Morning while I am flying out the door so early in the morning...
Well my super bowl fixes netted me a 0, better that than up...but I am still up my 1 lb from the previous day.
    Maybe Tuesday is my day.

Good luck with the scales everyone, Have a great day!

Eek for my first day of NON vlcd I thought I did really well only adding in some yogurt but my body evidently didn't agree with it at all. Argh I guess today is a steak day. It's really hard to do one too cuz mr TOM is here and I know he's affecting things. I'd rather be safe then stick myself with a gain though. I really want to do this right this time. I did buy two different kinds of greek yogury and noticed they varied a lot in servin size and nutrition facts. I guess I will have to do some serious investigating to see what I can find is the best out there for me. I did find Fage but for some reason that wasn't what I bought. LOL I might be going to the store to get some today though. So a steak day? Or is there another option. I thought I read that some do a FFF day? Or just a high protein day?
Round 1 (round 20ish but my first injection round)
    vlcd1: 251.2
    week1: 244.0 (-7.2)

Good Morning all. P3 starts in 3 days. Yay!!! I've stabilizing around the same weight for 3 days now. Yesterday was LDW. I am very happy with my weight right now. I need to tone up some places but I am stopping.

Here's a recipe for cheese crackers. I can't wait to make it soon.

    Have a great day all

    "Healthified" Cheez Its! (p3)
    1 1/4 cup almond flour
    1/2 tsp Celtic sea salt
1/2 cup freshly grated sharp cheese (I used aged Gouda!)
    1 egg white

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Grate 1/2 cup cheese.

In a food processor (or medium bowl) whip the egg white until the egg has loosened and become frothy. Add in the almond flour, salt, and cheese until a stiff dough forms. Cut two pieces of parchment paper the size of baking sheet. Put dough on top of one piece of parchment. Place the second piece of parchment on top of the dough and roll out with rolling pin until dough covers the parchment sheet (see photo). Roll the dough so it is the same thickness or it will bake unevenly.

Remove top parchment. Using a pizza cutter, score the dough into squares or other shapes. Place the parchment with the cut dough onto baking sheet and bake 15-20 minutes, or until lightly browned. Makes 8 servings.

    NUTRITIONAL COMPARISON (per serving)
    Keebler Cheez It = 160 calories, 8 g fat, 18 carbs, 1 fiber (17 effective carbs), 4 g protein
    "Healthified" Cheez It = 120 calories, 9.5 g fat, 2.4 carbs, 1.1 g fiber (1.3 effective carbs), 6.1 g protein

I got some great compliments this weekend, so even though the scale is stuck at the same point, I know that it's the inches that melting away this week.
Hopefully my body decides to get on board the loosing train soon though, as it's starting to make me crazy wondering if this is where I'm destined to be. (It can't possibly be though, as I still have huge hips and thighs. I'm only 5 feet tall, so I should have plenty more abnormal fat to loose, right?)

I love seeing so many successful P3 stories, it sounds like those of you that moved on are doing great!

I understand what you were saying about the steak days. I was just wondering if it was better to err on the side of caution since my scale has days when it refuses to give me the same number twice. Maybe I should take it as a blessing that it was so clear today.
Unfotunately, it will be a bit of an ongoing drama. Tune in next week...

Good luck on the correction days you guys. Dollia, you can do a high protein day where you keep the carbs super low. All meat for the most part. Cheese if it doesn't affect you...

I took the 1.6 as gospel because I got it twice in a row, and refused to weigh myself again. We went out to eat yesterday, and I'm pretty sure there were bread crumbs involved I've been keeping my effective carbs below 15 otherwise, but I know those three tablesppons of bread crumbs probably did me in. If I'm not within a pound of LDW tomorrow, I'm doing a steak day. Can't hurt and might help, right?
Step 1: Go get a scale you trust so the rest of the stabilization phase, and future round(s) are not affected by this sort of worry.

Step 2: Only do a steak day if you're over your +2.0 buffer of your last drops weight. You would not want to do an adjustment day, via ruthless application of a steak, unless it is needed.

    Are/were you hungry?

My guess is that you were going through detox and part of that is reducing inflammation, which is why your knees were feeling better. Also this is an extremely good diet for reducing inflammation except for tomatoes, since they're in the nightshade family.

Weekends are hard. But it's nice to go back to your weekday routine. I know I have cravings with TOM. I drink a glass of water with Apple cider vinegar and stevia (MSM optional) first thing in the morning and it help with my cravings.
