    Happy Friday everyone! And yeah for me b/c today is a day off from work. Good Friday Holiday. I work from home, and travel a lot, mostly to California, but it just feels nice to have some down time. I had a 1.4 loss this AM which is nice being that yesterday was a stall. TOM is slowing down quickly here. And Posh, TOM means time of month (period) ... as Ginger stated earlier. It definitely will affect losses during that time, but no fear, it all catches up afterwards.

    And Posh, OMG, a 5.1 loss in 3 days is awesome!! And to comment on oranges and grapefruits, yes you can eat them both on P2. I've seen some versions of the diet online where it says in P2 you can have grapefruit, but not oranges. But most sites say both are perfectly fine. They list the approved fruits as a whole apple (or 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce), 1/2 cup strawberries, half a grapefruit, or a whole orange. I generally eat 1 fruit a day, and always skip the melba toast. I eat an orange every night about 40 minutes after dinner, and dang it is soooo good!! In fact, the days I eat my orange, I generally lose more.

    Stay strong everyone! I know the weekends can be harder, especially this weekend with Easter!!

    I'm down .8 this morning . . . smaller, but still losing.

    Posh - As far as a pic for your profile, go to settings at the top of this page (it's right beside My Profile). Look on the left hand side of the setting page (u might have to scroll down a little) & find edit my Avatar. I believe that is what will come thru as your profile pic. Give that a try & see if it will work. I'm no techie either, so maybe someone else has a different thought.

    I'm hoping everyone has a blessed Easter.

    YAY - Thank you Determined Got my pic on here finally! I'm actually fairly intelligent and kept seeing in my settings that my profile pic was selected - but thought avatar was just for cartoon pics! LOL

    Great losses for us all!!!! HAHA TOM: well Tobysmom I happen to be in menaupause and haven't had one of those since last March)) It has its pluses & minuses... it def messes with my weight & mood... but I'm going to kick its *** with this diet! And thanks for the attagirl...I was a little disappointed it wasn't more - I actually brought apple to work for snack skipped the grapefruit this morning ... still drinking my green tea....not really hungry but made grilled lemon & cilantro chicken for lunch so I'll have to eat it ! LOL gotta love that feeling.

    As for Easter ...I'm not letting it get the best of me - I may have 1 vodka/lemon this weekend...still debating it))

    Welcome SummerSun and grats to everyone who is losing! Hey, POSH, now I can see you, lol!

    Happy Easter weekend, everyone! I am down again today, which absolutely floors me. That means I'm down 9.9 pounds in 12 days. Yeah, baby, I'll take it! But I have no illusions, a stall is looming on the horizon, I just know it..... I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.....

    Ginger, that's awesome. You are doing great! And a welcome to you Summersun, and thank you for the weight loss dust! We can all do this journey together. I had a 1.6 loss this AM. This is the first time I've actually lost weight during TOM. It should be over today. I've been drinking a ton of water, so I will keep it up. I definitely believe the more you drink, the more you lose. Determined, your charts are amazing. You are obviously on track and committed. Keep it up. And Posh, be careful on the vodka ... when I look back at my food charts on past rounds, anytime I had a vodka soda or 2, I did have a very nice loss the next day, but it took a whole week to get back on track. I literally stalled any losses for many days. Everyone is different though. Keep a journal of what you eat.

    Well yeah, the sun is out and it's warm today. A bit breezy though. I am going to head out for my 5 mile power walk which I do every day (except crazy winter weather, LOL).

    Best of luck to everyone! Keep your eye on the prize, and visualize those skinny jeans we all have tucked away somewhere, knowing that we will fit into them again. And imagine how awesome you will look and feel!!

