i loaded yesterday and today. i feel like crap cause I got fries at 5guys and maybe their oil needed changing? I dunno. i had goat cheese, nuts, and latr tonight when I feel better, I'm going to polish off my coconut milk ice cream (mmmm pomgranate chip mmmmm) and probably some cookies. I might even try a slice of pizza if I can find a place w/slices. i almost wish tomorrow was day two cause there is a street fest I know I can find pizza there. Yesterday i probably shouldn't even count as a load day. all I had was a bunch of nuts and some goat gouda & tortilla chips that were high fat. oh. avocado too. it's hard to eat junk if you don't eat lots of junk normally.
my pellets came today too so my drops which are almost gone I can finish off in the next few days....... we'll see. i lost 2 lbs between yesterday's weigh and todays, so maybe I should load one more day. ???

I just use Jay Robb Whey Protein Shakes:

25g protein (per scoop) - allowance for hCG diet is 60-75g per day
    1g carbohydrates
    0 fat
    0 trans fat

Since I'm in P2 I only have tea (or coffee) for breakfast. And then I either have a protein shake or 1 whole egg + 3 egg whites OR some cottage cheese for lunch, dinner or both. Also I drink at least 2 litres of water per day and just go walking for at least 1/2 hour at least 3 times per week after work. I'm currently at a stall, but at least I'm not gaining

    Hello,

I'm on my first VLC day today and am wondering how everything turned out for you guys? I just realized mixing veggies is no no so there went my plan to do green smoothies with my veggie and fruit allowances for the day. So I've planned my menu with chicken and shrimp until I find a good protein powder. I would love to hear from you guys

I use the sun warrior protein powder, it's raw and vegan. It's also disgusting, but I keep playing with it. I finally have it down where I like it. I use my tassimo and do a "morning roast" coffee. I pour that into my blender and do a little over 1 scoop of choco (i have all the flavors but choco is the best) i then do 6 shakes of powder stevia, and if i really want i'll do a couple drops of dark choco stevia liquid. I blend that up. I dont use silk or almond milk or even plain water, i mix it with my coffee. If it's a day where i have time, i'll do a baked apple with stevia powder and cinnamon, and with my hot drink and hot apple...i pretend i'm in my favorite coffee shop. And yes, i drink the protein drink hot.

Thank you for weighing in PugMommy It sucks the sun warrior is gross. It sounds perfect if it is raw AND vegan. Has using it affected your weight loss?

I like to have green vegetables & fresh fruits in salad & after food. They are best for digestion & best source of energy & keeps skin hydrated. Dairy products like curd is also included in my diet.

I was doing some research and found this on a website for vegetarians:
    Breakfast:

Drink your coffee, tea or water with or without Stevia sweetener and one piece of fruit; apple, orange, 1/2 grapefruit or handful of strawberries.

    Lunch:

Any amount of vegetables from the approved list with either Tofu, 3 egg whites or 1/3 cup of cottage cheese.
**Be sure to mix these options up and not eat the same one everyday.

Vegans - use a Vega shake (see below) if you choose, otherwise eat as many veggies as you like and stick to the high protein vegetables like Kale and Spinach.

    Mid-afternoon Snack:

One piece of fruit, same as breakfast

    Dinner:

Same options as lunch, eat a ton of vegetables.

    - Supplement for protein that may be added in addition to the above foods:

    Vega Whole Food Health Optimizer
    26g of Broad Spectrum Protein
    6g of Essential Fatty Acids
15g of Fiber, No sugar or sugar derivatives
100% Recommended Daily Intake of Vitamins and Minerals

I wanted to post my menu in case there are others who could benefit. I am a vegetarian who does not eat eggs or chicken and do not like products like morningstar made to look or resemble meat so I am limited. I have 30 lbs to lose and have been on plan for 14 days and have lost 10lbs. Its working great for me considering your losses slow as you get closer to goal. Here is my menu, calculated precicely to 500 calories.... For what it's worth (oh, and no cheats by the way :-) Also, the Jay Robb drinks taste incredibly good. A recommendation by my homeopathic doctor and cant thank her enough. ZERO carbs, ZERO sugar.

Menu: (Vitamin B Super Complex because Im not getting it from meat sources, women's daily multi and Biotin for vitamins)

Morning Snack or afternoon Snack but not both: 4.4oz apple 65 calories

Lunch: 20grams of Jay Robb Protein Shake powder in 8 oz of water 74 calories
strawberry 7.4 oz blended in the protein shake - 67 calories
    4.4oz apple 65 calories
Cucumber sclices 3.5 oz 13 Calories

Dinner: 20grams of Jay Robb Protein Shake powder in 8 oz of water 74 calories
strawberry 7.4 oz blended in the protein shake - 67 calories
    4.4oz apple 65 calories
Cucumber sclices 3.5 oz 13 Calories

Total of 503 Calories (but I figure I wont be licking my protein cup clean : - )
