Gratz on the loss. Seems that red wine agrees with you. Course I don't like it so not something I'm going to be trying lol.
I often have a snack after 8pm and haven't had any issues with maintaining up to now. Still at the same weight day after day... kind of funny to me actually. I'm not sure I was this stable before I did HCG but didn't have the same scale so perhaps I was. I am glad this program works so well though.
So I've been planning to do a big wardrobe overhaul....out with the fat, in with the fit. But I kept just buying a thing here and there...well, this Sunday I'm going to finally purge the old and start fresh. The tipping point was when I wore a new shirt yesterday and got three compliments before lunch...and it isn't like I have lost anymore weight in the past month. I just realized it was because I was still wearing a lot of the same clothes as I did at the higher weight. I definitely owe it to myself to dress in a manner that shows off the hard work!
As for weight, holding pretty steady still, was down 1 lb this morning and am completely over my brief illness so it seems I navigated that decently well.
Have my future sister-in-law coming to town this evening through the weekend which will be fun as she is a blast....plus now my wife can put her to work on the big brunch for Saturday and I can catch a little break.
For those of you that do yoga, I had a nice moment yesterday when I completed my first unassisted headstand. I've been able to do it with the mirror for support but finally pulled it off in the middle of the room. Once I got it the first time, I was able to do it three more times with no issue...funny how that works. Full handstand is next, but that is going to take some time.
Happy Thursday everyone...make it a great day!!!!
I'm making this tonight. With Parmesan cheese off course
Cheesy Flax Cracker
2 cups shredded cheese*
1 cup flax seed meal
1/2 cup butter, softened
In a bowl, combine cheese, flax seed meal and butter. Mix until mixture forms a ball. Roll into a 1-1/2″ cylinder; wrap in waxed paper and store in the refrigerator for 30 minutes until firm. Using a sharp knife, slice cylinder into 1/8″-1/4″ segments and place 3″ apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in 400 degree oven for 6 minutes. Let rest for a minute or two on the pan if too difficult to move. Cool on a rack. Store in a bag on the counter.
Makes roughly 36-48 crackers.
BTW,
I think you can use this as a pizza crust..... (wipes drool)

It's the little things.....
for instance:
My daughter babysits a little boy after his preschool every THursday. Every Thursday his mother sends money for chicken nuggets from Wendys. This is essentially the only 'fast food' the kids get, so it's a treat each week.
Every THursday I smell their yummy goodness and then come home to my 'Phase-whatever' lunch without the convenience of driving through and having my food handed to me :P
WELLLLLLLLLL
Today I thought to myself "I CAN GET A SALAD...What the hizzzzle!" woo hoo
I got a Cobb salad....everything on there is a-okay as I have tried it all with no problems...and the avocado ranch dressing that came with it I was ready to toss until I checked the back and checkity check it: 1 carb
yay-yuh.
:P
(I did semi-cheat though and get a diet coke :X)

Currently in P3
After this next round I'll be shopping in my own wardrobe!! I can't wait, I am so excited to be able to wear my clothes again!! these fat clothes are so hard to take when I have an entire wardrobe of stuff that I think is beautiful and love wearing!! And a ton of stuff I was buying when I was losing weight did not quite fit me yet so I have loads of clothes with tags still on. this is the year I will be wearing them!!
I pinned those babies on my Pinterest board the other day. They look yummy!!
WELL, WHEN THE RESULTS ARE SO QUICK AND MAINTAINING A SUCCESS, IT IS EXCITING TO GO AGAIN. I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO MY NEXT P2 IN 3 WEEKS, 3 DAYS! I AM dreading 6 long weeks of chicken, cabbage, tomatoes and cucumber again but the results are so exciting it is totally worth it. I'm jealous! When I start in 3 weeks, you'll already weigh 20 lbs less!!
One question for everyone. Has anyone had problems with leg cramping? I had one charlie horse last week, but can feel my calf muscles tightening up and am worried. I have been taking Potassium but is there something else I should do? I used to get cramping all the time when I worked out, like once or twice a week, but I'm not working out right now. I'm wondering if my diet is deficient in something as I am avoiding most carbs. Thoughts?
