Thread: Any other 'Weight Loss Apocalypse Protocol' followers out there??

    Good news-no sugar shakes today, but then again, I'm also eating about an hour earlier. The unquenchable thirst is gone. I felt some signs of hunger and made an omelet. So, woke up at 8 AM, and I'm eating at 10:30 am. Bacon and feta 3 egg omelet.

    Yesterday was all eating only when hungry and stopping when satisfied. 8% carbs, 64% fat, 28% protien. It was 1802 calories, and today I am 1.2 lbs under LIW. P3 day 4.

    Eggs seem to be no problem at all, so last night I added cheese in my salad. This morning, more cheese. I'll see how I do!

    Does anyone know what Robin says about not being able to eat till satisfied due to life's circumstances? Does she say eat a snack, then eat a full meal when you can? For me, I'll be hungry at about now 10:30 or 11:00, but 5 days out of 7, I can't eat at that time (I'll be speaking in front of people), but I can eat around noon, though, actually it's closer to 1 PM because I'm in my car at noon! I bet that's not unique to me-not being hungry when you wake up, but neither being able to eat at 10 or so due to work. What to do if you're trying to only eat when hungry? Seems like some people are forced to eat by the clock or work schedules?

    Quick check in. Yesterday was o.k. Ate when hungry. Stopped when satisfied (but for me that's more like a 6 on the scale I guess than 5.5). Total ca. 2400 cal. Up to 65.0 kg this morning (still 0.4 below LIW). Dairy seems to b fine. But not adding cream cheese yet.
    Got hungry today at 10:30 a.m. (that's not typical for me) & it took quite a lot to take the hunger away (900 cal). Added some almonds & sunflower seeds today. Let's c how that goes.

    She shows a day of eating in her life on her vlogs, where she is in the same situation. She ate a snack while driving (nuts) to carry her over till after a session with a client b4 lunch & another snack later on (I think it was sushi) to reduce hunger till she finished preparing dinner. Check the vlogs out. As far as I remember, she ate the snacks to het her to 4.5 or so, so she'd b at 3.5 again at lunch/dinner time.

    Normally don't get hungry till noon.

    I'm doing the hunger scale during P2 this time around. Something that Robin said about the food being there to enjoy later has been a big help to me. I was having my strawberry "smoothie" yesterday and it was soooooo good, but I was satisfied before I was finished. It took a lot not to down it all, but the thought of being able to have it when I was hungry again made it easier to stop. Baby steps right?

    Pensee, thanks for your replies. I like that snacking is ok! This, I think, is going to work better for me than a full meal when the timing is awful. I have watched 2 vlogs and I'll be watching more. But, your reply took some of my anxiety off the table.

    Yes, I know what you mean! I have had to stop and think instead of mindlessly eating while doing something else, or stop eating even though what I'm eating is dang good. Both are new experiences for me. lol!

    Still eating with hunger only and still staying solid in p3 day 5. Eggs are fine, and I'm on day 3 with cheese. Tomorrow I'll add nuts.

    Today will be the first day I'll have to snack to get out of hunger, but not be able to eat a meal till later due to work. Keeping my fingers crossed!

    Happy u gals r doing so well. Don't know what's happening at the moment. Must b something hormonal. Ate so much yesterday. Breakfast at 10.30. 13.30 was hungry again? So had lunch. And around 8 p.m. I needed to eat again & didn't seem to b able to get full! Didn't over eat in terms if hunger (maybe a little at lunch), but really over did it in terms of cal. Ca. 3200! Maybe more. Anyway, up to 65.4 today (exactly LIW). Had breakfast around 10.30 again today. But it took only ca. 400 cal to fill me up today (vs.900 yesterday morning). Let's c how the day goes. Giving a talk this afternoon at the conference I am attending. Wish me luck.

    Robin says calories don't matter as long as you're following the hunger scale. What matters is responding properly to letpin signals. Sounds like you're following your hunger and are just more hungry than usual.

    Doing the hunger in P2 is interesting. Today I got hungry before lunch and it took less than half an apple and a couple bites of meat to take care of it.

    Good luck at the conference! What is the topic?

    Can imagine that. Didn't wanna start using it during p2 myself, cause was too afraid of changing anything. This was my first P2 without cheating. But if things work out well for me with it until my next p2 I ll definitely try it as well. My next p2 won't b until Nov. though.

    Well, so far I seem to b stabilizing not too badly, despite of the amount of food. But liked having some buffer to LIW. I know I am not supposed to weigh everyday, but am not brave enough for that yet.

    The conference is abt medicinal plants. I am into research in that area and will b talking about some of my research results treating heart burn (reflux) with a plant extract combination.
