I just started the program this week. I'm vegetarian and I got "The Living Vegan HCG Diet Cookbook" they offer over 100 recipes. The Guide that came with my drops suggested that we should eat different protein meals for lunch and dinner. I'm using tofu and low cal/fat soy protein and getting good results so far (I also had 1 egg + 3 egg whites for one meal one day). I have lost 6lbs since Wednesday (07/15/2015 the day I started the 500 cal diet). It is 6lbs in 3 days. I ordered some whey protein powder this week from nutrimatrix.com. It has 110 cal no fat, 2 carbs<1g sugar, 26 g protein. This protein shake was recommended in one of the HCG books I read. L-Carnatine is a good ingredient to help with weight loss. The Supp Lean 900g Chocolate sounds like a really good one but like I would recommend eating it for only one meal per day. I'm following the protocol as closely as possible except for the meat. I also changed my body soap, face cleanser, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo/conditioner, etc for the ones listed on my guide book "HCG Diet Losing Weight One Phase At A Time" by Carla Matrell. It's an amazing guide with the original manuscript from 'Pounds and Inches' in the end of the book. It breaks down all the info in the protocol with suggestions of what you should do and get to go along with the diet. Good luck with your Diet. I'm in the process of looking for a support group. I don't know anyone that is doing the HCG diet. If you know of a good support group/Forum let me know, Thanks.

Try the phase 2 forum. Different people started at different times, but there are some great people there offering some great support. It was extremely helpful to me... I'm in P3- but I still pop in the P2 forum. Good luck to you....

It's best to post questions in "ask grammy"- you are more likely to get an answer there-- however, grammy and Leez are out of town-- but there are some others that pop in and out and they could possibly answer.