    Hey all - I've been off radar so I'm catching up!!! First let me say Happy Easter !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Welcome Summersun - This is such a great group to be involved in... I feel fortunate to have found such a great group...Haven't heard much from our male friend on here...but I assume he is still with us girls???
    GG - Great job!!!! You are SOOOOO close to goal! Can't wait until I can say only 9 more pounds to go!
    TMom +Awesmome on the 1.6 !!!!!!!!!! 5 mile run??? WOW - I wish I could run like that! Walk maybe but I'm no runner...never have been- Thank GOD TOM is almost over for you! LOL All my friends hate me when I tell them I don't have "those days" anymore And I def don't miss them!
    And YES YES YES on the skinny jeans - About 3 months ago I finally gave away my favorite pair of 7-8's to my gf...well I told her the other day ...it won't be long & will be asking for them back!!! HAHAHA - They're the good faded torn kind ...just love them...and Oh yes..lookin' like a hot momma in them Stay tuned in a month or so for pics! :P

    It's 6am and I'm working a little OT until 11am - been good weekend so far, staying busy! Last night I stayed a GF's house and yes I had a drink...but just 1 and it was vodka/diet tonic & lemon (actually only finished half)... but it was bfore I saw the post Tobysmom However getting on the scale today I lost another 1.2 lbs so I think I found a vice (if needed)...but I truly am sticking as close to protocol as I can...But WOW... I haven't been out of the 160's for over a year!!! I'm so excited to see it coming off. Going to be playing some golf today...supposed to be a pretty day! Everyone stay motivated!!! IT's day
    7 for me and I think I might go to 30 - so only 23 more days to go!!!!!!!!!! We GOT THIS!

    Day two loading.... Leaving the coast at about midday and heading home 7 hours.....

    Hello All!
    Hope you all have had a great weekend, my partner and I ended up going away for the weekend which was a spur of the moment thing, which I decided to have the weekend off my eating, I know it was naughty but felt good. didn't do to much damage but back on to it tomorrow and hope it goes smoothly for the week. I went shopping this morning and will prep all my foods for the week tomorrow like I did last week.

    my pants are feeling a lot looser, posh wish I was say YES YES to my skinny jeans, haha but I can see myself getting there, feels fantastic.

    Yvonne - hope you had a good trip, long drive home.. 7 hours

    LOL Ginger Gypsy - That made me laugh! "TOM" Well its ok ladies to have girl talk, I may be a male but im friends with Martha not Arthur. if some ppl get my drift

    Tobysmom - even tho its TOM glad to hear you still had a loss.

    Determined - thanks for the doing great on the 2nd of April, I have started recording what im eating and found that Shrimp gave me a bit of a gain, and didn't make me feel that well, so I think ill leave that one off the board, I actually struggled to eat it, 100g of that felt like a lot.

    Summersun - Welcome, welcome.

    Anyway! im back guys, and will be checking in each day, im here all the way now, im excited and ready, Easter was a bit of a cave, wasn't expecting to hit a wall, but live and let go aye girls.

    So glad to hear of everyone's losses. I've gone back and read a few of the posts in the last few days so hope I've caught up with everyone.

    I hate Mondays, but it looks beautiful out today. So I'm going in with a smile. FlirtyFlo, best of luck starting P2 today, and I hope you had a great trip. And Shaun, glad to hear from you ... we can do this!! And Posh, I do a 5 mile power walk each day, not run. I have bad knees from being hit by a drunk driver many, many years ago. BUT I walk really fast, that most my friends who see me out always say, "hey, I saw you running the other day". I'm sure I look like a geek.

    Okay, so my total losses for Saturday and Sunday was only .6, however looking at my journal from my past 2 rounds, I always just lose 7 lbs. the first week, and that's exactly what I lost. And I know going forward that the weeks following week 1, I generally only lose 3 lbs. each week. But I'm doing a 60 day round since I'm on HHCG, so mathematically that should get me to my personal goal of a 30 lb. loss. Folks might say 60 days is too long, but once I'm in the groove, I really enjoy eating this way, and I do go a "bit" rogue .. allowing an extra ounce of meat per meal, and I do some days eat almonds or a spoonful of almond butter here and there. Nuts don't seem to have a huge affect on me.

    Can't wait to see what this week brings us!! I'm starting to feel better about myself, but it generally takes a good 3 weeks to really *FEEL* a difference, and it usually takes a 20 lb. loss before folks really notice any change in me. So my motto at this point is "day by day". Best of luck everyone!!
