    .5 gain this morning (refuse to update ticker) Could have been the EPIC FAIL Smoothie King yesterday or the steamed shrimp and broccoli from last night (which I simply ate too much of). Today, it's more water and correct portion control...oh, and MofM wouldn't hurt either.
    Mini Goal is to see the 140's by this time next week.

    Ugh. I woke to a .2 gain!!! I didn't cheat but I did not get enough water or enough sleep. It feels unfair to have any kind of gain when I didn't get any kind of awesome yummy food out of it

    I was co raid leader for my team as well and I totally agree it's a huge pain. I only have casual players in my guild now and I run with outside teams. It's better for my sanity. I got sick of dealing with high school age drama everyday! Plus I think I got burnt out.

    Nilly, I hope that your last week in P3 offers you some stabilization. Sometimes I wish I had a crystal ball to figure out why sometimes I gain, or sometimes I lose but it seems like I'm eating the same. I still have a few weeks in P2 but I think that I am going to continue writing my food down so I can tweak it from day to day to stay w/in the 2 pounds.. If I don't write it down, I forget it! smh.. my memory isn't so great these days... I'm sorry that you are living in such pain and I hope that the doctors figure it out for you so you can get on the right treatment and all fixed up

    I found it amazing how good I felt when I first started the program... and still do. I think it has a lot to do with cutting out pop and a lot of other chemicals and carbs from my diet. Love it! You are doing AWESOME!!!!

    Originally from Toronto. Came down to Houston because good jobs were limited in 1994. My plan was to stay five years and then hightail it back to Toronto. 17 years later and I am still in Houston. More like STUCK here. Married, had my son, divorced, and now am pretty much stuck here so son is close to his dad.I am still trying to acclimate to 108 degrees F in the summer .... although 78 degrees in February is not bad either.

    Thanks for the additional info on M of M. I had a 0.8 lb gain this morning ... still did not get in enough H2O yesterday and probably not enough sleep. Wish everyone a happy day at the scales!!!

    Good morning, everyone

    Here I am starting day 2 of P3, and I'm up 1.6 from LDW. I've kept my carbs under 20, but I've added eggs, cheese, olive oil and almonds. I read everything about everyone saying they added things too fast and then turned around and did it myself! I've definitely got to nix the almonds; it's way too easy for me to eat 6 oz without thinking about it. I'm going to skip cheese until the weekend as well. But I may be planning for naught: tomorrow may be a steak day.

    In TMI news, I'm pretty shocked that given the fats I've added that things aren't moving, well, more smoothly. I'm still not feeling very well stomach-wise, and haven't since that first salad with olive oil. Being trapped in class with a MoM moment is NOT an option. Pre-HCG I got about 30 grams of fiber a day (mostly from supplements). Benefiber and Fiber Choice list sugar alcohols (sorbitol) as their only sugar; wouldn't the effective carbs theory argue that they are safe? Having increased my protein, I've gotta do something!

    Thank you, Foxy for reporting on your inches! I am so happy for you and hoping for myself! That's my biggest trouble area. Just never been the same since the babies, but my babies are 18 & 19! It's time for it to hit the road

    Saw a few other seamstresses in yesterday's intros. Is anyone else making a pile of things they want to take in? I have to get the bridesmaids' dresses done, but my pile of 'if I add darts here...' is climbing up the wall

    Freedom! I feel the same way. I wanted to go 23 days. But, I will shoot for 40 now because I want to lose the max amount in each round. This is my second round and I find every week I come across at least 3 days that I just want to quit. I push myself thru it though. These posts do inspire me to keep on keepin' on. I know my next round will put me closer to "what I'm suppose to be" but, not sure if I want to go down that far. So, Round 3 is when I will take it day by day (even though that's how I'm feeling now). Today is my TU's birthday and I want to badly to get him some chocolate. I, believe it or not, am not a chocoholic, but he is. He is having a harder time this week than I am, so I know some chocolate will cheer him up, but I also know he may jump ship with it too. So, I may go out and buy ingredients to make some Cocoa Crack instead.
    I can't wait to get to where your are. So close to your goal weight.

    P3 food warning - don't read below if you don't want to drool.....

    I made THE BEST chicken EVER last night! I seasoned and then baked the chicken in butter. Sauteed onions and mushrooms in butter until they were reduced about 1/2, added HWC = YUM!!!!!!! I had made almond flour polenta the night before, and this sauce over that was to die for!

    I love hearing everyone's stories!

    I'm a 31 year old stay at home mom with a small online business (AnIslandGirl.com). Both my husband and I have our captains licenses, and in the summer I work on a boat at a marine conservation summer camp, teaching a boating safety class so that kids 12 and older can get their license to drive a boat by themselves, wile my husband runs a fishing charter boat by day and does booze cruises, evening weddings, and dinner parties on summer nights.
    I have a wonderful husband (who is much older than myself), 2 amazing step-sons that have flown the coup, our 8 year old daughter, and 2 beautiful grandchildren.

    Today is a goose egg day, and I'm happy and healthy and feeling great. It's funny how often I feel euphoric wile on HCG. I love days like these!

    I hope everyone else is having a fantastic Groundhogs Day!

    I've never used milk of magnesium. I always use 200-300mg of magnesium citrate capsules at night before i go to bed. And It's been working like a charm in the morning
    If you can't find it in CVS or Walgreen, they have it it Whole foods or any health food store. It really works and has no sugar.
