I realize this is probably not 'encouraging' in the right way LOL :P but I lose weight everytime I have red wine, *EVERY* single time. I make sure I drink tons and tons of water too. (2 glasses of water per glass). I've done this throughout P3 and every time I wake up lighter the next morning...obviously not by TONS, I have never gone outside my 2 lb over/under window, but anything from .2 up to a whole pound of loss each time.

I don't know if the fact that I have always drank lots of red wine has anything to do with it, I can't imagine it would...but my hubby and I lived in the California Wine Country before moving here lol, so we love our wine :P
Ok, that's it! I'm enjoying some Red Wine tonight!! I had a glass on Valentine's day and I have the rest of the very good bottle sitting in the kitchen, afraid to enjoy the rest!

Cynm- funny how our bodies work, congrats on the 2lbs lost!
Swabby- you have your P3 figured out to a T! Nice to have that wiggle room now for you!! WTG!
TuesdayK- Your almost there! You did GREAT on your P3!! And a huge congrats to your hubby on his nice drop!!

AFM- still riding my 1/2 lbs train, down .5 again this morning :-) My ride is moving slowly but at least its still moving!!

Have a wonderful day everyone! We were blasted with more snow last night and I need to take my dog to the vet today which is an hour and a half drive. Hope the highways are cleared off by then. Will check back with you all later.
Being almost at goal, we would love to see before and after pics!! You must look so different, you have done an amazing job!

Today is my first day of p4. I am right at LDW. I had a great P3. I did not have to do a correction day.
I plan to stay with P3 foods. Later on, I may add legumes and some fruits gradually.

I've found that when I eat a smaller meal at dinner and not eat 3 hours before bed, the next day, I am down.

I LOVE parm cheese and eat it often. Whole Foods has an overpriced one that is so rich and flavorful that you can eat it straight. And I did. It was the first P3 food I ate.

Thanks for the kind words guys. I really try to accept the 'new me' but I have been so critical of my body for so long, that I am having a HARD time loving it now...still see the 'flaws' I need to fix, yk? I'm sure it will pass! (I HOPE SO! haha)

AFM: this morning I am still holding on pretty well. I am 3 days (not counting today) away from being through P3 and have not had to do a steak day. I am .4 over my LDW and I know TOM is around the corner, so I am surprised it's not more!!

As for my DH! He was down almost 4 pounds this morning!! holy smokes.....

    MEN! (:P hahaha)
I forgot that you are my P3 buddy! We both have just 3 days left! Other than my spring roll incident, I had no trouble stabilizing either (and yes, I learned my lesson!!). I'm nervous and excited for P4. I've been making that sugar free fudge for my BF and it's made from Bananas as a base. I did such a good job on it yesterday that I had 3 pieces and I could have eaten the whole pan!! It's a mix of 1 banana, 4 tbsp coconut butter, 1 tbsp Stevia in the Raw, 4 tbsp unsweet cocoa, and last night I tripled the recipe as I had 3 very ripe bananas and I added a tbsp natural peanut butter to the mix and it made the fudge perfect. Thick, rich, sweet. You put it in a pan, squish it down and put it in the fridge for a little while and it is exactly the same consistency as Fudge. Anyway, I had probably 100 calories of it last night and with the banana I was a little worried. But I'm down -.4 today and just 1 lb above my LWD. Anyway, I'm excited to hit P4 when hopefully the fluctuations will be much less when having a little starch or sugar! Then I can eat banana fudge with no guilt!!

No. ; ( And I'm still *****ing about it! The Tuna, however, was hiding behind other cans in the pantry area and I looked in there and moved a couple cans around, but I was not diligent in that section as it seemed obvious that there was no Tuna there. Whoops! On the up side, my cupboards are now cleared out and clean!!

I normally eat after 8pm and up to 10pm on occasion for dinner. And I have a snack after as well.

Gratz on the loss. Seems that red wine agrees with you. Course I don't like it so not something I'm going to be trying lol.

I often have a snack after 8pm and haven't had any issues with maintaining up to now. Still at the same weight day after day... kind of funny to me actually. I'm not sure I was this stable before I did HCG but didn't have the same scale so perhaps I was. I am glad this program works so well though.

So I've been planning to do a big wardrobe overhaul....out with the fat, in with the fit. But I kept just buying a thing here and there...well, this Sunday I'm going to finally purge the old and start fresh. The tipping point was when I wore a new shirt yesterday and got three compliments before lunch...and it isn't like I have lost anymore weight in the past month. I just realized it was because I was still wearing a lot of the same clothes as I did at the higher weight. I definitely owe it to myself to dress in a manner that shows off the hard work!

As for weight, holding pretty steady still, was down 1 lb this morning and am completely over my brief illness so it seems I navigated that decently well.

Have my future sister-in-law coming to town this evening through the weekend which will be fun as she is a blast....plus now my wife can put her to work on the big brunch for Saturday and I can catch a little break.

For those of you that do yoga, I had a nice moment yesterday when I completed my first unassisted headstand. I've been able to do it with the mirror for support but finally pulled it off in the middle of the room. Once I got it the first time, I was able to do it three more times with no issue...funny how that works. Full handstand is next, but that is going to take some time.

Happy Thursday everyone...make it a great day!!!!

I'm making this tonight. With Parmesan cheese off course

    Cheesy Flax Cracker

    2 cups shredded cheese*
    1 cup flax seed meal
    1/2 cup butter, softened
In a bowl, combine cheese, flax seed meal and butter. Mix until mixture forms a ball. Roll into a 1-1/2″ cylinder; wrap in waxed paper and store in the refrigerator for 30 minutes until firm. Using a sharp knife, slice cylinder into 1/8″-1/4″ segments and place 3″ apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in 400 degree oven for 6 minutes. Let rest for a minute or two on the pan if too difficult to move. Cool on a rack. Store in a bag on the counter.

    Makes roughly 36-48 crackers.

    BTW,
I think you can use this as a pizza crust..... (wipes drool)

Ohh I was looking for something I could use as a chip to have with some fresh salsa and guacamole (once I'm in P3... I have a whole schedule made out!) This will be PERFECT!

I am mentioning this because sudden weight loss like that is caused by you letting go of water that you were retaining previously (other rationales could be a clerical error, or a scale malfunction), and my guess would it be be based on sensitivities.
What have you been eating the last days to cause the weight gain to 5 pounds over LIW?
Way to burst a gal's bubble!! lol
i know u are trying to help and i thank you for it!!! the 5 lbs have not been in the last days..the first few came on rapidly the first few days of p3..the others have been a slow accumualtion...i did try a start over to watch for sensitivities...seems eggs cause me trouble grumble grumble and almonds and cheese and well almost anything that is not p2...except for mushrooms yay and now hopefully wine

It is very possible that wine is the panacea of all stabilization ills.

Track what you're eating, then toss it up so we can help stare down any potential troubles
