    Thanks tods.

Although I am still stalled, my scale showed a significant loss of my fat %. Hopefully, that will show up tomorrow in a big loss (fingers, toes, and eyes crossed for luck!).

Down just one pound this morning, not that I'm complaining, just that I "felt" like it would be more. Oh well! Finally under 180! Woohoo!

I like Sac Valley, but it is far. Out in Ione. We chose that one because we have several friends who are members out there, too. Fees are steep for non-members: $14/$7 kids, but for members it's, $5 and kids are free. Plus we participate in the Project Appleseed shoots out there a couple times of year so we make our money back pretty quickly. I've been to the one in Lincoln once. A couple of times I went to Mangan, but that is indoor, evenings only. You can only shoot certain things on certain days. It's funny because it's right in town, in the south area and owned by the city, but it's only $5. There's also an indoor range out at Watt and I-80 that I have not gone to yet, and Cordova out off 50 and Sunrise.

We have mostly .22 rifles and a handful of revolvers. Most of which I inherited from my father and have been in the family for ever. I am looking at getting a 9mm in the near future when the budget allows. I've been looking at the Springfield XD/SA models. My good friend has one and I have really enjoyed shooting it.

Have you done any more canning or preserving? I need to get down to the farmers market and pick up some pickling cucumbers so I can do pickles. YUM!

With the best growing season starting, I am looking forward to the Farmer's Market again. I always want to go early, but the fam just doesn't want to get up and go (I am up daily before 5 am). I like to go early and grab up free range eggs (I just found some at Whole Paycheck for $6 - $9/doz), and sometimes they have grass fed beef.

I haven't done any canning since the beef stew, but I do want to get some bone broth canned, and make some strawberry jelly (paleo style). My big project on the horizon is canning butter, but I would need about 11 lbs.!

179 is a great weight! It's all down hill now! Easy peasy. I am looking forward to being under 200 in the next couple of days, and then into the 80s by May (I hope, I hope). What's really impressing me now, is just losing so many inches. I'll probably measure on Saturday, and see if I've lost more (my clothes are telling me I am).

Have a great day, and remember always "eyes on the prize"!!!

Down .8 this morning. Did a lot of yard/garden work yesterday at a friends property in the south area, but remembered to hydrate better. Mid-way through week 2 and it looks like I'm moving into the <1 lb/day loss range. That's Ok, I know that's the way it works, but it's still a little bit of a bummer.

My next little happy mark will be when I'm under 176, which is the lowest I've been since starting hcg. It was my low point of last round, but I ended up maintaining around 180 until I went on vacation. I cannot wait to hear you've gotten below 200!

I am still stalling (boo hoo), so I am going to do an apple day. I know there is a lot of poo-pooing regarding ADs, but sometimes they work, and it's a change up on the menu (always welcome). The downside is that I only have sour apples (got them to make an apple pie for the family), I really love red delicious apple, and am stuck with granny smith.

You will be down to your happy mark before you know it. The closer you get to your ideal weight, the slower it goes. .8 is nearly a pound (I like to round up!), so you are on your way! Chin up!!

Yep, looks like a stall, only down .2 this morning. Bleah! Oh, well. It will correct itself, I'm sure. Just need to be patient.

I've never tried an apple day, mostly because I don't like apples that much to only eat them for a day. I say, whatever works, works. Good luck!

My stall finally broke with a 1.6 lb. loss! On the downside, today is a skip day, which might lead to a two day stall. I still haven't gotten below 200, my body is hanging on for all it's worth. Maybe this week the losses will pick up. I am on my 3rd and last bottle of hCG, so I have just over 20 days left, I will decide in 10 days if I will get another bottle and extend my round another 20 + days. Decisions decisions...

Yay for breaking your stall! Bet you make it under 200 tomorrow!

I was down .6 this morning. Funny because I was sure I was going to have a gain based on how bloated I felt.

Hope you're having a nice weekend. I just got home from the Front Street shelter where I was giving an orientation for new volunteers for my program. So excited to have these new vols! Now I have to shower and be in Placerville by 1:30. Aack!

Hope things are going well, Rusty!

I'm working my way down a bit. Just 9 lbs to goal. Of course, now I'm nervous because I'm so close. It doesn't seem real.

You are doing so great!! Stay the course.

I just got to 200 and some change, then I jumped up to 202, weird, and then I stalled out again. I think it's beef, tomorrow I am going shopping, and get some chicken and fish, plus plenty of spring lettuce (I need some greens!).

I have about 2 to 3 weeks of drops left, I am thinking about doing another bottle, I have 11 lbs. to go until my all time personal best, but I really want to be in the 180's. I'll have to noodle it over and decide soon. Decisions, decisions...

I honestly think our bodies have some sort of defense mechanism against dropping below a certain weight. For me it was 185-ish. I just could not get and stay below that weight for two rounds in a row. Finally this round, I'm below, and I think I will be below enough that even if I gain, I won't go back to that weight.
