    Need help.....

    I am at 140, lost only 2 pounds and its more than 2 week.

    now, question will be what I am eating:
    glass of skim milk
    1 greek yogurt
    1 apple
    1 orange
    salad with no dressing

    Any suggestions please.

    Hi Anki,

    I think you are only allowed 1 tablespoon of milk a day - the yoghurt is a no no on P2. Have you read Pounds and Inches? If not then you can get it online and just scroll down to where it says "The Diet" (around three quarters of the way down the page):

    You can substitute your 100 grams of meat with veggie alternatives...let me know if you need more help - Im fairly new but I will try and help...

    Well, all done nicely but I want to know that can I eat meat during 2??
    One of my friend told me about bleeding in stool. I don't know what was the case!

    I am just on my 6th day, first timer, staying true to protocol but vegan and gluten free, logging everything and keeping my cals just below 500, carbs super low too. I did cave and eat eggs and cottage cheese twice but I don't think I can do it again, LOL, it was too gross.

    Haven't experienced any drastic weight loss yet... just a half pound.
    (went up 3 after the loading days due largely to sodium and water weight I think)
    I have 25 to lose to be at my ideal weight.

    Hi Sugarbunnie,

    Pea protein shakes are extremely high in protein and very very low in carbs and fats. Get yourself some flavoured stevia and you can make lovely creamy shakes. I dont have a problem with eating soya or gluten - I dont believe the hype when it comes to soya and eat it until its coming out of my ears!! Depends which experts you listen to I suppose. So I make myself some vegan steaks with vital wheat gluten and I eat tofu and tempeh. But anyway you should have lost far more than you have so something isnt right. Half a pound in six days isnt right. I lost around 6lbs I think my first week (maybe more let me go check. Ok my notes are all over the place but I lost over 5lbs in four days I think) so Im not sure why you arent losing.

    Yeah, it's weird. I do an annual 30 day juice fast and Master Cleanse, in addition to seasonal 5 day juice fasts, and generally find my body will lose about a half pound a day (usually I am only within 10 lbs of my goal weight, so I find the weight is slower to come off). I expected this diet would yield the same results of a half pound daily, and it's not (yet, anyway).

    The weight I like to be is 140, which puts me at a very small size 4 (or 2 in some clothes). My body likes to be 150, and at that I am a solid 6. (I am 5'7" but have always been "dense", LOL, weighing more than I look like I do). I did a lot of traveling and had some stressful times the last 6 months and that put me at a whopping 166! I've never been that heavy, and I am so careful about what I eat, even when traveling, so I really am clueless how it happened. Bothersome. Anyway, in an effort to ditch the weight quick I thought I'd give HCG a try. I'm at 164 today. (was at 169 at the end of the load days).

    I have been tracking every speck of food on myfitnesspal.com, weighing everything, and not going off protocol. I am also doing sublingual B12. I am not using any body lotions or anything, just the tiniest pea-sized drop of moisturizer spf 30 stuff. That's not my downfall is it?

    I have been wary of stevia but finally bought a few pea protein shakes yesterday after reading your posts, Sunwarrior and Plantfusion (Have to admit: the chocolate Plantfusion was great, I made it with ice and Good Karma brand unsweetened Flax Seed milk which has only 25 calories). I also purchased some tofu. I wonder if the egg and cottage cheese just confused my body because I don't usually eat animal proteins?

    I don't mind soy either, but I just don't like to eat a lot of manufactured/processed foods, so I'll do soymilk or tofu on occasion but the majority of my diet is whole-food plant-based (rarely anything that comes out of a package). Gluten free is not by choice, I have Celiacs. (I'd live in a bread factory if I could, LOL)

    I purchased my HCG from TrimNutrition - it's for 28 days only. I am debating purchasing another kit so I can just keep going to 40 days. Or is it better to only do the 28, then wait before another round (I don't want to waaaait). LOL

    Sorry for rambling, you seem so knowledgeable and I am trying to make the most out of my time on HCG.

    Hi Sugarbunnie - we are the same height. I weigh 154 lbs and wanna lost another stone at least so we have roughly the same goal!! I was one pound under 13 stone just before my last (and first) round and the lbs dropped off me. In your other post you said youd only lost half a pound but above you say youve lost 5lbs? Im on round two day 4 VLCD and have lost 6lbs so you are doing ok I think!! Well Dr S says no creams on HCG but I do use them myself and it doesnt seem to affect me personally but I guess we are all different. Re how many days, Grammy says she sees better stabilization on the longer rounds and last round I did 46 days and I stabilized so well, in P3 I could eat and eat and eat. And Im not talking salads and veggies here lol. Im talking treat foods and hardly ate any greens (which is wrong I know but I just couldnt believe how many calories I could eat and not put the weight back on). So - how many days VLCD and how many lbs lost??

    Im still soooo new to this but thanks for thinking Im knowledgeable lol...

    Hello guys

    I am not a vegetarian but i think its good to eat more fresh veggies in the hcg diet until P3... Because it helps you to lose weight with a healthy way. veggies are always helps to reduce the colestrol of the body and also burn the fat. What do think about it?

    I have done hcg in the past (over a year ago) and now I'm getting ready for another round but I have switched to a vegan diet since my last time on hcg. You recommend pea protein. What kind do you use? What do I need to look for in the nutritional information when deciding what kind to use? It's been awhile since you posted so not sure if you are still on here but I hope to hear back from you. I could use some help!

    Hi MistiRea - sorry Ive only just seen your post. I used Pulsin pea protein. I just tried to eat low low fat and match my daily protein to that of the original protocol and keep to the 500 calories - it was easy peasy. There is a vegan version of steak day called steak day pudding but I really didnt like the taste but you can find it online. My daily diet consisted of tempeh, tofu (I dont have a problem with tofu) and meat replacement products. I ate a lot of Realeat vegan chicken but am not sure you can get it outside of the UK. Theres a website called www.hcgcoach.com and she is a vegan. I didn't follow any of her recipes though - I just did my own thing and it worked really well and I stablized beautifully. Ive read a blog from a raw vegan who did the HCG protocol and she also had great success with it.

    I really need help, I tried HCG drop diet in Nov, my weight was 140, when I started and during phase 1 I gained 5 lb and during phase 2 I lost only 6 lb I came to 139 and then I stopped diet. frankly lost only 1 pound . In past 1 and 1/2 month during holiday I gained another 3 lb. I am starting HCG drop diet again wanted to give it one more try . I am starting with 147 pounds (4 lb load weight) and and its been 4 days didn't lost much wait (less than pound).

    Any suggestions for me, getting married in Feb end and wanted to reduce at least 25 lb. In July 2010, I use to weigh 115. Do you think might be my body doesn't like this deit, should I try anything else. I just have 2 months left, I know I am late .

    Can you share with me your menu?
