    Exclamation RAW Vegan?!? HELP!

I'm going to start this HCG diet as soon as I can figure out how to do it without screwing it up! I've been looking every where it seems like with no true answers. I don't cook meat though I do eat it sometimes but I hate cooking it or buying it. (I was vegetarian for years and eat meat once in awhile now) It just seems like too much of a hassle and I don't believe its very healthy for you so then I went to the idea of doing it RAW vegan.. God's pure food but cannot find much info about it on the internet. Nobody really goes into detail about what they eat, how much, etc. So then I thought screw it.. I'll just try it vegetarian but I don't like the thought of eating eggs and cottage cheese the thought makes my stomach sick and protein powders do not seem healthy to me either. I couldn't eat that every day. I am just one confused woman! And I'm not even sure how to ask questions and get the answer I am looking for..

Has anyone here tried it WITHOUT eggs, cottage cheese, this quinoa or ezekiel bread everyone speaks of, or without protein powder shakes?!?

Has anyone tried it with raw almonds, cashews, etc instead to get their protein (replacing meat portions with nuts) and actually LOST weight with using it instead?! (I read about cashews and see that its risky and most people gain from it but everyones different)

Has anyone tried it on a raw vegan diet?!?

If you have done any of these.. can you give the most detailed answers as possible? What you ate exactly, what time of day, how much.. etc.. I know I'm gonna have to experiment no matter what because I'm so difficult and weird LOL. I need a lot of help! Thank you in advance!!

I do a vegan version of HCG and am on my second Round. I have used alternate protein sources, but you need to watch the fat. I've never used nuts because of their high fat content. I have used tempeh, SmartDogs, tofu and hummus for protein sources. Small amounts of each, watching calories and fat amounts. For raw vegetables, I have had red bell peppers, lettuce, cucumbers and celery. If I can help answer any other questions, please let me know.

By all I have found online people who do raw vegan often drink a green smoothie and use some nuts. I personally have had a small portion of nuts daily, but it is no where near the protein amount omni hcg-ers get, so I counter it with meat alternatives and protein shakes. If you google hcg raw vegan you will get a lot of hits. I would just read everything that comes up and when you see a menu option or recipe I would copy it.

Thank you that does help. I'm just curious too you just replace the 100 grams of meat with the tempeh, smartdogs, etc? I love tofu. I'm not really a fan of any of the other things you listed for proteins. Would you just weight a 100 grams of tofu for your meals? I'm sorry I seem like such a pain but I have found so many different sites and blogs and nobody really says how MUCH they eat. I guess nobody likes to get too detailed about it. lol I think I'm just very paranoid about not losing because I'm doing it wrong but the thought of doing the original vegetarian protocol makes me sick alone. I can't drink 500 cc of milk or eat cottage cheese every day! Let alone eat that much meat. I know it can be done vegan because I've read all over it can be just not the details. Whatever you can give me does help though. Thank you again!

I'm doing it pretty much vegan except for my couple teaspoons of half n half i use in my coffee throughout the day if i decide to have some.
i pretty much got the idea of doing it vegan by looking up more on italianrondacat (thanks btw!) i just changed it up to fit my needs.

the first two days i ate a SMALL apple for breakfast and a snack (after lunch, before dinner - they were small cause i was in a rush and just grabbed those cause thats all they had -trader joes sucks for produce!) and for lunch i had a piece of ezekiel bread (which tastes just like regular bread even better i think!) and i ate one HUGE english cucumber, then my small apple for snack and for dinner i had 1/4 cup of quinoa over a huge plate of spinach w/ salt, pepper and curry powder.

now the past two days i've been eating cauiflower instead of cucumber cause i really can't stand it and same for dinner!

i'm on day 4 of phase 2 and have lost 9lbs so far so its been doing great for me so far and i am WAY healthier than i was before eating meat and crap foods with absolutely NO nutritional value whatsoever! (all my veggies are eaten raw)

If you want to eliminate the half and half try some raw coconut oil in your coffee.

Hi, I started Phase 2 today and not purely Vegetarian (I occasionally eat eggs and fish but no red meat or chicken) and have been eating predominantly raw for 5 months now. To make things more difficult I am also gluten and dairy intolerant, so no milk or breads for me.

I plan on using Spirulina for my protein as it has a higher Iron and protein content than any other protein source. At 10 calories per serve (6 tablets) and 0 fat I should be enable me to eat extra vegetables to make up the calories.

I also plan to add kelp noodles to my salad. They contain 5 calories per 100 grams and 0 fat and carbohydrate.

Today went well, but it is only day 1. Will keep you posted on the results.

I have some "sea spaghetti" I wondered about using. I could season a blended tomato for the sauce!

    thanks for the site!
its still just confusing to me. like, what does it mean any raw foods i like? can i eat as much as i want to?
i just hate how they are not specific at all when it comes to vegetarians and vegans!
i made up my own way of doing it now and its working. down 20 lbs in 20 days! 20 days left.

    HI dear,
You shared very valuable information about the raw vegan.
I like the vegetarian foods, and mostly prefer to eat raw fruits and vegetables such as fresh apples. oranges, grapes, carrots, broccoli, and cucumber.
