remember way back when I was trying Weight Watchers for like the 4th time, the leader told us we could expect to go down one size for every 10-15 lbs we lost. For me, it's more like 20 - 25 lbs. It was so frustrating. Now, I have a better idea of how my body reacts. At 265, I was wearing size 20s. At 185, I'm wearing mostly 14s. So basically 80lbs has me down only 3-4 sizes.

It won't be until the 80's that I'll be in a 14 too, so 20+ more pounds for me to get there. I think when you get to your goal, you will see a 10. I think the general sizing scales are pretty wonky. I have 16s that won't fit and 14s that will. Of course, for me, it's a belly issue, too much belly, that is.

    How is VLC going?

VLC is going well, as well as expected, I guess. I am feeling impatient, probably because I feel so close, yet so far from my goal. It's a mental thing.

Yeah, sizes are really weird these days. I have one pair of 12s that fit, and one pair of 16s. Some of my 14s are clearly too big, some are snug. I'm trying really hard not to buy clothes until I get to goal, unless it's something I really need. Then I try to go to the thrift stores or someplace inexpensive like Old Navy.

That's what I do. Thrift stores are great. Which ones do you go to? I hit Thrift Town quite a bit. I've been meaning to get to one of the thousands of Goodwill stores, but I never have the time. Now, since I am just getting back into my closet clothes, I have plenty of stuff to wear.

The best deals I found for new stuff is Kohl's of all places! I hit those out of season bargain racks. On my first trip there, I got $300 worth of clothes for $50!!!

I mostly hit the Thrift Town on El Camino because it's near where I live. I also like the Goodwill and Ecothrift down in the south area off Fruitridge. I have just about depleted my closet. I'm down to just two boxes of things that are mostly still too small. I was in size 16+ for so long that I got rid of anything smaller except for a few things I really loved.

I am still seeing losses. Yesterday I was down 1.4 and today .6, 2 days, 2 pounds, pretty good.

Again, I am seeing more in the size of my belly, rather than low numbers on the scale. It's a bit weird to see less belly. My hubby says I am nothing but skin and bones (as if), but I am liking this more and more. Time to start planning for an exercise plan. I am thinking kickboxing 3 days a week, and kettlebells 2 days. Throw in some burpees and sprints, and I should continue to see losses/firming even after hCG.

I am still working out my food plan. Definitely staying Paleo, pretty strict and not let food be my go to. The leptin reset worked well on my first round, so I am going to give that a shot again, and really try to stick with it, making it a habit. Hopefully, I will only eat twice a day, once I become leptin sensitive again.

Boo hoo! I was exactly the same today as yesterday...to the tenth of a pound. I've never had a no-lose day this early in a round. A couple of things could have caused it: vigorous working in the garden in the sun, took aspirin for my sore knee, had both my fruits yesterday. I was hungry all day yesterday, which is really weird for me.

Sounds like you've got a great plan, Rusty! I am looking forward to going back to eating paleo/primal when I am done with this round.

Have a great day! After spending most of yesterday doing yard work and planting in the garden and stuff, we are off to the range this morning. It's funny, the last time I went out to the range (in January and I was doing a round), my aim was really off. I wonder if if it will be off again since I'm on a round or if it was just a bad day. LOL!

Driving range or shooting range (both rely on aim)? I am hoping you mean shooting range, 'cause I need another 'bucky-badass' gal to hang with!

You are probably dehydrated a bit since it's been so warm, and working out in the garden will totally cause stalls (more physical then it seems). Lots of h20 today!!!

Went and checked out Whole Paycheck (the one on Arden), not overtly impressed, but they carried some hard to find stuff, and their prices weren't way too high, but I wouldn't shop there, just pick up a few items, (just like Trader Joe's and Sprouts). WinCo is my go to store, but we need one in Natomas!!! So I usually go once a month to the one in Roseville (I have to go out there to pay my rent).

I am stalled out again, so a food change up is in order (I have been having steak and cucs for the past couple of days). I am hoping that after today's chicken and romaine: tilapia and tomato, I will get into "one"derland (2 lbs. to go, then I'll be at 199.8!).

I hope the rest of your day goes awesome!!

I think you might have been right that yesterday's no loss was due to dehydration. I drank tons yesterday and this morning I was down 2.2 to 180 even. Whew!

I'm so sorry to hear you are in a stall. Hopefully the change in foods helps. Yeah, we really do need a WinCo out here. I think the closest one is out in Citrus Heights.

Yes, shooting range. We are members out at Sac Valley. Yesterday we were at the rifle range. We got my son his own .22 for Christmas and sadly, this was our first change to take it out because we've been so busy. We had a great time and Kiddo's new rifle worked really well. My husband was shooting this old Squires Bingham model that had been my dad's that we finally found magazines for. I am constantly amazed at how well old guns shoot. I have and old S&W .38 M&P that belonged to my great uncle. It's almost 100 yrs old and shoots perfectly. Do you guy go shooting very much? Where do you go?

We used to go to an outdoor range in Oroville. We are looking for a new range here, we visited one (I don't remember where) that had some decent fees. We recently got a 30-30 that I have been wanting. I need to put some time in with my Ruger's 9mm.

We're thinking about a squirrel gun for our middle son's 7th b-day in June.

    Woo-hoo for a 2 lb. loss!!

I've been to the CH WinCo, your right, it's the closest one (pfft!).

Off to rescue dinner for the fam (leftover night). I had some cucs earlier (I've got a munchie thing going on...), so, I may just skip dinner tonight.

    Later!!!
