Any of this is a complicated name for oil
If it helps to know this, I get rashes on HCG, too (last round it was my hands--this one it's on my FACE). For me, they do pass. I soaked mine with baby oil at night and anytime I could get away with it. I have applied the teeniest bit of neosporin to the worst bits. I use neutrogena oil-free products during this P2. There are tons of threads about lotions people have used successfully and not over the years. For example, regular cetaphil was OKed by someone's doctor, but that clearly has glycerin, an oil. Some just use their normal health care & beauty stuff and lose fine. I think it's luck of the draw. I wish you a less itchy day and hope some of this helped.

Haha, Swiss chard is a vegetable. Never heard of it ;-) Sounds like cheese

Sorry, I was in P3 mode when I said one fruit per day... because that's what I was told to do to err on the side of caution. But in P2, yes, two fruits. I just only eat one to avoid any increased sugar and carbs because of eating Fage. As for the rash, I too have been using baby oil to moisturize, but then again, I haven't changed my hair products and my cleansing conditioner is loaded with oils, lol as is the oil I put on my hair after I get out of the shower (I use Wen products).

So I am not sure if this was the moisturiser or my having two subsititutes on the same day or if my body just decided to baloon up (.. yeah that was dramatic I know ... ), but today I have lost what I gained yesterday plus an extra pound. So I am thinking that is good. I did not do oranges yesterday, but had an apple for BF instead, had the protein shake for lunch with a tomato, ate 4 Oz of strawberries for an evening snack (just wanted to eat something by then, rough day at work ... ) and had 1whole egg+1/2 cup eggology egg whites with some spinach for dinner. I took all of your advice and used baby oil for my rashes and dry skin and that kept my skin calm for most of the day without needing some more.
Round 1 - Stabilized at 21.2 lbs losses
    Round 2 Wk1:
    R2Load1 - 148.2
    R2Load2 - 147.0
    R2VLCD1 - 145.2
    R2VLCD2 - 144.6
    R2VLCD3 - 144.6

OK, Brethin, talk about opening up a can of worms.
Really? Look at our oceans. The name BP mean anything to you? Or the how the ocean that was once full of water is now full of plastic? And we still call it sea"food"? Look at what cows and chickens are actually eating--corn, to fatten them up, and if they are lucky, that's mostly what they eat--and the amount of grain that it takes to feed them that could be better served allievating hunger worldwide.
I'm not saying everyone has to be 100 percent vegetarian, but every meatless meal you choose helps save the planet.
This says it all better than I can:

Brethin, this is a decision you have to make for yourself. It's actually strange you are asking that question on a vegetarian thread. I don't tell what people they should eat, that is their decision. The only thing I will tell you is if you choose to eat meat than get grass fed meats from a small farm, not from the supermarket. Other than that the decision to eat meat is up to you.

check out this video and you will remember why you became a vegetarian:
    www.meatvideo.com

Such cruel and unsanitary conditions. Made me want to vomit. Warning: the video is very graphic and appalling.

Hi all - I have just read this entire thread from pg 1 - My first bout as a vegetarian was after I saw a Fellini documentary at age 16 on slaughterhouses and seeing it was a Fellini film... you can imagine...
I hear ya lawgal- [nice to see you again]-

Last year I was mostly vegetarian bordering on vegan and felt much better - I did do my first round protocol(with meat etc,) but started running into problems. Started only having one type protein daily, cut out chicken, and one type veg and 1 fruit -When I moved into P3 and re-introduced chicken(free range, organic) had a huge gout attack and forget the one steak day I tried. So I'm going at least mostly vegetarian this round - vlcd2 for me -Will do shakes Fage some eggs occasionally, occ. fish/shrimp-just because I have some left from R1 - Had a lot of food reactions on P3/4 -
So, I'm winging it. Today tried a veg liquid Amino complex thinking I could substitute that for a protein... maybe, but on a day I also only had 0%Fage had no fat intake ended up poaching two whole eggs and felt much better(had steamed cabbage after).

lawgal Where is the least expensive place to get the Robbs egg whit shakes? - I liked my choc one the other day made just with water.

So glad to meet you all, I'll be listening in and trying to figure this all out... and my body, too.
When I change my perspective, I change how I think - and then my life changes - ... Me

So far, I have found that propelnutrition.com is the best place to buy them cost wise. I also search ebay from time to time.

I am a Jay Robb drinker, have been from day one. If you have a Vitamin Shoppe anywhere around you, they have the best prices. Their in-shop prices are much lower than their online. If you really like it, they sell the large BUCKETS of vanilla for 99.00. That was about 30.00 less then anwhere I could find it online when you factor price (about 125) and then add on shipping charges. they have all the flavors (whey too) in the smaller cans for much less too. The bucket of course is more afordable in the long run if you are going to drink regularly. In my 40 day program, I had to order the canisters several times because I ran out....then, I realized we have a Vitamin Shoppe in town....Ugh
