    Morning Star Farms

I'm just wondering if anyone has eaten the Morning Star Farms sausages or original Griller patties and still lost weight okay on phase 2? I am tiring a little of the cottage cheese and eggs.

tellmemoore, I use MorningStar Farms products, however, I was going to buy some Grillers and saw that the calorie count was higher than the products I've been eating. I buy crumbles, (beef and sausage), California Chik'n patties, and the Turkey patties. Those all have a 90 calorie count per serving. That enables me to eat something delicious while using my calories wisely.

    I hope that helps.

    Monday,

Has it slowed your weight loss down much?

Thanks for the reply. Do you just eat the crumbles plain or do you mix them with something?

They'd be good with whatever spices you like.

    Hi Tellmemore,

I don't use Morningstar products because they use egg whites and I'm vegan, however I believe many people have used them with success. My advice would be to always look at the numbers to ensure the fat and carb content aren't off the charts. If you're tracking your numbers daily (calories, carbs, protein) this will help you to balance the use of these types of products. I did use crumbles with great success as well as tofu (silken and regular) and other alternatives. If you're looking for a crumbles recipe there's one on my website in the free recipe download. That should give you an idea of how to use them. I hope this helps!
